I have held off writing a review as I wanted to reflect my experience over a period of time. Since my wife arrived at Bramwell six months ago, I have been delighted with the care, attention and love that she has experienced. The staff are well trained and enthusiastic in their work and make my
visits pleasurable. Having visited several care homes in the area over the last two years Bramwell stands well above all others in my opinion.

I have been in Bramwell for 8 wks, I have slowly settled in and have made a friend which is helpful for my happiness. The staff are all very kind and a lot of staff speak too quickly for me to understand. The home is lovely and clean and a good temperature. The food is very good but the choice of
sandwich fillings is a bit limited, as is the choice of bread; always white sliced - some variation might be nice.

We visited a friend for the first time in 5 months after her move from Huddersfield to Nottingham. We were very impressed by the welcome we received from all staff from arriving to leaving. Our friend's mental and physical abilities are much improved showing the dedicated work the Bramwell staff
have invested in her. The overall atmosphere in the home was positive and personalized. In particular, we saw a Dementia Awareness board which we gained knowledge from and which detailed what was expected of staff. This was demonstrated by all staff irrespective of their roles and to all residents. The layout of the lounge allowed us to sit and chat with our friend in comfort with clear staff availability with staff at all times but never intrusively. It was reassuring to see our friend settled and so well cared for in such a lovely setting

We are generally very satisfied with Dad's care. There has been the odd hiccup inevitably but these have been dealt with quickly. There is a warm & welcoming atmosphere with lots of activities. Staff are caring & those who know Dad well understand his quirks. He is treated with kindness & respect,
especially by his 'key worker'. I have visited several care homes recently. This is the best, in my opinion.

Mum-Patricia-sadly passed away on 3rd September, having been a resident at Bramwell for just over a year.
On behalf of our entire family, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks for the way you cared for her-with dignity, tenderness, and unwavering warmth.
In every
gesture, every moment of kindness, and every quiet act of compassion, you honoured not just her needs, but her spirit. Mable, your leadership is not simply operational-it is cultural, emotional, and profoundly human. You are a culture maker, and the grace with which you lead cascades through the very DNA of your team. It is felt in the way they speak, listen, comfort, and serve.
You gave Mum not just care, but presence. And in doing so, you gave us peace.
Team Bramwell will remain forever in our hearts-not as a place, but as a constellation of people who made a difference when it mattered most.

Every time I visit Bramwell I notice how friendly and caring the staff are and how well kept the Care Home is.
I attend most of the organised events which the residents all seem to enjoy and those who can join in the singing and dancing

Mum has been at Bramwell for 4 years and I have been very impressed with the level of care she has received. The staff are great; warm, welcoming and very professional. The residents are treated with dignity and a huge amount of effort is made to make sure that they are meaningfully occupied with a
range of activities. Care is taken with Mum's appearance, she always looks clean & tidy and cared-for. Bramwell itself is spotless and well-furnished, a pleasure to visit. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Bramwell carehome is like another family, warm loving - respectful. Everything is done to ensure comfort and happiness of the resident.
It is such a comfort to know my husband is in such a caring home.
After a very difficult personal year for me and my son, you have given us such comfort in your
care for Brian.

Lovely home, Mum is looked after really well and treated with real care and dignity. Set up is great with foccused space and carers, activities are well balanced as is the food. Great choice and we feel very at peace she's being looked after incredibly well - Thank you.

My mum has been at Bramwell for a few months now. She is very settled and happy. It is always friendly and welcoming. Lots of activities for everyone inside and out.

absolutely fantastic staff, so so nurtering, kind and thoughtful. They care about each resident deeply. Clean place and the care they give is amazing. Highly highly recommend this place!! :)

Outstanding throughout. Having experienced another (apparently) great care home this is by far superior. The staff have made my mother's time here fantastic. She is a different woman. The manager runs a tight ship. Professional and highly personable. Just superior

Bramwell Care Home is a very welcoming place, the staff are very caring and friendly. They treat all the residents with dignity and always seem to be organising events, or receiving visitors to entertain everybody. The rooms are a very high standard and very clean, with excellent food at meal times,
and there are plenty of other tea rooms, gardens etc when visiting. Overall the staff are excellent and we are reassured that my father-in-law is in the best hands, safe and well looked after.

We moved my father who has dementia into Bramwell Care Home on May 2nd. From the first day the staff + management made him feel so welcome, the room is beautifully clean with lovely furniture. The staff are so nice & friendly and caring. We like the fact that the staff are from different cultures &
backgrounds. The food looks so nice and nutritious, theres always refreshments available too. My father is happy and we as a family are extremely happy that he is being cared for in a secure & safe home. There are daily activities, trips on a bus which are very well organized.
Thank you for giving our family peace of mind, and the support we are so grateful.

All staff are very friendly, the whole place is very clean & tidy. The little cafe area aid my father-in-law are very nice to sit in when visiting. There's ample parking spaces. The site is secure for residents and visitors. There are trips out for the residents.

Staff are always welcoming and open to discuss any issues with dads health and activities etc. They have a good connection with dad even at difficult times. The home has plenty of staff and is very clean. The garden area is exceptional. The cafe is where we go for family time.

Bramwell is a very presentable and welcoming care home. All staff are caring and show attention to the residences at all times if required. I highly recommend this care home which always gives care and comfort.
