I'm indeed very grateful for the outstanding care my former manager receives here. From his very first day he moved into your care home, the staff went above and beyond to make him feel welcome, safe, and deeply valued.The clinical care is flawless, but it is the emotional support that truly sets
this home apart. The nurses and carers treat every resident with the utmost dignity, patience, and genuine affection. They don't just manage his medical needs; they know his personality, his favorite music, and how he takes his tea.
Communication with our family is excellent, proactive, and transparent. The facility itself is spotlessly clean, bright, and vibrant, featuring a fantastic daily activities, programme that keeps residents engaged and happy. True be told, choosing this care home by his immediate family has given us complete peace of mind, knowing that our jolly good fellow is thriving in a warm, loving environment. Thanks Brownlee court and keep the ship sailing.

My mam and dad were residents of Brownlee Court Carehome from 2023 to December 2024 for mam Vera and March 2026 for dad William (aka Bill). The support and care for my parents was fantastic from staff, management and cleaners. I felt that they both were highly thought of throughout the carehome
which I'm forever grateful for. Thanks very much indeed to everybody.

My mam was a resident and passed 3 years ago but I still go and visit a friend.
The staff are amazing with the residents, also the manager is approchable lovely lady. The home is always clean and its a pleasure to go an support.

The manager and staff always there to help
Alway Activities going on daily. If they can get family's on days out there do.
They is alway cups of tea coffee going round and if you want any food with your loved ones that can be aranged. The care home is spotless.

The care my gran is given is excellent from carers to management. Everyone is extremely friendly and caring. If there are any issues these are dealt with swiftly. It was very difficult for us as a family to place Gran in a care home as we could no longer care for her ourselves, but choosing Brownlee
was definately the best decision. She's safe/cared for extremely well and happy. She especially enjoys the fitness classes.

Our mother has been in Brownlee Care Home for 17 months. We are happy with everything. We feel our mother is looked after with first class care. We feel she is safe in there.
We have had no problems to date. Everyone from the cleaners to carers are fantastic.
If we have any concerns we know they
are dealt with.

Brownlee Care Home has the most caring, loving, attentive staff I have ever experienced.
The home itself has very good facilities for patients and visitors. Spottlessly clean.
I am so pleased Mam is in Brownlee in her final days.

A heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful carers and staff at Brownlee Court. My Dad spent the last 18 months plus of his long life with them reaching 105 years old. They made his time with them so very special he was cared for and treated with great compassion, respect and dignity nothing was too
much trouble. The home created a warm and friendly atmosphere which was extended to all family and friends. They were there with kindness and understanding when he passed. As a family we cannot praise them enough.

My husband has been cared for on the nursing wing for a number of years. The wing is currently having works done to improve the bathrooms in each room. All of the staff work tirelessly to support the residents and I am always welcomed warnly into the home. I visit my husband regularly and have seen
how he is treated with respect and kindness by all of his carers. The nurses are excellent and keep me informed of any medical issues. There is a weekly ward round by the local surgery. The food is varied and the home is clean and well maintained. I feel reassured that he is in good hands.

My father in law arrived 2 and a half weeks ago as end of life care on floor 2 nursing. I would like to say how fabulous your care home is. They not only looked after my father in law but all of us family members too day and night. The staff nothing was ever too much trouble kept checking on my
father in law and on us too. The nurses were all fantastic too. When we wanted to stay over they made up 1 bed and put a chair in. Another night nurse got a double chair brought pillows and blankets. They also brought us a trolley with crisps biscuits and fruit. They said tell us whenever you need anything. At the end they were so very compassionate. The nurse that night i would love to thank with all my heart. Not a nice experience to go through but made easier with compassionate staff.

From the day my husband arrived he was made to feel welcome. The home is immaculate in every area and has a lovely homely feel. The bedrooms are of varied size, all are spacious with modern furniture. Each room has a lovely modern ensuite shower room.The food is of high quality and varied. The
residents are encouraged to participate in the regular activities programme, which again is varied and plentiful, ensuring residents are engaged and stimulated. Coffee mornings are a lovely touch and the singalongs are so enjoyable. The Valentines day meal that was arranged for residents and partners was a really lovely touch, tables were set and decorated in the privacy of the rooms served with a 3 course meal. The staff at Brownlee made my husbands transition into their care as relaxed as it possibly could be. The staff are amazing, I cant thank them enough for the care shown to my husband and the outstanding support they gave me and my family. Would I recommend this home I absolutely would.

I would just like to thank everyone on 1st floor nursing from the bottom of our hearts for giving my mum exceptional care during her final days, nothing was ever to much and all staff including carers, nurses, catering, domestic, went above and beyond for my mum and also looked after us her family
while we spent her final days with her, I would most definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere homely friendly and most of all caring such a top place with a great atmosphere absoute 5* from me

My mum resides in Brownlee Court Care Home, Mum seems happy and content with the care she receives.
I visit my mother quite often and the care staff are great with her and they have a great rapport.
In my view, I feel that Mother is happy and content.

A very friendly, caring home. Professional, friendly staff. Home has a family feeling/atmosphere. Welcoming to everybody equally. Residents have lots of activities to take part in. With music and laughter as the norm.

When it becomes obvious that your loved one is in need of 24-hour per day nursing care, it becomes a very hard decision to have to make. After looking around a number of local nursing homes, we decided on Brownlee Court Care Home and we are so glad we did. My wife has now been a resident there for
some sixteen months and during that time, she has received the most dedicated care from all the staff.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire team for their dedication and loving care they are giving to my wife. I'm sure if it wasn't for their care she wouldn't still be with us today.

My dad was admitted to Brownlee Court in 2024 for rehabilitation after a hospital stay. As a retired district nurse I found it difficult to find fault with the care that he received. As his home carer was on holiday over Christmas this year he has returned to Brownlee for a week of respite care. I
am pleased to say the standard of care continues to be very high. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the standard of cleanliness is exemplary. I will not hesitate for my dad to return to Brownlee for future respite or long term care.

My mam has been in the care home for two years. She has dementia. Staff are all lovely and treat my mam with the utmost respect. Any problems, staff are really helpful and quick to rectify. Mam loves it in the home, she only went in for a week respite but ended up wanting to stay.

Very good, no explanation. Both Man (ten years ago) and now Dad. I nursed for forty years so I am able to assess the home's abilities and shortfalls. They all have a hard job, even just being aware of the tragedy of the patients'/residents' life changes. Well done and thanks!

I visit an elderly lady, a friend's mum. I visit most days and I must say the staff are exceptional, their dedication to the residents is outstanding, they put residents and visitors at ease. They have been fabulous with the care my friend's mum needs and above and beyond seems to be commonplace.
The home is immaculate and warm. The manager is attentive and thorough and the carers take their job role extremely serious and never lose sight of the needs of the residents, friendly and upbeat staff have been a pleasure to talk to.
