Castle View is a delight to visit, it's always clean and tidy with friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. Have had a couple of Sunday roasts which were delicious. Lovely place to be!

I'm a nurse and visited my best friend's mother last month. I was very impressed with the initial ambiance of Castle View - it smelt so clean. There was a lovely 'buzz' with residents doing chair exercise. My friend's Mom's room was clean & tidy & all the staff I met were friendly, caring &
attentive. I would highly recommend Castle View, it has a lovely caring & friendly air.

My Gran moved to Castle View just under 3 years ago, and I have been consistently impressed by the home during my visits in this time. I have appreciated the opportunity to come in and have lunch with her on several occasions, and also enjoyed having a family gathering for her 90th birthday in one
of the social rooms. There are lots of little touches provided that make a real difference - including the care taken with the art and decor in the shared spaces (particularly the garden room decorations!), as well as the wide range of activities/day trips offered. On all my visits, the staff were lovely and very helpful.

My mother has been a resident at Castle View for 2 1/2 years - from the moment she arrived, she has been treated with great sensitivity & respect by all the members of the Castle View team. Everyone seems to understand my mothers requirements, and takes considerable trouble to ensure her views and
ideas are both heard and acted upon. She regularly tells me how settled and comfortable she feels in her new home - and indeed I can see from her contented demeanour that this is the case. I love seeing my mum looking calm, happy & well cared for when I visit! Thank you for working together to provide a happy, calm community. We feel fortunate that Castle View is part of our family community.

From the moment my husband was transferred by ambulance to Castle View nursing home, he was warmly welcomed and immediately made to feel comfortable and cared for. My husband was a type 1 diabetic, was seriously ill, and fully aware of his condition. Before choosing Castle View, I had visited
several care homes, but this one had been highly recommended to us. Its location being close to our home, was also important, as my husband was concerned about how easily I would be able to visit him. As a family we were not disappointed, the standard of care he received was exemplary. His complex, full time nursing needs were met with professionalism, compassion and dignity at every stage. From the manager and administrative team to the nursing staff, kitchen staff and chef, as well as cleaners and maintenance team, every aspect of his care was carried out to the highest standard. Finally, when my husband passed away the staff showed extraordinary respect and kindness. They assembled in the hall as he was taken away, and both my sons and I were deeply comforted by their support at such a difficult time.

Since my mother moved into the home 2 1/2 years ago I have always been very happy with the care that she has received. All staff have treated my mother with respect and seem to get to know residents as individuals very quickly, responding to their wishes appropriately. There is a full & varied
programme of entertainment including trips out. The home is well-presented, and the thought given to the furnishing & decor means the surroundings remain very 'home'-like. When we visit, we particularly enjoy the sunlounge which has views on the garden with interesting plants for all seasons, the produce of which is used by the home. There is plenty of good and well-presented food & drink, with a choice of traditional or alternative options - plus morning & afternoon tea and snacks are offered. Although a decision to move into a home can be difficult, my mother very much appreciates the support she has received since moving to Castle View.

Staff all charming, helpful, efficient, well-dressed, punctual, remember my name, respectful & never patronising. My rooms are well furnished, spacious & comfortable. I'm glad to be at Castle View.

The Castle View team are exceptional. Every member of staff I have met is courteous, and demonstrates kindness, compassion and respect when supporting my mum, who accessed residential respite care here twice in 2025, with another month long stay planned.
The Registered Manager is clearly a
skilled and experienced leader.
The home is always clean and bright and has a really upbeat atmosphere from the moment you walk through the front door with music playing most days. Everyone chats to mum and they welcome her family and visitors warmly.
The nursing care is wonderful. Castle View is all I could ask for for my mum when I take a break from providing her care - most importantly she loves it! She feels cared for, respected and safe.

I knew Castle View was the correct place right from the start. Not just its convenience of position. The staff have always been so cheerful and so friendly. Dear Gwen was cared for so lovingly the whole time she was with you and all staff were always so gentle and polite and kind to her. I know she

My Mother lived independently and had always resisted moving to a care home, but when she was no longer safe at home, we moved her into Castle View. After a few weeks of adjustment, she said she was, 'very content' there, and enjoyed the view from her ground-floor room, watching the dogwalkers, and
families on the playing fields opposite. Castle View ran a busy programme of activities, and soon persuaded Mum to visit the lounge and take part in craft pursuits, and she enjoyed visits from local groups.
I was impressed with the genuine caring approach of every member of the Castle View staff, from the housekeeping team up to the Clinical Lead and management. All the team took time to chat and engage with Mother, responding promptly to calls for assistance. The care staff developed a friendly banter with her, so she never felt alone and always felt safe and cared for. When she suffered an infection, the medical team provided antibiotics that later delivered a pain-free, peaceful passing.

My mum moved into Castle View in Feb this year and I can honestly say she could not be happier. She has a wonderful view from her upstairs room which is well equipped and kept so clean. She is treated with dignity and respect and is supported by the knowledgeable, friendly staff to maintain her
independence as much as possible despite her complex medical needs. The home has a lovely manager, who is so approachable and nothing is too much trouble. It is so well run and this is reflected in the happy environment. We are so grateful that we found this place.

My mother is 98 and has lived at Castle View for the last 7 years. Over these years, age has taken its toll, but I have found that Castle View has provided, at a high standard, the changing level of stimulation and care that my mother required. The staff has been excellent, in sometimes difficult
circumstances.

My Mother moved to Castleview just over 2 years ago as she was no longer able to live independently.A decision made easier by Castle View .
They welcomed my Mother helping her settle in ensuring the transition of moving was made easier for both my Mum and the family. It was a pleasure to see my Mum
enjoying company, outings, being introduced to new hobbies, having her hair done and all other amazing facilities. Even the laundering of her clothes were to a high standard along with the cleanliness of all areas of the home.
They gave my Mother the upmost respect, friendship, care and compassion.
Living away allowed me to trust all staff 100% with the care of my Mother.
My Mother passed away this month. Whilst my Mum was poorly the staff gave dignity, respect and love to my Mum.
The professionalism and dedication of the staff is head and shoulders above other homes we considered. I would have no hesitation in recommending Castle View to anyone considering care for their loved one.

An amazing home. A 5 star experience. My mother thrived and her life was enriched beyond all my expectations. All staff, from cleaners and waiters to care, nursing or companion team were outstanding. At all times, my mother was treated with respect and value. My mother's life was actually extended
due to all the love and care of everyone at Castle View. I could not have asked for more. A truly outstanding home.

I came to Castle View for respite following surgery. My experience with the admin team was pleasant, helpful, and informative. I was allocated to a second-floor room with interesting views and a sunny light aspect. A much-needed ensuite with a wash basin and wet room with easy reach. All the
facilities were kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Food was served in your room, in the lounge, or in the pleasant dining room. I did look, and the menu was good, and the food was well presented. The staff was the high point of my stay - Polite, friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive. I would definitely return!
