John attends the Alzheimer's daycare and enjoy everything about it staff, activities etc. John attending gives me a day to catch up with things, as he needs my care and attention every day. I also meet up with people in the dame boat as me which really helps. I would highly recommend Rose Cottage.

My husband who has Alzheimer's attended the Day Care facility at Rose Cottage for about 3 years. He always enjoyed his time there as is very social. The staff were very friendly and helpful. He has only stopped going now as his health has deteriorated and he doesn't have the stamina. I would highly
recommend the Day Care facility.

My husband has Alzheimer's and attended day care sessions at Rose Cottage for about a year. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and he always enjoyed his time there. He didn't remember being there before, so each visit was like the first time and he was a little unsure going in, but he
always came out happy, in fact sometimes it was difficult to get him to leave! The staff were very caring and I would definitely recommend

My mother went for respite in Rose Cottage Broughton, and I cannot thank the staff enough, each and every one of you there has been absolutely brilliant, in activities, music, crafting, singing, and especially cared for. You girls are 1 in a million. Thank you for making my mum's week so fun, and
kind and caring. You are all the best.

From the first moment I set foot in Rose Cottage it felt different to any of the other homes I visited when trying to find a home for mum. It was warm, friendly and welcoming and it hasn't disappointed in the 12 months since. All the staff are great and they seem to make a real effort with
activities which mum enjoys.

Rose Cottage is a place that lives out its ethos of care, compassion and love. The staff and residents have excellent relationships that reflect that ethos every day. I cannot speak too highly of this exemplary care home.

Mum became a resident at Rose Cottage after being in hospital for over a month after a fall. She could no longer live independently, so we looked for a care home close by us. We were pointed in the direction of Rose Cottage, what a place! Staff were amazing, nothing to much trouble for them,
friendly smiling faces. Mum was on a dementia unit, looked after by some wonderful staff. Cannot knock this place, everyone was brilliant. Sadly Mum passed away but she had been cared for by some wonderful people who are passionate about their job. Thank you so much, we will be eternally grateful for all your help and support during a very tough time.
Many thanks.

Mum is safe + appears content. This alone means a lot to us. She is dressed well and always clean. Staff always are happy and busy with activities for residents. She eats well and regularly. Drinks can sometimes be an issue as she needs prompting to drink. She loves, company but doesn't always want
to mix and needs encouragement. Staff are excellent.

Mum has been a resident since early 2023, her care has been exceptional. From day one. Mum has full capacity and knows exactly who she wants, and when! This has caused a few little hiccups with one or two staff, however most of the staff/carers are very accommodating and love "gossiping" with mum. A
lot of the carers have worked there a long while, and now their children also work there - its a lovely little family where they treat everyone as individuals. If you want a homely, family care home, this is the place for you.

I have both parents residing in RC one in each unit. The care delivered is excellent, carers have good rapport with all they encounter and standards are consistently good with all staff members. Communication is excellent and frequent across all mediums. I have every confidence that my parents
receive high quality holistic care and myself and my family are always welcomed. I feel we work in partnership to achieve the best outcomes for my parents.

Mum has lived at Rose cottage for over a year and is very happy there. The staff are great, always caring and compassionate. The setting is lovely, out in the countryside and all on one floor.
I would highly recommend Rose cottage.

I get the very strong sense that the whole approach and ethos of Rose Cottage of both its management and its carers is one that has the care, safety and the well being of the residents as the very top priority.
The devoted and friendly caring staff really to do care about the residents and look
after them with all the dignity and respect I would want to for my father.
It is good to know that my father is very well looked after, is safe and comfortable. Most important is what my father thinks and he says he is very happy and content at Rose Cottage. We both could not ask for more.
The only gripe is the very limited parking for resident visitors. The car park seems to be always full and rarely is there a space on site. That said, the village hall which is right next door has parking spaces.

My mother has been a resident of Rose Cottage since August 2024. Under the care and encouragement she receives from the staff she is thriving and very happy. It is a blessing to our family to see her so well looked after and gives us great peace of mind.

My mother in law transferred to Rose Cottage as she was becoming unhappy at the residential home she was at. We couldn't ask for better care for her as we live a few hours away.
We are kept up to date with her needs and progress, receive timely emails and calls when needed and the staff are always
accommodating, friendly and caring.
My mother in law is so much happier now, enjoying the activities and the other residents company.

My mum went to Rose Cottage after being discharged from hospital on a palliative care plan. The care at the home was so good that mum lived there for just over 2 years. Throughout this time mum was looked after with great care, even though at times she could be very tricky and quite a forceful
character. The staff always treated her with compassion and dignity, always engaging with both her and myself. I can't thank all the staff enough for the care they gave my mum, especially towards the end when she became very poorly. During this sad period, the couple of days I spent with my mum were made more bearable by the staff allowing me to be with her at all times, nothing was too much trouble for them. I cherish the 2 extra years I had with my mum due to the wonderful care all staff at Rose Cottage gave her, I will especially remember sitting by the pond with mum having a cup of team and cake.

My aunts health had deteriorated at the end of last year, so I started researching care homes for her. My aunt was very sure she wanted to stay in her own home so she was added to the waiting list and invited to attend community sessions. She has now been attending these for a few months and
although not ready to move in, admits she enjoys attending and is happy to go again. The staff are very kind and go the extra mile to make sure everyone is happy and have all they need. It has been really good for my aunt to spend time with people of her generation and have time out enjoying the different activities.

My husband has Alzheimer's and has attended activity sessions at Rose Cottage since January 2025.
He really enjoys his days at Rose Cottage.
From my first visit I was taken with the welcoming and homely atmosphere. The staff are caring , supportive and accommodating to both my husband and myself.
I feel I can relax knowing he is in a safe, supported and enjoyable setting.

My Mum lived at Rose Cottage for nearly three years. The care throughout that time was excellent, but was particularly so in the last few weeks of her life. The staff were amazing and all aspects of her care were delivered with great compassion and dignity. As a family, we were also looked after
beautifully which enabled us to spend those last precious weeks without any concerns apart from looking after and being with Mum.

We visited Rose Cottage over a year ago. My Dad was very impressed with the service but did not feel ready to move. Dad's name was placed on a waiting list. We were both impressed with the attitude and philosophy of Rose Cottage. Later, I supported Dad at Rose Cottage where he was welcomed to attend
activity sessions. A room became available and Dad had a six-week trial which was reassuring to him. Dad stayed. We as a family were extremely impressed with the whole of the service, everything about it is positive - staff are so caring and put the resident at the centre of their approach. Nothing is too much trouble. At Dad's first care review, he said "Well it's like paradise really". Personally, I have had an exceptionally positive experience at Rose Cottage and I would recommend it. We are truly grateful for the care, support, and understanding that Dad receives on a daily basis. Lastly, there is lots of fun and laughter at Rose Cottage - my Dad loves the conversations he has with staff.

From my first visit to Rose Cottage managers and staff were welcoming and supportive, encouraging us to visit regularly with Mum to help develop familiarity with the setting prior to a room becoming available. Mum moved in over two years ago now. We were impressed with the support offered to Mum to
help her settle in her new home, especially to me as I initially found the transition from full-time carer back to daughter a challenge. We feel that residents are looked after with love and kindness and treated with respect and dignity. Staff are friendly, open, considerate, and helpful and visitors are welcome. The activities team offers a range of activities throughout the week, catering to the different interests and needs of residents. As a regular visitor, I enjoy supporting the activities Mum joins in with as this gives us quality time doing something together. Mum's experience at Rose Cottage is positive and we are very grateful for the love and care she is shown daily.
