Glennfield is perfect for my mum's needs. She's now lived here for a couple of years which has enabled the lovely team on Poppy to get to know her. In that time, mum's dementia has progressed quite a bit and it is reassuring that the team have built up a relationship with mum so understand her needs
really well. The care team, along with the front of house, management and entertainment teams all really care about their jobs and the residents, it's lovely to see. The cleaning, catering and laundry teams also do great work. I would have no hesitation in recommending Glennfield to anyone.

Shirley was recently at a different home but because of circumstances had to move. It was possibly the best thing that could have happened, Shirley seems a totally different persona, which is a special peace of mind. She is so much more relaxed, must be the excellent caring Glennfield carers and
staff. It was hard moving into any care home but Glennfield has made it so easy. Thank you so so much.

All staff lovely and attentive.
Reception, carers, nurses, team leads etc. My mum is very well looked after, clean, well groomed etc.
Staff update me regularly on her wellbeing.

A truly amazing care home with such friendly and caring staff. My mum is definately happier and more settled in your care.
I must give an example of how helpful your staff are.
I live approximately 2 1/2 hours drive away (the home is closer to my mums husband and daughter) and due to my mums
condition it can be difficult to catch her when she is awake.
I visited on Sunday 24th of May at 10:20 and my mum was awake and active and very alert and we had a great time together, walking in the lovely garden and chatting. I would normally leave at meal times (lunch is at 12:00), but the care team (Claire, Katy , Ishara & Nicky) and the receptionist (Cara) noticed how alert my mum was and arranged for me to stay for lunch and even set up a private dining area. This was fantastic, and such amazing care and service and it was such a rare treat to be able to sit and have a meal with my mum and we had a great time together; even singing along to the songs on the TV. Thank you everyone

My mum is now living within your care home. We know she is being looked after extremely well and that she is safe and well, like having proper meals and being washed and dressed each day preparing her for each day that is ahead of her which is really nice. Joining in with activities. We are being
informed with any enquiries that arise, having the right medication when needed. We are very happy she is in your care.

After a bad experience in another home. I am pleased I've found this one. All staff are so friendly, from reception, management, carers and nurses.
Kept updated with Dad's care and needs. Hope he continues on a good path. Thank you.

Mum moved to Glennfield Care Home at the beginning of this week, something I've been dreading. Mum had a rapid deterioration with dementia, which has taken us all by surprise & I was worried nobody would know how to care for her like I wanted. I couldn't have been more wrong, the staff on 'Poppy'
have been amazing, they've achieved more with mum in a few days, than I've managed since mums decline. Mum has settled in very quickly & so well, I can now rest at night knowing she's not only safe, but she's also happy. Also a big thank you to the home manager Jan & the receptionists who have also been a massive support this week.

I can not praise the home enough. Mum has been cared for with such dignity and kindness since she arrived in December 2025. Communication is second to none. The carers, are all amazing and meet all mums needs. 100% happy!

My mum is being looked after at Bluebell ward. I cannot fault hr care. The staff are so thoughtful and caring sometimes under extremely difficult circumstances. Mum is well fed, clean and cared for. I haven't reviewed the activities as mum is beyond that now. Not only are the ward staff wonderful,
but your wonderful receptionist is always cheerful and ready to listen to our feelings over mum, which can be overwhelming sometimes. Also want to say the hairdresser is great too.

I have just returned home to Ireland following a 3 day trip to Glennfields Care Home in order to celebrate my fathers 90th birthday. It really was a case of Planes, Trains and Automobiles just getting there, with flights, buses, car hire and accom to organise. It felt as though there was a lot
riding on this particular trip!
Thanks to the thoughtful and caring nature of all of the staff at Glennfields, it turned out to be a massive success for all concerned - my dad, sister and I had a wonderful time. To be honest, the experience far outweighed my expectations, as his behaviour can be a little unpredictable due to the nature of his dementia. We had a 'mock' lunch (in the little coffee room near reception) and they were able to organise lovely food, drinks and music. They even had a few gifts of their own for my father and joined us in singing "Happy Birthday' to him. They just couldn't have done anything better and I am so grateful to them for helping make it such a special day!

All in all I am happy with the way Frank is looked after and the condition he is kept in. I know he is very difficult at time and appreciate how he is handle at these times. On my visits to Glennfield I am treated very friendly and welcomed at all times. I am kept up to date with Frank condition and
what he has been up to since my last visit. Thank you all.

My partner is a resident in Poppy unit. The staff on this unit are wonderful, and have looked after my loved one with great care and understanding of the dementia he has and every one of the residents on this unit. The reception staff are always greeting you happily and also very helpful.

My mother is a resident at Glennfield Care Home in Wisbech. When I was leaving there back in December I looked through her window to wave goodbye and saw her on the floor. I went back in and the staff were already in action getting first aid kit to tend the cut on her head and the nurse was dialing
999. While we were waiting for the paramedics the member of staff sat on the floor with her holding her hand reassuring her things would be alright and also recording her blood pressure every 30 mins. The staff members knees must have been aching curled up in a small space but kept saying she was ok. That level of care and kindness was natural not her training. She was a credit to Glennfield and the company. 3 hours we waited for the paramedics.

Since moving in, I have felt cared for, safe and as a resident, I find the staff approachable if I have any concerns. I would recommend Glennfield to anybody.

Father needed extra care that could not be given at his independent living flat. He was transfered to Glennfield Care Home and from day one the care and attention he got was secound to none. The staff have been excellent with us and dad. It was a big move for him but he is starting to understand why
with there help.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly, caring staff who are clearly looking after Grandma well and keeping her comfortable as she is now bedridden due to her advanced dementia. Our last visit was three days ago and our experience of her care hasn't changed at all since she was first admitted - really happy
she's in good hands.

My dad has been with Glennfield for over a year. I have already recommended this care home to a friend who has now put her father in their care. I honestly can't fault the care he receives; he is always clean & well tended. The staff are so welcoming & friendly, I now feel that it's my dad's home.
The support I receive from the staff is great, they are always friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Our overall experience of Glennfield Care Home is excellent in all areas. Every member of staff has been kind, patient, thoughtful and extremely friendly. The nursing staff in particular have been outstanding with care and companionship. Although Mum was a reluctant resident, she has fully
appreciated all the wonderful care she has been given in her short stay. We would like to sincerely thank everyone who has contributed to her care and would happily recommend Glennfield to anyone needing care.
