Staff were lovely very professional. Room was big clean and nice and bright and was set up as promised like my mums room at home. Mum ate reasonably well and has been anxious about coming into a care home for the first time, but staff have been understanding, and reassuring her as much as possible, which has been difficult, due to her hearing and sight problems. Thank you so much for looking after her.

From the very first phone call they couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. They have provided our family with support for our father, allowing us the time to make arrangements for his future knowing he is safe whist we get things organised. Every member of staff has been friendly and kind to both my father and family members/visitors. Thank you for helping us at a critical junction in all our lives.

Marwood Residential have been amazing to work with. They have provided such a comfortable home and environment for my Nana. The staff are very warm and friendly and have done a wonderful job accommodating my Nana's wants and needs. I could not recommend it more to someone looking for a comfortable and well run care home for their friend or family member. Marwood Residentail will put your mind at ease.

I am very comfortable that my mother-in-law is being well taken care of at Marwood. The staff are lovely, warm and genuine. I can't be with her as often as I would like to be, and I am grateful that she has somewhere to live that makes her happy and gives me peace of mind.

My mother-in-law is extremly well cared for and has been very happy since she moved here (12 months ago). The staff are lovely and caring. They do a range of activities each week and have visitors in to do arts/crafts, singing etc. I would recommend this care home.

I have been delighted with the care received by Mum at Marwood. She is very well looked after in all aspects of her care. The staff are lovely, friendly and professional. We are always welcome to visit as family members and to spend as much time as we like with our mum. I find it hard to find any fault.

My mother is currently receiving respite care at Marwood Residential Home and I cannot fault the care and compassion she has received. The home is run exceptionally well and all of the staff from the carers to management really care about their residents. My mother has had a couple of medical incidents whilst staying here all of which have been dealt with swiftly, professionally and always with compassion and kindness with her well-being always being of paramount importance Although my mother has not used these facilities the home has a well-appointed dining room and lounge and they also run activities to keep residents engaged. There is also a quiet room with books and jigsaws always on hand. My mother's room is large with plenty of natural light. She was able to bring some items from home which has made it feel really homely. I would not hesitate in recommending Marwood Residential Home and if needed in the future returning my mother to their care. Thank you all.

The last thing we wanted to do was put my granny in a residential/care home, but when the time came we chose Marwood. From the get-go everyone was so friendly, caring and would do anything to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it to be for my granny. The home is clean, warm (air conditioning for warmer months) and very cosy. The staff are incredible and their happiness and smiles don't fade even after the longest days. The food is fantastic with lots of selection and they cater to all needs. There are activities each week, singers that come in and much more. I couldn't recommend Marwood highly enough and feel relief knowing my granny is safe in their hands.

I cannot recommend Marwood more highly. My mum has been a resident here for just over a year and has settled very well. The staff are all very kind, professional and caring. There were lots of festive activities over the Christmas period during which we were made to feel very welcome. It was great seeing Mum so happy. The home was beautifully decorated and there were lots of culinary treats.

Friendly staff. Good food. Clean and tidy. Amenable and approachable staff. Good atmosphere. Lots of activities especially during the festive period. Residents treated with great care and respect. Overall, l would have no reservations in recommending Marwood as a care home.

Kind, considerate staff and excellent management. The staff endeavoured to cater to meal preferences and were cheerful and caring. The home is run by a capable team and I would recommend to anyone looking for a cosy, warm refuge.

Mum has received care tailored to her needs. The staff are friendly and supportive, always welcoming, kind, caring and professional. They have liaised with the hospital when Mum has had recent admissions and welcomed her home each time. The home is nice and clean and warm, the residents all seem quite content and happy. They enjoy the regular activities. The food menu is varied and mum enjoys her meals with the other residents.

It is a great comfort knowing that Mum is cared for at such a high standard. All of the staff are kind, caring, helpful and have a great sense of humour, which suits my mum perfectly. Nothing is too much trouble for them to do. Mum enjoys the food as they have multiple choices. They have a varied activity schedule, we really enjoyed the Christmas party! She is treated with dignity and supported when she needs it. The facilities are good and they are spotless. The management team are always on hand and very helpful if needed. No wonder my mum loves it here!

We have found Marwood to be one of the best care homes in the county. The rooms and lounges are well set out and very homely for residents and visitors. The staff are friendly and always cheerful. Marwood is an east place to work with, we feel lucky to have been able to place mother into their care.

My 89-year-old cousin originally went into Marwood Residential Home for two weeks after a stay in hospital. He was made welcome and looked after well, so much so that he said that if he had the chance he would happily return to Marwood. A couple of weeks later he got that chance and moved in as a permanent resident. Living on his own at home he was very anxious now his anxiety has gone and his health has greatly improved. He now has company around him and all the staff are excellent with him as they are with all the residents. He enjoys the activities and the musical entertainment that they put on. If you are looking for somewhere for a loved one that is homely, friendly, and caring it's Marwood, I can not praise them enough.

My mum lived at Marwood for three years until recently passing and in all this time she has received the best of care in all respects and the staff went over and above following her recent stroke and death. I would highly recommend anyone who is thinking of placing a relative in care to look at Marwood for care as they will be very well cared for.
