View Full Details of Northlands House Care HomeEver since I have been visiting my mum here, I have always felt welcome, and everyone is always friendly and caring. The home is nicely decorated and always clean. My mum is well looked after.
My mum has just come to the home but already is loving it in there , every member of staff that we have met and who have cared and helped her are amazing , so kind and caring , and give her so much time . The hygiene level is excellent and there is never a smell you get in some homes. The food mum receives looks delicious and plentiful . I genuinely can't fault the home.
I feel that dad has an had overall a great experience being at northlands at Northlands house. We visit pretty much daily and are always greeted with happy, friendly smiley faces. Dad is treated with respect and seems to be content here!
The staff in Northlands House from the cleaners to the Manager are all extremely helpful, nothing is too much trouble. I am extremely grateful that I chose Northlands House to reaide for the rest of my life.
100% perfect, Mum is well looked after.
Northlands House Care Home, in my experience of several 2-week stays for my father, is professional, friendly and caring. The management team assess the care needed very well and is approachable and accommodating. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great care is taken over medicines and safety. The food and drink are good, and the staff assist my father to eat when necessary. I feel confident that my father is in good hands.
My son has been a resident in Northlands since early March 2025, having seen what goes on in the home I am happy for him to reside there long-term. The staff are all lovely and helpful. They look after the resident very well and respectfully. In one, if I needed to be in a carehome, I would be very happy to be in Northlands. 10 out of 10 5*.
I visit Northlands House quite regularly and always feel welcomed from the time i enter by reception and all staff. Everyone always seem happy and the staff do a good job to keep the home maintained and residents happy. When i come to visit and activities are on they allow me to join in and engage.
Very friendly, welcoming staff, good food, clean home.
I enjoy activities but I don't get offered alternative meals when I don't like the menu (sometimes they are too busy to get an alternative like jacket potato or have run out). There are not enough staff, which means that I have to wait a long time when I use my bell to go to the toilet. The staff who are here are very nice.
I've been resident here since November 2023 and I've noticed that the service has reduced in quality, which is rather disappointing. Over Christmas, the food has not been as good as previously and in general also.
I am very happy here. No responsibilities, everything is done for me. I would be very pleased to live here for another five years - even more, health allowing! I have particularly enjoyed being able to get to church on a Sunday morning.
Because I now have to be in a wheelchair most of the time, I have been here for nearly three years. I particularly enjoy the activities provided for us. My favourites are the word puzzles that we are able to do on a large computer screen so we can all join in. We have visiting musicians and singers, exercise groups, and go in the garden when possible. In recent weeks we were taken to a local garden centre, which had a Wonderland walk displaying every aspect of Christmas and winter that you could think of. Earlier in the year we were taken on a boat adapted for a wheelchair and went around Southampton water. Other groups went on other outings. They treat us well.
My mum has been a resident since June this year after being in hospital for 5 months. She has been well looked after and has made lots of friends. She enjoys the activities and being sociable. It has given me peace of mind knowing she is looked after and is happy.
I have been a resident since June 2024 and I have everything I need here to live comfortably. There is a good range of activities that I can go to if I choose. I have made friends and feel happy here.
My experience of Nolan's house is very good, care is excellent, all done in a professional way. Everyone is kind and considerate towards me.
Dad is very happy with the care he is getting. There are some very caring staff that treat Dad with dignity. Dad very much enjoys some of the entertainment, especially the singing and music. The local film production went down very well with him.
In the last 4 years, I have been to 4 hospitals and 5 care homes. This is by far the best, need I say more.
Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The home is very well-maintained and a pleasure to be here.
I am very happy, everybody has been so kind to me. I had a very good time here. Lots of things going on and keep me busy. I would say it's first-class.
