On each visit I see the kindess and care shown to my Mother. They are all patient and calm with my Mother and she is relaxed because of this. It gives me great confidence that my Mother is receiving the best of care here.

Barchester Ashford House Care Home is an excellent, well appointed facility, that I would definitely highly recommend.
All of the staff, on every level showed professionalism, kindness and respect to my frail, but determined, FTD diagnosed relative during the time that she was there as a resident.
One small but important aspect that I really appreciated, was that I could visit at any time, and any day. That itself made a huge difference when I felt I needed to stay a little longer.

Dad has been a resident at Ashford House now for over a year. I cannot fault his care, the staff are amazing and when he came down recently with an illness it was diagnosed really quickly and medical care was sought immediately. Dad particularly likes the entertainment that's put on regularly
throughout the week and the meals they serve our great. I cannot recommend this home enough.

I'm so relieved that I've found such a lovely home for my Dad. The rooms are clean, the food is superb and most importantly that staff are warm and friendly. My Dad is very content here and I would highly recommend this home to anyone with the difficult decision of making the change for their loved

I cannot praise highly enough the amount of work and attention to detail that the ladies of housekeeping and activities put into the themed fete, they deserve a massive thank you for all the smiling faces of the residents.
I think all the staff do the best they can for the residents and their
families. I would like to see higher carer ratio to residents.

My Aunt has been Resident at Ashford House since April 2024. She has been looked after very well and all the staff treat her with such affection, kindness and care. Lots of good communication and activities. My Aunt looks safe and content.

So pleased we chose Ashford House. Since my husband has been a resident he could not have been treated any better by all the staff with their kindness & care. Also when we visit everybody is so welcoming and friendly.

The level of care, kindness and compassion shown towards my husband was outstanding while he was in respite. Nothing was too much trouble especially if I asked for help or assistance. I personally would recommend Ashford House and all its team as exceptional. I am so pleased my husband was accepted
to be in this care home.

My wife has been in this care home for over 4yrs. The accomodation is first class alway very clean and, tidy The care home staff provide a totally first class reponse to alway to their residents. Fully recomending

I visited Barchester Ashford House Care Home to see my friend's sister, now living in your care home. It was the family day, my first visit. I was so impressed with the effort all the staff made to ensure a happy and carefree day for the patients and the families. I was also delighted at the
one-to-one relationship with those living in the home and their carers. They were polite, respectful and very caring.

Came to see my friend and was delighted to find her happy and enjoying life at Barchester Ashford House Care Home after a bad start.
I have never seen such cheerful and happy staff and the care appears to be excellent!

My father has been a resident at Barchester Ashford House Care Home for over one month now and I wish to express just how happy I am with the care he is receiving. The staff are tireless in their efforts to ensure my father's comfort and treat him as they would a family member rather than simply a
client. I couldn't be more satisfied.

The same reason I chose this care home - it feels clean and fresh when you walk in and the staff are caring and friendly. They also have plenty of interactions with my Mum which helps to stimulate her.

I live abroad and I visited Mum in March on a visit to UK. I phone Mum nearly every day and it is rare not to find her in good spirits. The carers and staff are doing a top job and I am very happy my mum is in such a well-run establishment.

From the reception on arriving for the time, a warm, professional greeting. The room my sister is in is bright and cheerful. The staff are all very welcoming and appear to be happy in their workplace.

Find all the carers very good and helpful, also various nurses very good.

Mum is doing well having recovered from cellulitis and a urinary infection not long ago. The carers and staff are doing a very good job of looking after her. The nurses also keep me up to date by phone, which is very helpful. It has been a difficult time for Mum, but the work and care of the staff
in the home have been first-class.
