My opinions are based on visits at the weekend on weekend on monthly visits to my mum. The staff are kind, caring and residents and visitors are treated with the utmost respect. As a visitor, I am made to feel most welcome and often taken aside for little updates on my mother's general wellbeing.
As someone that lives a distance away from my mum, I really appreciate the email updates about her and the updates on her activities that show how well she is being stimulated during the week.

Staff are always very friendly, welcoming and communicative.
Staff have supported us all with the transition from home to Heaton House.
They have taken time to get to know our family member and how she can be supported.
There is a good variety of activities throughout the week, which our family
member engages with and enjoys.
Our family member seems to be content and settled.

Mum was adamant she didn't want to go into a home - "it would finish her off." Two years on, she is happy and comfortable. The staff are skilled with dealing with the eccentricities of dementia and exhibit great patience; going the extra mile to entice Mum to eat and drink. Instead of sitting on her
own all day, Mum is now keen to occupy 'her' chair in the lounge with the other residents. I am able to go home knowing she is in safe and caring hands.

My mum has now been in Heaton House Care Home for 18 months and is doing very well. I am delighted with the care and attention my mum is receiving. My mum is brighter now than when she first went in and is very happy. The care home has lots of activities and things for my mum to do. She loves the
crafting sessions and the new male singer. The staff are so friendly and helpful to encourage my mum to take part and enjoy each different day. Cleanliness and food are outstanding, and you always get a smile when you visit.

Mum is at the last stage of her dementia journey; she is so well cared for by staff who know her really well. Although she can't talk much, she recognises the ladies who care for her. I see Mum and talk to her every week and realise she is in the best place until she passes.
Since arriving at
Heaton House over 4 years ago, Mum has had the best treatment and support.

My mother has resided at Heaton House for nearly four years, and the management and staff have supported her brilliantly throughout this time. The beauty of this home is that it is not too big and the staff employed know mum's needs so well. Mum feels safe and secure at Heaton House. She enjoys all
the activities supplied. Her ensuite room is very comfortable, and the meals provided are always tasty and to a high standard. Would definitely recommend to others. Thank you HH.

My mother has been resident at Heaton House for nearly four years now, and I think she is in the best place for her. Staff have been consistently kind and friendly, and sensitive to her needs, which have changed over her time in the home. The feelings of belonging to a family is reinforced, for me,
by regular contact with other residents and their relatives at various events over the year. I know that mum is really well cared for by genuine, kind people.

Heaton house is home from home. We always feel very welcomed. Every member of staff is exemplary. Mum is happy and exceptionally well looked after. Communication is excellent. It's a great weight off us to know mum is safe, happy and well looked after.

This care home is really like a home from home and they go above and beyond to care for my mum with dignity and respect. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend people consider Heaton House where the team are so welcoming to my family.

My mother had to go to another home rather quickly due to her falling and needing more specific care. I was a nurse for over 40 years myself and now a ' Heath Coach' who knows about good care. My mum is 91 and has truly been blessed to have such excellent care from the moment she arrived. Heaton
House really is a family and the staff are so caring and kind. The owner and managers are very professional and although its early days I hope mums stay continues to be as happy as it is now.

Our family are very happy with the diligent care and attention Mum has received since she first arrived at Heaton House in 2022. Everyone goes out of their way to make residents feel it is "their home".

Thank you to all the staff who made Christmas Day so special for everyone. The atmosphere was warm and festive with decorations, crackers, carols and a lovely meal cooked. Mum certainly appreciated all your efforts as, I am sure, did all of the ladies.

I come here every Wednesday to visit a friend. I have been around lots of care homes, I find this one by far the best for the level of care of the residents and friendliness. The premises are always well maintained and clean and tidy. I am always made to feel welcome with a cup of coffee and
homemade cake. I do and would recommend this care home to anyone.

My mother has been at Heaton House for 6 years. They have provided loving, caring and professional support. The staff are genuinely friendly and caring - lovely. The registered managers run an amazing care home. Which has been been so needed and gone out of their way to give us both many happy
memories. They have done for my mother and I what we couldn't do. I am so grateful for them and my mum too.

I feel that I am very well looked after. The staff are kind and caring and take the time to talk to me as well as meet my caring needs. I enjoy the food - it is good. Cleanliness is good. I am happy here - it feels like home.

My mother has been a resident at Heaton House for almost three years and is very happy here. The staff are amazing and always go above and beyond to keep the residents happy, comfortable and entertained.
My mum always likes to look her best, and the staff assist her every day with her hair and
make-up as they know this is important to her. Her room is lovely and home, and the whole place is spotless.

The care home takes very good care of my mother. They keep me informed of any changes n Mum's health by email. The staff are friendly and helpful. My mum seems very happy here.

My mum loves it here. She is so happy. The staff are wonderful, caring and keep me updated with any changes in care or Mum's health. The food is lovely and Mum has put on weight since she's been here at Heaton House. Her room is full of her personal stuff and beautifully decorated.

Heaton house is home from home. We always feel very welcomed. Every member of staff is exemplary. Mum is happy and exceptionally well looked after. Communication is excellent. It's a great weight off us to know mum is safe, happy and well looked after.
