View Full Details of Field Farm House Care HomeThe home is always clean and tidy staff are always polite mum is always clean tidy and well dressed and happy the only thing I would like is for a china cup for a cup of tea for visitors but that's just me I don't like drinking out of plastic cups it not a complete just a suggestion
All staff, including management have been more than helpful and friendly to my mother and myself. Since my mother entered as a resident her health, her personal care, food, everything has improved. The staff are great with resident relations and make sure they are well cared for. Medications are administered at the correct times of day for the best result. When my mum entered this home she was bedridden, non verbal, had lost 2 dress sizes and become very isolated in mind and body. Since moving into Field Farm House mum is now smiling, eating, taking part in activities and walking with assistance when possible. She always looks clean and tidy in her clothing as well as personal care. Even though she has Alzheimers and Vascular Dementia, with the care given I will see my mum for longer. She is always treated with dignity and compassion. Her room is excellent with views over the countryside, it is well maintained and decorated beautifully with neutral colours.
My mother has been at Field Farm House for around five months. She took some time to settle in but the staff have been very patient and caring throughout this difficult time. Her room is lovely and we were encouraged to bring some of her personal items in to help her settle. The staff are lovely and always make us feel welcome, even if we go to visit en masse! Each resident has a birthday cake made by Chef, which is a really thoughtful touch. The manager too is a lovely lady and has never minded us popping in to see her if we have had any queries, and she has been very helpful.
