The staff were consistent, kind and attentive.
The residents were treated with dignity and the home feels welcoming and safe.
The environment appeared well-maintained and conducive to the residents wellbeing, while communication with families were handled in a clear and supportive manner.

My sister had a stroke and fast tracked dementia three years ago. Since then she has been living in Pear Trea under DOLs. Supporting her has not been easy as she previously lived as a recluse and I had not seen her for ten years. The was her choice not to engage with our other siblings She lived
alone and did not seem to have friends. Just a pet dog.
The care home staff have been really helpful to me in understanding her behaviour - she was not always easy and often rude to me and blamed me for locking her up. She always wanted to go home and this went through the specialist court. It was agreed she could not care for herself safely. Over time I saw that her dementia had increased. I am very happy with the care and support she is given - and bit by bit she has been encouraged to get involved in the excellent entertainment activity sessions etc. She is very well supported to maintain good cleanliness routine and the medical care is great. Food is very good and meal times sociable

The staff have shown genuine compassion, professionalism, and dedication to every resident. The environment is warm, welcoming, clean, and feels like a true home rather than just a facility.
The activities, meals, and overall standard of care are exceptional, creating a positive and supportive
atmosphere for everyone.
I would not hesitate to recommend this care home to anyone seeking professional, compassionate, and reliable care for a family member!

I really enjoy volunteering at Peartree Care Home, as a one to one spiritual support to the residents.
The staff are kind and attentive, the residents are cared for with the dignity and respect. It is a warm and friendly environment, and I am proud to support the work they do.

Peartree is quite unique.
The general consensus on care homes is that they are boring, mundane places with nothing much going on.
When it comes to Peartree they are vibrant full of energy no 2 days are the same. Activities in abundance smiles all round. The staff are friendly the residents are
happy, and the volunteers are dedicated and enthusiastic.

Peartree is always extremely clean. Staff are caring, understanding, willing to listen and approachable. There are always many activities happening, with outside agencies coming in to entertain.
Mum is safe, happy and has improved since arriving in July 2025.

Cannot fault the home in any way, the staff go out of their way to accommodate patients and relatives. First class service.

You can't find any faults with this care home. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Everywhere is clean, tidy, and sweet smelling. Everyone is cared for with care.

I cannot recommend Pear Tree enough. From the moment we visited, it was clear that the wellbeing and comfort of the residents are the top priority. The staff are exceptionally kind, compassionate, and attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure each resident feels valued and cared for.
The facilities are modern, spotless, and well-maintained, creating a warm and welcoming environment. There are plenty of activities and social opportunities tailored to residents' interests, which really helps to keep them engaged and happy. Meals are nutritious, freshly prepared, and served with care, catering well to individual dietary needs.
Communication with families is excellent; staff are approachable and provide regular updates, giving peace of mind that loved ones are in safe hands. The level of professionalism combined with genuine warmth makes this nursing home feel more like a supportive community than just a care facility. We are incredibly grateful.

My partner described Peartree as a nice hotel, the food and service were good. She was cocooned in bed and looked very comfortable. I would recommend Peaertree to anyone looking for excellent care for their loved ones.

During this time I have been a volunteer visitor, I have been impressed by the range of activities provided for the residents. The residents are always treated well, and their dignity is always paramount. The rooms and communal areas are always spotless. The residents appear to have appetising
meals. The residents are always well-dressed and groomed. The staff are attentive and know the residents in their care. In my role as a church visitor, this is the best home I have visited.

I am impressed by the friendly, welcoming atmosphere, both to me and those I attend.
It would be no exaggeration to say that staff behave not just as salaried persons, but also as those with a calling. (P.S. I am a regular volunteer.)
