Where do I start? My husband's health deteriorated very swiftly during the last few months but he was given the most dedicated care by the staff at Grove Court.
The end, when it came, was peaceful, calm and dignified. The family and I were treated with immense kindness and respect by all the
staff, for which we are so grateful.
My husband was a resident for six years and I shall miss everyone there as so many had become friends.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Grove Court.

Our family has four birthdays in November and we wanted my husband (who is a resident receiving nursing care on Care Base 1) to be able to part of the celebrations for his son, his daughter and two small grandsons. I am so grateful to the staff at Grove Court - especially the kitchen staff - who
helped make it possible. My husband could be with us in his wheelchair. We had the Whistock lounge to ourselves for our pre-selected Sunday lunch and pudding was a beautiful and enormous birthday cake celebrating all four family members.
These personal moments help to keep us united as a family in our love for my husband - thank you Grove Court for making it possible.

This short stay reinforced my two visits, that this is a very well run home with a most pleasing atmosphere of calm efficiency. My room was very near to the dining room which was always set-up with imaculate white cloths and papkins and lovely fresh flowers daily. I joined in to talk with residents,
early on. Food was well balanced (lists of menus for nearly all meals were in the room) breakfast was a real joy, the gentleman in charge made it such a pleasurable experience it was even more so when the 107 yr old lady appeared and livened things up!! Altogether, with the beautiful garden and summer house I really look forward to living there next year.

Was fortunate enough to get my Dad into this home and all I can say is they really deserve their 'Outstanding' rating! Exceptional, compassionate care was provided throughout. The food was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Really was a huge relief to know he was so well looked after.

My Brother has now been in Grove Court for a little over 3 weeks. Family are really pleased with how he has settled in, he is so content. The Home / Staff have made him feel so welcome, also family and friends when visiting. Despite his health challenges, he is looking really well. His complexion /
skin is so much better. The Care is fantastic. Also the Food. Grove Court is a shining all round example of how Living and Care should be delivered.

Such attentive and wonderfully friendly staff. My mother-in-law tells us that they have been going above and beyond.
She is very comfortable in her quiet room and she loves the food a lot.
The atmosphere around the home is always calm when we visit. And I'm so impressed with the range of leisure
activities on offer - something for everyone.
Thank you to all of the wonderful team! We're so reassured knowing that my mother-in-law is being so well cared for and that she's content.

My siblings and I were filled with relief when we found Grove Court for our mother. It's been an absolute blessing to know she's in such a caring and supportive environment.
From the moment we first walked through the doors, we were impressed by the warmth and professionalism of the staff. They
truly go above and beyond to ensure the residents feel at home and are well-cared for. My mother is thriving here-she's happy, engaged in activities, and has made some wonderful friends.
What really sets Grove Court apart is the personalized attention each resident receives. The staff take the time to understand individual needs and preferences, creating a truly supportive and nurturing atmosphere. Knowing our mother is not only safe but also happy and stimulated has lifted a huge weight off our shoulders. We couldn't be more grateful for the exceptional care she's receiving.

We have been overwhelmed by the kindness, support and care that my mother has received at Grove Court since arriving following a fall at home and recovery from a broken hip. Every member of staff treats her with patience, gentleness and cheerfulness, and nothing is ever too much trouble. The meals
are beautifully prepared to be tempting and nutritious and she has quickly regained her appetite and strength.
As well as the five star care, the welcoming atmosphere, beautiful reception rooms and stunning grounds make Grove Court a wonderful place to visit and stay.

The staff at Grove Court have been providing excellent care for my mum for over two years and they haven't put a foot wrong. They not only support mum's extensive nursing requirements with kindness, empathy and compassion but also support my father and indeed our entire family when required. They
exceed expectation regularly and frankly we wouldn't be able to cope without them.

I took care of a friend, over her last 8 years (d.2021). The 2 Suffolk homes were different, one privately owned, and one within a group of institutions. My husband had respite from 2021, occasionally, in 3 different homes.
Now he is a permanent resident, the varied population makes it more like
a home, the food is extremely good, well flavoured meals, with linen tablecloths. The care staff are respectful, gentle, experienced. They are friendly but also professional, monitoring all the time.
Activities are stimulating, with talks, concerts, films, drawing, tasks for the mind and body. By far safer in a community, with connections to the world than living home alone if this is difficult. I can enjoy, and relax as we approach the end. We come to engage with it, gently and quietly.
No organisation of this complexity can be perfect! The staff communicate well at every level in Reception, General Manager, Clinical, Nursing and Carers and Financial, Catering, Cleaning, Gardening and Maintenance.

