My mother was admitted to this care home in February 2025. We, Tom and myself, are very pleased and contented with the care she is receiving. This gives us contentment and peace of mind. We are very pleased and happy. Thanks for all your help.

Excellent care - very friendly, kind carers/nurses, activity co-ordinator, Donna, is so caring to mum, provides regular updates on how mum is doing, and uses her warmth and skills to encourage mum to participate in activities. Feel rooms could be updated, very basic for funding/costs.

Carers are excellent, mum is comfortable with them. Good rapport. Mum is content here. Prompt response to any queries raised. Prompt action with mum's chest pains last night. Food provided is good. Entertainment and activities good. Rooms could be better, decorated? Cleaner?

My dad has been a resident here since Feb 25, and I must say it's lovely. The staff are lovely and really make the place what it is. From reception to the nurses to the activities. They care so much for the people in here and try to make their stay as comfortable and enjoyable for them as possible.

My mum is treated well, and settled. The staff are very good.

Always found staff very polite & understanding. The wife is well cared for by all staff & the staff are always ready & willing to help when asked. The home is always nice clean & tidy looking well kept.

Had a rocky start when mum moved in but now everything seems ok. My mum does miss a cigarette. Staff seem very pleasant and room is ok!

The staff are welcoming every time I visit with my son. They check in on mum regularly during our visits and let us know about facilities available to mum and her grandson during our visit. My son has enjoyed sitting with grandmum in the garden. One staff member in particular is great with all the residents and another two members of staff have become friends with mum.

The home is lovely and very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Meals look nice and wife is happy and healthy she is well looked after.

I have witnessed a delightful 2 weeks at the Stamford Nursing Home, I can now rest in the knowledge that all members of staff are truly dedicated to the residents as there is a family atmosphere. The overall opinion I have of Stamford Nursing Home is excellent in all areas as follows, hygiene, food, entertainment and encouragement prompt and reassurance is always present. I am truly grateful that my husband has been accepted and is extremely well looked after in all departments of his daily living.

I find the staff very caring and I am happy with the love and care that they show mum. She happy and settle in very well.

My brother appears to have settled in well. He is well cared for and his needs met. He is happy in his environment and his medical situation is monitored constantly. The staff are very caring and the environment provided is good. Outings away from the home I feel, would be beneficial and more weekend family/friends gatherings would be appreciated.

Staff are always freidnly and approachable. Mum is very relaxed and happy.

My mother has been a resident here for nearly a year. We are very happy with the care and attention she has been receiving. The staff are very patient and attentive to her every needs. I don't think we could have looked after or cared for my mother any better ourselves if she were living with us. I visit her very frequently - every other day - and when I leave her after my visit, I know that she is in good hands and don't worry about her.
