My friend has been a resident at Hillside for about 6 months. I visit regularly. I've met a number of the staff as I have responsibilities towards the resident.
Everyone I have met has been responsive and friendly. They have also been proactive, phoning me up as necessary.
Their interaction with
residents is warm and caring.
The manager is a very good example of this.
The facilities are very good - many more common spaces than in my friend's previous care home.
I would recommend Hillside. Go and see it and, above all, meet some of the people.

I am thoroughly impressed by every aspect of my experience at Hillside. The care and support provided to residents was outstanding, with everyone treated with genuine care, respect and dignity. Staff members were consistently professional, attentive and supportive, creating a warm and reassuring
environment.
Management stood out as outstanding, delivering clear leadership and a well organised operation that prioritizes residnets well-being.
Overall, the home delivers exceptional care, a supportive and dignified environment and a high quality of life for its residents.

Being dubious about care homes. Hillside totally eroded any negative thoughts for care for an end of life service. You could not ask for a better set up and the dignity and respect to us all involved was exceptional. We will be ever thankful for Hillsides staff in making our family members last few
weeks of life, comforting and soothing.

When I first visited Hillside Nursing home I didn't know what to expect but, to my great satisfaction I witnessed respect, great personal care, the staff interaction with the Service users is brilliant.
The management provide weekly pastoral care, Christmas party activities which includes raffles
and karaoke. The lounge areas for family and friends to engage with their loved ones are well furnished and clean.
My observation of the medical care provided is also very impressive. The staffing levels are very adequate and consistent, I see the same staff week in week out which can only be good for the residents, another satisfying and reassurance has been the fire drills I have witnessed.
I find the management and staff very engaging and welcoming, always offering you a cup of tea or coffee with a welcoming smile and hello, keep up the great work and care provided.

The care and diligence of staff at Hillside is outstanding. They took time to thoroughly understand all aspects to of Auntie's physical and emotional needs and to provide appropriate care
I have no hesitation in recommending Hillside as a caring, safe place for loved ones living with, or without,
dementia.
Bilgy, the manager, is amazing and went out of her way to accommodate us.

My Dad was fast tracked into Hillside Nursing Home after having many falls at home and spending time in Hospital..From my first vist to see the Nursing home I was so sure this was the place for my father ...he has now been there for 2 months and I can see him a lot happier and settled..All of the
Nursing staff and carers are lovely.
My father has started to enjoy activities that he would never have been involved in before..I would Definitely recommend this to people as a lovely care home .A Big Thankyou to all staff..

I would like to extend my gratitude to Bildy and the team at Hillside who looked after my father in the last few days of his life last week. After a swift move out of Stoke Mandeville hospital we didn;t really know what to expect at short notice, but every single person we met there treated my
father with respect, professionalism and love. No request or question from us was too big or small, and it made the last few days of his life as comfortable and warm as you could wish for. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Bless ya. Jon, Andy and Greta (and Robin)

All the staff are very caring. My step-mother responds well to them all and is happy, relaxed and obviously comfortable due to the standard of care she receives.
She has quite complex needs, yet they are met well by the dedicated staff.

I am visiting my nephew who is completely paralysed, I visit him twice a day as he has no one around to check up on him. Each time I come just randomly
The place is one of the most beautiful and stress free places in uk. The care home is so well equipped and the staff are just amazing people. All
smiling all welcoming all gentle and kind.
My nephew loves it in there and he wishes to stay there forever.
I would for sure this place has changed my views about care homes forever, I hope the rest of the care homes would come and visit this place so they can learn how the care homes should.

I cannot recommend this care home enough. From showing us the rooms available to the very last day when my father sadly passed away they cared for us all not just my father. They made him comfortable and his stay there certainly improved his last weeks of life. I had forgotten how kind people can be
and the staff here are commendable. In particular Andrea showed so much compassion and kindness and helped us through the whole process from start to finish. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I have been made so welcome by all the staff, they are kind, considerate and can't do enough for me. The food is wonderful. I already think of Hillside as home. I feel very safe, secure and happy to be here, it is a privilege. Being so close to town is also great, and I have all the freedom and
independence I need or could ever want. I would recommend this nursing home to anybody.

Visiting my brother who was here for a year , I found the staff extremely helpful and friendly.
To have the patience and to work in places like this is more than difficult. The staff and managers were always available to speak to . The manager could not be more helpful. All the staff deserve
mentions. Well done Hillside .

All staff are polite, friendly, and very helpful.
Pureed food for Mum is pleasant for her.
Staff on the 1st floor where Mum is resident are attentive and nothing is too much trouble.
The overall experience to date is excellent.
Any issues I have are dealt with quickly and efficiently.

My friend is going through a very difficult stage and the staff have demonstrated great patience and kindness consistently. Physical care has been exemplary and tolerance of mental difficulties could not be faulted.

As a friend of the family I thought your versatility was wonderful when extra nights were needed at short notice.
All the staff I met were friendly. It created a nice atmosphere.