My father came to stay at Grove Court for respite care. He really enjoyed his stay & we thought that the team were amazing with him & he loved having some good laughs & great care from them. The food looked fabulous and there was a great selection.
The grounds of Grove Court are beautiful and so
well maintained. My father enjoyed watching the birds from his window.
We would certainly love to use the services of Grove Court again & highly recommend them.

My Mum originally came to Grove Court as a "respite" resident to see if she would like living in a supported environment in a care home. She has now transitioned to permanent resident and has nothing but good things to say about the care and environment at Grove Court.
I am also extremely
impressed; care and kindness of the staff, the beautiful surroundings and home itself and the standard of food (most important when encouraging people to eat) is exlemplary.
Yesterday we attended the annual garden party with Mum. It was absolutely wonderful - food, music, table settings, residents staff and guests dressing "the part" a truly wonderful afternoon and massive thanks to all at Grove Court for putting on such a super event, it must have been a massive amount of work.
I also must thank the team for the way they looked after Mum when she fell getting out of bed to use the bathroom in the night. They were with her so quickly and it is such a relief to know she is in such good hands.

We used Grove Court several times over the past year for respite care for my mother who suffers from Parkinson's and extreme anxiety. The staff are professional and caring and we were able to have complete confidence that Mum would be treated with respect and dignity even under difficult
circumstances. It has a unique 'hotel' style atmosphere as opposed to a typical residential care home. It offers a wonderful menu every day and different activities during the week to cater for all tastes. There are numerous places to get away for peaceful times both inside and outside, as well as a lovely central reception area where you can sit and feel part of the comings and goings. Tea/coffee, cakes and fruit are available there all day for residents and their visitors.

I found myself bed bound after some difficulties after spinal surgery and was unable to cope at home.
After discussions it was agreed that they could help albeit an unusual situation as I was only 59 .
I was transported the next day on a spinal board via a private ambulance.
They handled all my
needs for the next ten days eating, medication ,personal hygiene, organised doctor and physiotherapist visits.
With a great deal of care I was able to start getting out of bed with assistance and over the next two weeks I was able to become more independent and after four weeks I walked out of there with the aid of a walking stick back home.
The care I received while I was there was of the highest standard , delivered with respect and a degree of humour which I needed.
I cannot speak highly enough of the care I received from all the people involved and my family and I will be forever grateful for the care I received and we couldn't have coped without them.

My close friend has been a resident at Grove Court for 9 months now. At age 96, the decision for her to enter residential care for the first time was a daunting prospect, as my friend is a very private person. Being encouraged to customise her room with personal items, wall mounted pictures and
furniture most certainly helped her settle. This extraordinary establishment, and I really mean that, did the rest to ease her into this new phase of her life. This doesn't happen by accident of course. I regularly witness, first hand, from all staff members, whatever their role, humanity, patience, tenderness, professionalism, and a devotion to duty directed towards my friend and all other residents. I rest easy knowing my friend is safe, secure, loved, expertly medically supervised, extremely well nourished and supported at Grove Court. The whole place has the relaxed informal feel of a village. Thank goodness we were recommended Grove Court. Thank you all for looking after my friend.

I have made my room into my home with several of my belongings. My basic living needs are well met with caring staff and I no longer have worries regarding home maintenance and servicers.

I cannot fault any aspect of my recent 2-week stay at Grove Court. All the staff were extremely kind, and caring, excellent food and every is beautifully clean. Overall - excellent.

I've been a resident at Grove Court for only six weeks but already I feel it's home. This is partly because I've been able to embellish my room with some furniture, books, and pictures from my old home. And partly because I can choose great three-course meals from a daily changing menu. But it's
mainly because of the comprehensive care provided by the dedicated staff. All of them - carers, nurses, admin, chefs, hostesses, handymen, gardeners - work together as a team to provide the best possible service to the residents. More than that, they engage with residents in a friendly manner that makes us all feel part of the same flourishing community. That's a great achievement by imaginative and devoted managers.

Grove Court has proved to be a wonderful home for my father. It's really hard to move from your own place with all your things around you, to a place full of strangers and unfamiliar systems. Everyone, and I mean everyone, at Grove Court has been welcoming, kind, attentive to my dad's needs, warm
and very human! The care is exemplary and the atmosphere is lovely. We are lucky to have found them and this is the quality of care that every one of us should have when we need it.
