Fantastic Care home. Staff are 5*, very caring and treat the residents as one big family. My Nan was in for a 2 month stay following a short stay in hospital. All of the staff went above and beyond. Would highly recommend. Food is fantastic, lots of daily activities and facilities are great. Thank
you to everyone at Waltham Care Home.

Wonderful caring team, all staff from management and administrative to the cleaning staff were all caring, thoughtful and attentive. They were all very supportive, focused on my father's wellbeing and very compassionate not just to my father but to my wife and I in some of the hardest times before
he passed away in January 2026. Any problems they would contact us straight away if they needed me to be there we would be there. We knew from the start he was in a caring and safe place. We would class each and everyone of them as our friends not just relatives of my father, and we cannot thank them enough for everything they did for my father and we will be forever grateful for all their love and care.

The care and compassion shown by the team here have been truly outstanding. Knowing my dad is in such safe, capable hands gives our whole family real peace of mind. The staff consistently go above and beyond, treating residents with dignity, kindness, and genuine warmth. Nothing ever feels like too
much trouble, and their attention to detail makes a real difference. The manager is brilliant-approachable, professional, and clearly dedicated to maintaining such a high standard of care. We're incredibly grateful for everything they do.

The care you gave to my dad in the short time he was with you was second to none.
If there were any problems I would be contacted and could call the home at any time.
The staff gave excellent person centred care and truely care for the residents.

My husband has dementia and goes into Waltham House for respite. He is very well cared for and seemed to like the staff, they are very professional and caring and he seems to like them. they are all very approachable and nothing seems to be too much trouble, as I am his carer I always feel at ease
when he is there so it gives me time to re-charge my batteries knowing he is being looked after.

The quality of care my sister has received at Waltham House has been excellent in every way. I have particularly appreciated the way the staff treat residents with dignity, respect and compassionate care.

My husband stays at Waltham House on respite every so often as I am his main carer, this allows me to have some time. I always feel at ease when he stays there. The staff are caring and ensure all his needs are met.

The home is very welcoming from the second you enter it, staff are always polite and always happy to help, management team always on hand with any queries that you may have. Enjoy visiting Waltham house care home.

When I visited my friend in Waltham Care Home Grimsby. I always found her happy and content due to the kindness of all the staff and management. The activities and the entertainment for the residents was so reassuring that there was lots of thought, care and love in the home. Thank you to everyone.

All the staff I have crossed paths with at Waltham house have gone above and beyond, no matter what is asked of them they are always happy to help. I really enjoy visiting the home it's so welcoming. I would definitely recommend.

During my partner's stay, Everybody was so helpful and friendly, all staff always had the time to speak and help you when needed, constantly on the lookout if anybody needed any help. Excellent 10/10

Waltham House has provided me and my family with the assurance that my brother is well cared for.
The staff are friendly and helpful with anything you ask of them, and the management staff team are always there on hand should we need anything.
Best decision we have made placing him at Waltham
House.

Mum is a resident of the home and is 92 years old with advanced dementia so she doesn't have mental capacity. She is partially independent but does rely on care home assistance in many daily activities. She appears happy with the care she receives although she always insists on going home. Recently
she suffered Bronchial pneumonia and needed additional support and equipment which was provided. She has now recovered and is improving daily. Being responsible for mum's affairs and care I am happy with the care home support and services provided.

My mother-in-law has recently been admitted to Waltham House.
Her care has been excellent.
Nothing is too much trouble for the care staff.
Managers are very approachable and concerns have been dealt with promptly.
The home is friendly and welcoming.
The home appears to be a happy environment
for staff and residents.
I've worked in care home settings for a long time, I'm impressed with this one.

My mother in law now staying there. I have got to praise all the staff they are amazing from the cooks to cleaners to care assistants and manager and her staff they go above and beyond to help both residents and family of the residents nothing is to much trouble for them. I would recommend them to
anybody thinking of someone who needs to go into care they will be so well looked after and taken care of.
Big thank you to you all for helping to make this decision of having to put our family member in your care a lot easier we know she is safe and well looked after.

My 90 year old Mum moved to Waltham House Care Home on 1st May 2022. She has settled in so well and the care given by the staff has been first rate. They seem to genuinely care about the residents and nothing has been too much trouble for them. Each time we visit we are greeted with a smile and
an update on Mum’s progress. There are plenty of activities available for those residents able and wanting to participate. All of the staff I’ve encountered are very professional and I always leave feeling that Mum is safe there and that she is happy, well cared for and settled.

My mother celebrated her 92nd Birthday at Waltham House after a few weeks in hospital after a fall and a fractured hip. Up to this point she had lived with dementia alone at home with carers coming and going. She reverted back to only speaking Dutch after 63 years, challenging for the Waltham House
carers but with good humour and kindness, they both understood each other. Her last Birthday was celebrated joyfully surrounded by kind and loving staff and family members too. She was made to feel so special. The Waltham House carers were so kind and supportive to us as it was an emotional roller coaster. We really could not have had a better place for our mother to spend her precious time on earth. Thank you all for making a difficult time so much easier for us and our very loved mother comfortable, cared for and loved in such difficult times.

Waltham House is a very nice place and the staff are very good. U have recommended the home to other people in the past and will continue to so so in the future. The staff make the place what it is.

I cannot praise Waltham House Care home enough, their carers are the best, will do anything for the residents, nothing is too much bother. When I was looking for a care home for my Mum, I looked around 12 in the Grimsby area, and Waltham House was the best, very impressed with the 1st visit and for
the next 3 years never let me down.
