My Mother in law 7 weeks She is really happy she is looked after by amazing carers She had only been here a day or two and she was taken out Grand hotel she has access to hairdressers she gets her nails done each week . She attents all activities She enjoys all the music and exercise
She had a
permanent smile on her face
We are pleased we picked Collingwood for her.

Very happy with the home, mam is fairly new and has settled well. Lots of activities to keep her busy as she's very sociable, enjoys being with other residents. The staff are lovely with the her and nothing is too much bother. They took mam to the grand hotel for coffee when she'd only been there a
couple of days. Im pleased mam is at Collingwood Court as she's happy.

The care and love shown to my father from the staff at Collingwood court is outstanding. They go above & beyond to keep him happy & we are so grateful to everyone. In particular the activities and sing-a-longs are fantastic. Thank you so much x

Collingwood Court and the staff are absolutely fantastic. I cannot praise them highly enough.My mother's spirit and outlook on life is so much improved since becoming a resident. The general care, medical care and activities are all expertly handled. Thanks for everything.

The residential home in which my Wife completed a thorough review of all homes for her father, Collingwood stood out being clean and fresh with nice room,s and excellent food. Activities on a daily basis perfect for my Father in Law. The staff are outstanding taking great care to ensure all
residents needs are met in a friendly and caring way.
All staff are excellent but special mention to Josh, Rhianan, Emma, Jenn , Goodswill, Joanne and not forgetting Lynne on reception.

My brother John is a resident at Collingwood Court he came from a respite unit
While John was in respite we visited a lot of homes To make sure we got the best
We are extremely happy we chose Collingwood
John gets access to activities. John also sees the barber
John enjoys the meals and
drinks
We are happy as a family we picked Collingwood court
The home is so clean you can eat your food from the floor

My beautiful wife has been living her since November'.I couldn't have found a better nicer care home the cleanness is of the highest standard. The care my wife gets is above and beyond all the staff are lovely. They go out there way to help Nothing is a bother All the family have commented on how

My father has lived in Collingwood Court nearly 2 year
As a family we couldn't have picked a nicer more well run than Collingwood for him
He is happy he does everything they offer He even got to go on a boat for his wish he absolutely loved it

Since my Sister went into Collingwood Court two and a half years ago she has been looked after by an excellent team of carers, all of which do their utmost to keep the residents happy and occupied by lots of activities and outings, special thanks to Joanne who helped her settle into the home and
still helps when needed, the home is always immaculate and all the staff keep the home running perfectly, the food is extremely good from the home made biscuits to the dinners

We chose Collingwood Court for our mam due to the reviews We had a good show round We were even given lunch
Mam settled in straight away . Mam happy content
We as a family know she is safe here .

Tip top. Well looked after way beyond my capabilities. Always something happening with engaging activities and trips out with guests and family welcome. Never had the food but my dad raves about it.

The staff at Collingwood Court are very caring and help my mother in law with her knitting which comforts her.
The level of cleanliness is very high.

My review is on behalf of a local nursery regarding our ongoing intergenerational work with Collingwood Court Care Home in North Shields.
Over the past few months, we have been holding regular intergenerational sessions with the residents, and as Senior Nursery Manager, I wanted to share how
incredibly positive and heartwarming we find these experiences.
From the moment we began working together, it has been clear that the staff team at Collingwood Court share the same values as us around care, compassion, dignity, and meaningful relationships. Every session feels genuine, rewarding, and full of warmth, and our team always leaves feeling uplifted.
The children absolutely adore visiting - many lovingly refer to the residents as "the grandmas," regardless of whether they are men or women, which we find incredibly endearing.
Parents are equally excited when their child attends, and due to the beautiful relationships being formed, we have actually increased the frequency

I am a very close friend of a resident that has no family in the UK
His family live in Australia & his wife sadly passed away in January
I visit around 3/5 times a week.
Always made to feel welcome every time I arrive, the staff are so lovely and welcoming and always make an effort to speak to me
& get to know me..
The care they give is second to none, Derek is very well cared for at Collingwood. Not just from the carers but all of the staff the domestic staff are absolutely amazing not just keeping the home immaculate but also caring for the residents too..special thanks to Riannin the lifestyle coordinator what can i say Riannin is made for her job and always goes above and beyond for all residents and their friends & family..Riannin is an asset to Collingwood Court.
There is always something going on from bingo & quiz's to party's with singers..Derek especially loves the singing and dancing & is living his best life.
Chloe is doing an amazing job running the home..we are so grateful
