I am very impressed with the level of care my dad receives on a daily basis. The staff are all amazing and have an incredible amount of patience.

The care provided to my mother by Feltwell Lodge has transformed her life, which has in turn, given us, her family, peace of mind. She is in a better place mentally than she has been for the past several years. I cannot express in words the gratitude we collectively have for Feltwell Lodge and its
staff. I cannot believe how lucky my mum has been to have been cared for by such kind people. Thank you!

Mum has been a resident of Feltwell Lodge for over three months and has settled in well. The manager (and her staff) have been exceptionally caring and professional. The ensuite rooms are well-equipped and spotlessly clean, as are the communal areas. The garden and grounds are very beautiful and
well-cared for.
I am very grateful indeed!

My wife has been a resident at Feltwell Lodge since October 2023. She has a very nice room, recently redecorated. She has dementia and can be difficult at times, but the care given is excellent. The staff have compassion and understand the residents' problems. The range of activities is good, my
wife likes the musical turns and coaching animals. The food is good, and I, at times, have dinner with my wife; a very nice cake was made for us on our wedding anniversary. All in all, it is reassuring knowing my wife is safe and being well cared for. If there is a problem, the home informs me straight away.

I enjoy visiting my mum at the home, she is happy and comfortable. Staff are always helpful, talking and engaging with all residents. My mum likes to take part in all activities during the day. The home is always neat and tidy when I visit. My mum's room is well equipped with everything she needs. I
am confident that my mum is safe and well cared for at the home.

My brother was prescribed end of life care at his own home, but since being in Feltwell Lodge Care Home, although he has dementia, I have my happy, fun loving brother back. He's out of bed, joining in with activities, smiling, singing and eating all of the amazing food there. The staff are all
amazing, kind and caring, and all his needs are being met.
Fantastic, I would highly recommend this care home.

Review relating to October 2025.
Our family member was a resident at this care home and was known to be approaching the end of her life. This had been discussed in advance, and we had asked about communication procedures should her condition worsen.
On the day of her death, an email was sent
stating that her breathing had become laboured. No telephone call was made to any family member at that time, despite phone contact being used on other occasions.
By the time we became aware and arrived, our mother had already passed away, meaning we were unable to be with her at the end.
This review is not about preventing death, which we understood was expected. It is about communication at a critical moment and the importance of informing family promptly when end-of-life signs are present. After her death, we asked for clarification as to why no phone call was made, but this has not been clearly explained still to date. Would encourage families to ensure that end-of-life communications are clear

I have been visiting/dealing with Feltwell lodge for nearly eight years now and in all that time, I have had no occasion for any concern. They have been ready for any change in my husband's condition and met it in a completely professional and caring manner.
The care has always been exemplary with
everything done in a dignified, caring and compassionate way.
The food surpasses what I have been offered in other establishments, by a long way, all home-cooked too.
The help, understanding and kindness, shown to me, also, is far and above what I have experienced elsewhere.
I just hope if I need a home, I will be fortunate enough to go into one as good, or even half as good as Feltwell Lodge.

My mother was a resident for 21 months, and we as a family could not have wished for a better care home. Mum was treated with dignity, care, compassion and humour by all the staff, especially in her last few months when she was bed-bound and unable or unwilling to communicate most of the time. All
the staff seem to do their job because they want to, not because they have to. Thank you once again for being with Mum when she passed, it means the world to us.

My mother was resident of Feltwell Lodge from Dec 2017 to Sep 2019. During this time, I have been nothing but impressed with the quality of care and attention shown to my mother, as well as other residents. The management and staff truly go above and beyond in their approach to caring for the
residents. My mother was bed-bound for most of her time at the Lodge, but the staff made it a point to include her in activities that might interest her; arranging for bedside poetry reading, granting us permission to put up a bird feeder directly outside her window, and bringing in visitors and animals to her room whenever possible are but a few that come to mind. The staff we encountered all demonstrated kindness, patience and professionalism; personal hygiene and facility hygiene standards were excellent, and they did a wonderful job of keeping Mum as healthy and comfortable as possible.

I was so impressed today with the entertainments manager. She had arranged for curators at a local museum to visit the home and talk about artefacts they had brought with them. My Dad engaged with one of the gentlemen immediately and was the most animated I have seen him in ages. An excellent way to
'reach' the residents.

The home is always spotlessly clean and tidy. The staff are caring and respectful to both visitors and residents. I and family are so pleased we have such a beautiful home in our area.

Feltwell Lodge is a genuine home from home. The care and respect my Dad has received has been outstanding and so comforting for us his family. I recommend Feltwell Lodge without reservation. Staff are caring, hardworking and sensitive to the individual needs of residents. The environment is warm,
clean, homely and stimulating and every effort is taken to get to know the residents well to best meet their individual needs. The setting and gardens are beautiful and the activities arranged have brought real joy to my Dad. Nothing is too much trouble and time is taken to answer queries clearly and fully. Feltwell is led by an experienced, caring and inspiring individual whose passion and determination to provide the best care possible for his residents shines through. All staff, nursing, care, cleaning, catering, grounds and maintenance take pride in their work and we will never be able to thank them enough for providing such a safe and comfortable space for my Dad to move to.

The home, managers and staff are amazing! They are so welcoming and helpful and they do their jobs amazingly. It’s like a home from home. Everything is resident-centred and they look after them so well, as if it’s their own parents/grandparents. If you have any special requests they do everything
thy can to accommodate you. I can honestly say they went above and beyond my expectations for a care home! The manager makes the home what it is with his fantastic team around him.
