I would like to thank all the staff and nurses who cared for my late mam Margaret, hundens park have some fantastic staff, I will always be thankful to Anna the manager for accommodating my mam during difficult times however her true colours soon shone through.

Any family looking for a care home to look - care for relatives I would strongly recommend this home. My wife has been a resident for the past year. Care and environment is excellent and we also get looked after when we visit which is also nice to be welcomed.

Excellent care the whole time my dad has been a resident however end of life care was so special. We were all treated with great respect. My dad received excellent care and pain relief was given immediately. It helped a very distressful time easier to bare and I can never thank the girls enough.

This is the third care home for Mum and our 3rd time lucky. It's excellent from the management. Nursing staff that really get to know your loved one and their care needs. The care staff work as a team working together to deliver excellent care. The girls on activities are amazing always doing things with everyone - little animal visits from rabbits, little pigs and therapy dogs. So nice to see the residents enjoy these days. The food is so nice with plenty of choice offered.

From the first day of attending Barchester Hundens Darlington, I was very satisfied with the security admission procedure. And extremely impressed by the friendly and warm welcome given by all staff. Pleasant, polite and helpful attitude. Their upfilling and cheery disposition was excellent and valued by our family on the difficult situation we found ourselves in. We were allowed tea and coffee as required during visits. Attention to the patient was available straight away if needed. I highly recommend this care home.

From walking through the door i knew that this care home was the best choice my friend had made for her mum . The place was warm welcoming clean and bright . The rooms were lovely and all the staff I met and spoke to were friendly kind and helpful. Keep up the good work Hundens Park. Ill definately recommend your home

Right from the start the management were so professional, they made the transfer to this home so easy but also dealt with my mother in law with complete dignity. The carers and nurses do an excellent job and make everyone welcome, they also have great communication with the family. I would highly recommend Hundens Park.

Outstanding friendly care home that really is a breath of fresh air and by far the best care home we have ever dealt with, My sister is general nursing and is nursed in bed by an amazing team of people who work together to make this care home such a happy place for the residents to live and call their home. It has a hotel feel about it when you walk in and the nursing staff are 1st class, The activities are excellent and they really take their time to do a mix of things with the residents. From management to admin, chefs, care staff, maintenance staff. And activities. Professional, friendly, respectful, caring people and a fabulous care home.

My father has over the last 12 months has been hospitalised on a number of occassions and has been housed in various locations in the area. However was re housed by social services at Hundens Park. What a difference. The other locations are not a patch on Hundens Park. The staff at both were excellent, as is Hundens Parks, but the facilities and the access to management and nurses are far better. My father seems much more settled and happy. Many thanks!

My husband has recently become a resident of Hundens Park, he was very upset having to go into a care home, however, the staff have been amazing. He's had previous issues with a bed sore thats gone on for 2 years & with the excellent care he's receiving its improved & is almost better within a few months of being here. He likes to smoke & the carers always make time to take him out daily. He's put on weight & looks really well. Staff & management have been extremely supportive to all our family too. Highly recommended.

Mum passed away in March, just a few days short of a year living at Hundens Park. The care my mum received during that year was exceptional, from all the staff, from the maintenance staff all the way up to management. Thank you to you all, not just for the care given to mum, but for the support I received.

My dad came to the care home from hospital. It was a shame that by the time he was discharged he could not get out of bed and enjoy the care home. I found the staff friendly and welcoming from the first visit to when my dad sadly passed. The staff could not do enough to make us welcome and my dad feel at home. The home itself was beautiful and had a homely feel to it, along with being very clean and smelling nice. I was glad my dad got to spend his last days here + felt happy we was being well looked after.

Mum has been in Hundens Park for 2 weeks now and the whole family love it. Nothing is too much bother. The staff are all wonderful from the carers to nurses and management. They are all wonderful with mum. The rooms are lovely and clean and nicely decorated. I couldnt have wished for a nicer home for mum. We all feel welcome and mum has a big family and lots of friends, nothing is a problem. We would like to thank you all for everything you do for mum as she is special to us and you make her feel special. Mum is happy and that means alot.

After seeing Hundens Park I was impressed by how clean, up-to-date and welcoming all of the rooms were. The personalisation of the bedrooms made them feel so homely. The staff were amazing, helpful and deeply empathetic. Nothing was too much trouble and it was easy to see how much they care for the residents. My grandad was treated with so much compassion + dignity. I only wish he came sooner.

Thank you all for your great care, support and professionalism during my mothers stay at Barchester Care Home. My brother and I greatly appreciated everything by all the wonderful staff. Lovely to know Mum was in good hands, respected and well looked after in all her time at Barchester.

I find Hundens Park Care Home a pleasant surrounding with friendly staff and efficient management. My mother enjoyed her surroundings. The food was very good and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a caring and safe residential home.

I am writing this review to express the happiness that I had during a visit. To start with, the home looked absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere was peaceful and the environment took me straight into the Christmas spirit. Visited one of my dearest and was amazing to see a fantastic spirit and health progress in the last couple of months. Talking, the resident could not praise the staff enough, stating how lovely all are, how responsive they are towards his needs, enjoying the activities, choices respected and extremely happy with his room. The quality of life was, without any doubt, visible and could tell how happy he was to call it his home now. Staff have been highly professional, visible kindness towards him and with a smile on their face. Thank you all for making him happy, thank you all for all your hard work, it does not go unnoticed.

Any family looking for a care home to look - care for relatives I would strongly recommend this home. My wife has been a resident for the past year. Care and environment is excellent and we also get looked after when we visit which is also nice to be welcomed.
