My mother Bette had been in the home for just over 2 years when she passed away in May 2025. She had a lovely room with patio doors to the garden and ensuite lavatory and wash basin. The food was of a very high quality and my Mom always said that. The quality of the care was first class and I think of the people who looked after my mom as friends as did my Mom. I would recommend this place to anyone and have recently done so.

My brother has been in this care home for 3 1/2 years. He is quite happy there. He is a very lone person who does not mix well the staff try very hard to get him to mix with other residents. I find the staff + management easily to communicate with and can not fault them.

The staff made my mom very welcome. They give her excellent care and meet her needs. Mom has settled really well, far better than expected. A lovely 'home' that shows they care!

My dad moved here in July he settled in straight away. The staff and owners have looked after him marvellously, nothing to much trouble for them. Room is bright and very clean. Thank you, everyone, for all that you do.

This care home is outstanding, the management and staff are exemplary in their duties and look after the patients' every need. They are treated with respect and dignity, and also as individuals. The food is excellent with a good choice. The rooms and day rooms are kept spotless. I could not wish for anything better for my mother.

I am very pleased with the care home. The staff are always friendly, approachable and patient with my grandma, taking the time to understand her needs. They keep us regularly updated on her progress and events, which is really reassuring. The facilities are very pleasant, especially the clean en-suite bathrooms. It's great comfort knowing my grandma is well cared for.

This is an amazing place. The staff are always helpful, caring and joyful. They make the family as welcome as the residents. They always look after my dad exceptionally well. Would recommend them to other people.

A fantastic home and all staff are fantastic with Dad. Good food and good entertainment, nothing is ever too much trouble. Would recommend this home to all that are looking to put a loved one into care, always ten out of ten for what they did for Dad - a brilliant place.

The best aspect of Two Gates House is the staff. You can tell from how they interact with my father how much they like and respect him and how much he likes them. They are professional but caring in trying circumstances. The rooms are a bit dated but comfortable and the food always looks nice. I have seen the staff in action when both dealing with illness and difficult situations with aggressive residents. It leaves me with confidence that my father is safe and in good hands.

Very pleased with the care my mother-in-law is receiving. We are kept up to date with any health issues she has. The staff are excellent and always very helpful when we call or phone. The room is always clean and tidy. She is very well looked after at this establishment.

Staff are kind and considerate to both residents and visitors, sometimes in very difficult situations. They try to ensure that the residents are well looked after and safe.

My wife's change of behaviour required her to be sectioned. Two Gates House Care Home promised on a number of occasions to keep a room open for her which fees were paid. My wife's situation improved sufficiently to return to normal care. At review, it was 90% agreed my wife would return to Two Gates. This decision was reversed the following day without any consultation, as such my wife was evicted with just three days' notice with one day's notice to clean her room. Four weeks on, no contact.

My lovely Mum has been in the care of these wonderful, friendly and supportive ladies and gents for three years. I very much appreciate the care they give to Mum so lovingly and patiently, on my behalf; and the warm friendly reception I always receive when I call or visit. For me, the staff are part of our extended family and show so much kindness and understanding to each of us. Their standard of care is excellent and have kept my Mum safe and well, even in the uncertain times we find ourselves in with the Covid pandemic. I have no hesitation in recommending this Care Home for your loved ones too.

My mother is being cared for really well and has recently been quite poorly with Covid-19. She was very well cared for and is recovering very well. She has dementia, but seems happy and settled.

Two Gates house is a clean and loving home for my Mom. The staff are attentive and look after my Mom in an exceptional manner, given their workload. Mom is well fed and stimulated. I would recommend this home to others. The management are always there and staff to answer any of my questions/queries.

The team at Two Gates were incredibly helpful and approachable when I was choosing a care home for my mother who was outside the area. The process of moving Mum in was also very smooth and the staff were excellent at making that move easy and with warmth. On my visits staff are again kind and compassionate both to residents and their family. I am very relieved to have found a small friendly care home like this. Excellent value, great peace of mind.
