The staff are always very helpful and always have the best interests and welfare of the residents as their priority. Always there to sort out any concerns we may have.

The staff all offer their love and care to my mum. They go above and beyond. It is more than just a job for them.
There is a low staff turnover as the staff are working in a positive environment.
They offer good facilities, excellent food and varied entertainment.
My mum is really happy here.

My mother-in-law is so fortunate to have received such outstanding care from the staff at Caldene Rest Home. The brilliant manager leads an amazing team of professional but incredibly friendly people. There is such a wonderful calm, warm atmosphere here. A sincere welcome is always given. My
mother-in-law is cared for beautifully with respect and dignity. There's always something going on - fun activities, dancing, singing - everyong is encouraged to take part to their ability. The time, care and support is above and beyond here. Thank you.

I am so grateful for the care given to my mother and family. The staff are amazing led by an outstanding manager. The staff maintain very high standards and care. The activities are fabulous, everyone joins in. The rest home ensures that everyone is treated with respect and dignity. Thank you very

I find you very good and clean, tidy, real helpful. You look after my dad real good. He is clean and tidy and that makes me real happy.

My aunty has been in this home for several years and I can honestly say she has been treated with nothing but kindness, compassion and respect regardless if she is having a good or bad day. The staff are amazing and genuinely care for all the residents, would thoroughly recommend this home.

I've been pleased with the consistency of care for my mum, the enthusiasm of the activity coordinator, and the kindness of the other staff. The manager communicates well with us. As a family, we are always made to feel welcome and contributing to Mum's care, thank you!

Although fairly basic the most important service was the quality of care given to the residents. It is very evident that the staff try to meet the needs of residents with respect and patience. They seem very well cared for physically and as far as possible emotionally. Visitors are welcomed and
their comments responded to. We have no hesitation with recommending this home to supple the essential care needed.

We had to find emergency care for my dad who has Alzheimer's. Caldene Rest Home were able to take him the same day and were very obliging. The staff were wonderful in helping him to settle in and looking after him. They developed a good relationship with him and made him feel safe at a very
difficult time.
Would highly recommend.

At all times, I have found staff extremely helpful, supportive and do the utmost to make the residents feel well cared for and happy in their environment going beyond expected standards.

My wife came here 15th August 2024, she settled in comfortably in no time at all, thanks to the staff who looked after my wife with care and attention. After a few weeks until her medication was sorted, my wife had a difficult time at Caldene, but with love and care and correct medication, she is
now a fully settled resident who is happy to live there.

Looking after my mother-in-law very well indeed, given that she now has quite serious dementia issues. She has benefitted from being moved away from her flat to the home in many ways, not least in that she now has 24-hour care.

The most caring staff - feels like family. They take care of my father's non-health needs. The only improvement could be the communication of health needs and also occasionally not realising the seriousness of health issues. Food and drinks are very good for Father. Rooms were kept clean and
sufficient independence was given. Overall amazing home especially for the price but could just focus on my health needs a little more.

The staff are very helpful and polite. The home is very clean and tidy. My friend is always clean and tidy when I visit him.

This is a lovely care home. I feel that my mom is taken great care of. She's happy, clean and well looked after. The staff are fantastic, always keep me informed of any problems or worries about her being there. Highly recommend.

As always, I find Caldene Rest Home to be outstanding in the care of my relative. The home is always clean and warm and she is always well dressed and washed and well fed. She, herself, says she is well looked after.
Although I don't go into the main rooms of the home any staff that I do come into
contact with are friendly and helpful.

The staff are very helpful to my brother and myself if I have any concerns about my brother's illness they are always there to speak to me about it, my brother is difficult sometimes but they always have the knack to handle him and we are always made to feel welcome when we go there by all members
of staff and are always prompt on any issues that arise so I thank you all very much for the job you are all doing.

Although still not able to enter the main building it always appears clean and neat. Staff are friendly and willing to talk and answer our questions. Although due to her dementia we are not able to converse with her, she appears comfortable and cared for.
