A few more staff on duty would be beneficial, weekends and mealtimes especially. Room cleaning is fairly superficial and could be more thorough. With no proper dedicated cook, meals are pre prepared frozen plates, not home cooked. My mother is not keen. For the high fees paid something better would
be in order.

Despite resent senoir management changes I've been highly empressed with the professionalism, consistently and dedication of the frontline care team. Their care has not faultered and they continue to provide the highest quality provision with nothing but the needs of the residents at the forefront
of their prorities. They engage in their duties with warmth, compassion and always a smile. I'm grateful to all of the Kent House team for all they care they provide not only to my mother in law but to me as a family member.

Since Mother has become a resident at Kent House I feel it was the best decision for her. She has received excellent care, made new friends and appears happy and always in good spirits. The staff are kind and friendly and are so positive in dealing with mothers dementia.

My mum enjoys listening to the singer who comes to sing at Kent House & regularly attends when she comes. She also has a good relationship with the staff - who are very friendly & the manager. My mum's room is fairly light & airy & is a good size. It is always clean when my dad & I visit.

My mother came into Kent House in November 2024. I have been most impressed with the care and dignity that she is receiving and although now bed bound, she is relaxed, clean and comfortable. The staff have helped her through the stressful change of life circumstance into full time care with the
utmost sympathy & empathy which was also given to me & the rest of the family, giving us peace of mind.

The home is lovely, very friendly and the staff have lots of patience. Nothing is too much trouble. The Deputy is very kind and knowledgeable that goes for all the staff. The manager is an amazing manager, a brilliant lady, 100% amazing, kind and a great listener.

Kind, caring and friendly team in all aspects who take time to get to know the residents, working and adapting to the medical needs of individual residents which is no easy task and, for my relative in particular, is very much appreciated by the family.

Our mother came into Kent House, very unwell and under weight. Over the months she has had remarkable care. Due to restoring her weight and, most of all, her quality of life. Nothing is too much for the staff and we thank them very much for their dedication.

My mother came to Kent House because she was no longer safe in her flat because she kept falling and was then unable to walk. Her eyesight, due to wet macular, was also failing. The staff were very good at informing my mother what was happening and helping her. The manager kept me up to date as to
my mother's progress or any issues that arose and was very helpful in arranging any visits from family where more space was needed eg: 92nd Birthday. My mother has settled well, I visit twice a week and the staff are friendly and polite. My mother always looks well cared for.

Much easier now in terms of visiting. My brother seems well settled and loved by staff members and really enjoys the singing and days out in the minibus.

I telephoned Kent House to visit my sister-in-law in an hours time and promptly the door was answered and my temperature taken. My sister-in-law was in the lounge. I escorted her to another room where we opened a present and ate a chocolate each, then played dominoes which we enjoyed. She had not
lost her love for a game, although not played since before COVID. I am very satisfied with her care.
I can not provide ratings on food, activities, safety or value for money.
