My husband has only been in the home for a few weeks and I was worried he would not settle down. However, due to the care provided and friendliness of the staff I did not need to worry.
The only comment I have is that I would prefer dinner to be more substantial than sandwiches and soup.

The care that was given to my mother was fantastic. She was only in Ashtonleigh for a week, but the staff made us feel as if we had been there a long time. The management should be very proud of their staff; everyone was very welcoming.

Amazing staff, can't do enough for us as a family. Everyone incredibly kind and friendly! Can't thank them enough for my mum's care.

A very happy place with lovely staff. I always feel very welcome when I visit my dad. I know that he is being well looked after.

My mum originally went into the Care Home for respite care, and we were so happy and comfortable with the environment that she is now in full-time care. The ethos of the home really stands out, with a caring and inclusive team, plenty of entertainment, and a strong focus on meeting individual needs.
They also know how to throw a great party - be sure to go if you ever get the chance!
The only area I think could be improved is the furniture in some of the rooms, which doesn't quite match the high standard of the care and service provided.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this Care Home. You won't be disappointed, and you're sure to leave with a smile after visiting.

My husband was here for over 3 years. It has kept improving for care and activities.
They were so good and caring when my husband was dying, to him, to me, his wife, and daughters, lovely staff.

Great home fantastic staff my dad's been in the care home since mum passed away with was his main career lovely atmosphere very informational on each of his requirements cleaning laundry fantastic care staff wonderful reception and administrator fantastic managers very well to work with best by by
far is the activities team all different types of activities my dad enjoys bingo quizzes bitter off gardening floristry baking trips out that keeps he's dementia at bay with activities and keep his brain active.

He was very receptive and seemed content in the surroundings. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. He loved the food he was given. All in all, I felt very welcome, and he is clearly getting a very good experience here. Thank you. Tomorrow is his birthday, and they are baking a cake
especially for him.

Ashtonleigh is a lovely home. The staff are friendly and take excellent care of the residents. Today they brought a beautiful cake to my mother's birthday party and had set out a lovely table for tea. The atmosphere is of a warm and welcoming family. My mother is very happy there.

Very good, cleanliness good. Mum's birthday, all staff made a very memorable day for her, with them all singing 'happy birthday' to her. They decorated her room & everyone was so kind.

I always find all the staff very helpful, friendly and professional. Most members of staff have time to sit and talk to Dad. Dad has been encouraged to join in activities and enjoyed. If there are any incidents with Dad I am notified straight away. I am pleased to know Dad is being well looked after
and staff are patient with him.

I am more than happy with the care my Mum has received at Ashtonleigh. She's well cared for and knowing she's safe is so good to know. She enjoys all the activities and the girls are so good with her. The overall environment is so lovely and everywhere well looked after. Thank you everyone.

My mother has been in Ashtonleigh since August 2022. The staff are always friendly and support mum well as her health declines. They do their best to include her in the organised activities and make sure that she is out of bed as much as possible during the day. I also find that the contact I
have with the home is prompt and efficient.

Ashtonleigh has been home to my mum for over two years , she is cared for exceptionally well her daily life is enriched now she is there .
The staff are all so kind , caring and in touch with her needs . A totally home environment where she has entertainment, fun and lots of activities with
wonderful staff ensuring never a dull moment. Along with a lovely room the whole place is clean in every way . Freshly decorated regularly . Great food , and I would thoroughly recommend to anyone to bring a loved one there . The manager and his team work so hard to create this wonderful place for the residents benefit. They work with you and ensure everything my mum needed is achieved to the best they possibly can. We as a family are so grateful and have no worries at all .

My husband has been at Ashtonleigh for over 5 years. He went just before COVID struck and with help from members of the entertainment team telling him what I was saying I was able to see him and talk to him

All of the staff are very caring, and having nursing staff at hand is very reassuring. The availability of organised activities is so important, particularly where a resident is mostly confined to bed and unable to share in group activities. Spending time with residents in that way and getting to
know them makes a big difference to the quality of care.
