As always, my overall review is that the home is ran very well and the care the staff show the residents is amazing! My only concern is that sometimes my mum does not have her own clothes on. This is better now because I take my mum's clothes home to wash, and this is much better. The staff do an

All staff were very welcoming from day one. My step dad is always treated with kindness and respect. The staff go above and beyond for all his needs. I would definitely recommend Abermill to anyone.

The staff are second to none, always empathetic, warm, and friendly. The care of the residents are uppermost as far as these girls and men are concerned. Always some form of entertainment for the residents and family members to attend. Never have any doubts that this care home is run with the utmost
love and care. I, and my wife Elaine can sleep at night, knowing, my Mother-in-law, Eileen, is in the capable hands of this wonderful staff.

I feel my mother has been well looked after and cared for since arriving at Abermill Care Home. She seems content and there's always activities going on at the home to keep her occupied.

My mam has settled really well. I as a daughter am more than happy with my mams care. The staff are all so professional and caring. I love to get involved myself with the activities. Movement to music was a great way to exercise. Christmas time was magical for the residents I myself dressed up as an
elf ( naughty one) and the residents loved it. Keep up the good work Abermill, need to book my room .

My mum has been a resident at abermill for 4 years now and the care she receives go above and beyond.
They have lots of activities for my mum to take part in and the Christmas party was amazing

My mam bev has been in abermill at least 3 years. She's very settled and always happy. There's always activities going on and theme days. The home is very inviting with staff and friendly. My mam always looks smart and tidy. She always tells me she's happy and says this is my home and family too.
They have helped my mam with her confidence and health is much better.

Really nice atmosphere in home. All staff are friendly and supportive. Present when an activity was taking place - seated movement to music, residents were supported and encouraged to take part. Brother-in-Law is always well dressed, clean and well groomed. The home is clean and nicely decorated,
and all furniture is in good order. Regular social events are planned, and residents engage in crafts and cookery activities. Very happy with care provided.

It is a happy place to be at the end of one's life. Care is very good. Day staff care for the residents as if they were family. Activities and entertainment are well thought out. I have been here 11 months and am well satisfied.

I visit my nan every week, and she is always clean and tidy, there is loads of different activities she can do, and they change every week, which is great also, its nice to see she can have her hair and nails done.

All the day staff are excellent. Cleaners and kitchen staff. It's always very clean and smells nice. Night staff are not so good.

I cannot thank the staff and management enough for the care they give to my husband. They're are always smiling faces whenever I visit.

I recently attended a cancer function at my friends home. staff were amazing and the food very welcoming. The icing in the cake was when a person received an award for her help on a daily basis. We were all very proud and her daughter was in tears with pride. Thank you all to who organised. Thank
you for everything you do for the residents.

Our whole experience of Abermill has been absolutely incredible. Both my grandparents have settled in very quickly. I can only put this down to the amazing staff at Abermill. Who are all genuine, approachable and friendly whilst maintaining professionalism. The home itself has a positive, warm,
welcoming energy. Staff and residents are like one big family. You can see staff take pride in what they do, as this most definitely shines in the residents. As far as I'm concerned, and as far as care is concerned, Abermill is a jewel, and I feel very fortunate my grandparents are residents here.

Amazing staff that go above and beyond for the residents. They have their best interests at heart and make it a special place to live. Very professional and feel safe that my mother-in-law is well cared for.

Honestly, I have never seen my mother so happy and looked after by all the amazing staff at AberMill. My mother lived alone for many years and she became a recluse - she went from being a social butterfly to not wanting to see anyone, sleeping the days away and not wanting any interaction from
anyone. She has been in AberMill for a few years now and what a difference in her - she's back to living her best life and loving every minute at this wonderful Care Home. Words can not express how grateful and how at ease I am now, knowing she's entertained, taken care of but most importantly, loved. Thank you to each member of this amazing Team. Absolutely wonderful.

I love coming to visit my Nan and seeing how happy she is. They constantly put entertainment on for the residents and my Nan loves being part of it all. She is always laughing and joking with all the staff there and they love her. The staff are fantastic there and my Nan is back to smiling and
laughing and we love it. My Nan speaks about all the staff there like they are family. Thank you so much for looking after her x

I cannot thank the staff at Abermill Care Home enough for the care they provide to my Dad. It was a difficult decision to hand over care but we know he is in safe hands. Special mention to one carer who spotted a medication error made by the hospital, my dad would have been seriously ill otherwise.
There have been really good activities and parties that have been organised well. Christmas was particularly good. Huge thanks to all the staff, too many to mention who have made my Dad's stay so great. Thank you.

Not a lot I can say. My overall experience has been very good. The one problem I had was dealt with dignity and sorted almost instantly.
