It took 2yrs to finally get my Mum into a Care Home and Riverside Care Home just ticks all the boxes for us.
We were given a list of 10x Care Homes in Aberdeen area and looked at all the reviews, reports etc and visited 4 and Riverside was by far the best.
Just the energy in this care home with
the wonderful staff and great leadership all of whom you can see enjoy and are proud of taking care of the Patients.
In just 2 days my mum settled into the home with the warm welcome she received. The care home has so much to offer with actvities etc and well supported.
It's great to see my mum smiling again and know that she is in very good hands. Thanks to all at Riverside Care Home :-)

I find my mother has everything she needs to be happy and comfortable. The staff are very caring and compassionate. I feel very happy that she is well looked after and I have no concerns about her care.

We were so happy with the care mum received in Riverside care home. It was a weight off our minds that we did not have to worry about her eating or drinking. She went in having to use her Zimmer, and her mobility increased, she was able to walk unaided. The activities are appropriate, her favourite
being the singing and dancing which she joined in with great enthusiasm. All the staff were so caring. It was the right thing to do for mum and the 10 months she was there made all the difference.

My father was admitted to this care home for a short time due to illness. We fell in love with Riverside at our initial meeting with the Manager. He was very informative with us, gave us a tour of the building and gave us all the time we needed to ask questions, he was incredibly knowledgeable and
he put us at ease at a difficult time for the family. Unfortunately, my father was only a resident for 2 weeks, however in this short spell the manager and his staff attended to my father's needs with 100% respect, dignity and calmness. All staff members we experienced treated my father as a long-term resident and were very accommodating to us as a family. They met all my father's needs in all his care as well as his nursing needs. The home itself was clean, tidy and very friendly, nothing was too much for any of the staff. Our family have nothing but high ratings for this gorgeous nursing home, it was like a 5* hotel. Thank you to the manager and his lovely experienced team.

My father stayed at Riverside for 11 months, during this time he received outstanding care. The Riverside team were attentive, kind and patient. He was cared for in the Gairn Suite, and I would like to give particular thanks to three members of staff, in particular, for all they did for my dad.

Our dad was at Riverside for just a few short weeks before he passed away but, in those few weeks, we saw a level of care, kindness and compassion at every turn that was both remarkable and a real comfort to us all, particularly Mum who really struggled in that final period of his decline. The
humanity and tenderness displayed by every member of staff to someone they had so little time to get to know and who could do so little and give so little back in his final days, speaks so highly of everyone at Riverside.
His room was simple, with a lovely view, and provided all that he needed and he never wanted for anything. But what makes all the real difference were his carers - these people are five star and we were never anything other deeply impressed by the heart-warming affection that they universally displayed to both him and us.
We cannot thank the team highly enough and are so pleased that we chose Riverside to make Dad’s final days so comfortable.
