I am a resident at Derwent and have been for some time. The care is outstanding and nothing is a bother. I can not thank the staff for all they do. They are worth their weight in gold.

I am at Derwent Care Home. The care is great. The meals are good.

My mum-in-law came to Derwent Care Home after damage to her home. She was welcomed by staff and her room was lovely. The home itself is lovely, light and comfortable with different areas for residents. She was encouraged to attend events in the home but staff always respected her choices. While the home is lovely it's the staff who make it special, friendly, caring, very helpful and cheerful. As a relative you feel the staff like their jobs and the people they look after, which gives relatives peace of mind.

I find the staff brilliant, the meals are amazing, the communication is great. I get well looked after.

Very helpful and welcoming staff who are always on hand to support families and their resident. Always a great experience and my grandmother always speaks highly of the friends staff and how helpful they are especially with a cup of tea in the afternoons. Gives myself peace of mind knowing they are providing an excellent level of care and service to loved ones. Highly recommend

I have come to Derwent for respite. Everyone has been lovely & friendly both residents and staff. I have enjoyed all my meals. I will definitely be coming back.

I have recently moved into Derwentand could not have been more welcomed. All the staff are lovely and nothing is a bother. Very happy I have come to live at Derwent.

I have been at Derwent Care Home for a few weeks. The meals are good. I get well looked after. The staff are great.

The home has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and the residents are well cared for. Facilities are excellent and staff are helpful.

I have been a resident at Derwent Care Home for 8 years now, in this time I have gained a lot of confidence in myself and made lovely friends. I enjoy going to weekly bingo with residents, and enjoy the activities. I also enjoy good crack with the staff, they are always approachable when needed with anything.

Mum came to you in February 2025. I would just like to thank all the staff for all the help and support that has been given to my mum. All the staff are always very helpful, friendly and always treat mum with kindness and respect. Many thanks.

My mother-in-law has been to Derwent for a period of respite care and loved it. We were impressed by the lovely atmosphere and how much the staff care about what they do, everyone was very welcoming, the management were very helpful and informative. Would definitely recommend and use the home again.

My bedroom has a beautiful view. The care staff are very good.

My sister has been living in the home since November 2024. Firstly on a temporary basis and has been made permanent in January 2025. She settled in from the start and has been very happy and content in fact I haven't seen her so happy for a lot of years. I believe this is due to the companionship of the staff and their attention have contributed immensely to her wellbeing. I myself have found the staff outstanding and any little niggles however small have been sorted straight away. The Manger is very approachable and friendly and is always available to chat to me about my sisters welfare, also her Assistant is very helpful. All the staff are exemplary and are an asset to the company.

I can not fault this beautiful home. The dedication of the full team from management to care is excellent. The manager and deputy have gone above and beyond to make my Mam welcome. Her care is faultless - Thank you team Derwent, I will be forever in your debt.
