My wife unfortunately got to the point where Care Home Care became essential.
Naturally she was terrifies at the thought, all the implications, and leaving me on my own at home.
The move to Farnworth Care Home has worked out far better than we could have imagined.
The rooms and facilities have
compared very favourable with other care homes we visited.
And the staff are so friendly and helpful.
Glad to say despite fears, my wife is very happy there.

Our Mum has been a resident of Farnworth Care Home since June 2023. We faced the agonising decision to place our vulnerable Mum into care. At this very challenging time, we feel grateful that we chose this wonderful care home. The warmth, genuine kindness shown to our Mum and to us as a family has
been amazing. All the Staff are incredibly kind, caring for our Mum's needs, preserving her dignity at all times. They ensure all her medical needs are met, skilled, consistent Staff help her to adjust to her failing health, providing person-centered support.
She enjoys her food, and on her good days can take part in the thoughtful activities the staff offer. Although she is mainly in her comfortable room, in the past she has enjoyed being with other residents in the lounge playing games and sharing meals in the dining room.
We feel overwhelmed with thanks to Jayms and his Staff; who provide a truely remarkable place for our loved ones. Highly recommend this excellent CareHome.

Farnworth is a gem of a find.
The atmosphere when you walk in is one of caring and love, which provides a very relaxing and homely feel. There is a high number of staff all dedicated to their work, and the home is run very efficiently. They treat each person as an individual, and treat them with
care and respect. You can relax in the knowledge that your family member is in a safe place, and cared for to the highest standard.

My husband, Derek, came here on the NHS discharge to assess. Staff are very caring and helpful. Very happy with the home. They welcomed us in to provide an afternoon tea for our 60th Wedding Anniversary.

Mum moved into Farnworth Care Home after a very unsuccessful stay in hosptial and another care facility. The staff at the home here quickly engaged with mum & the family to fully meet her needs. Management are easy to contact and open to ideas and suggestions to improve care.

I have settled in very well. Although the staff appear to listen to what you're saying, I find their relaying of messages is rather poor. I find the environment very noisy during the day. I have commented on the noise, but nothing changed. The food is very unappetizing and repetitive. Most of the
staff are very caring.

I am more than happy with the care my wife receives, all the staff I have met are caring, helpful and cheerful. The care she receives is second to none which keeps her contented and comfortable. All activities are catered for.

Our dear friend moved to Farnworth from another care home only a few weeks ago and is already 100% better than before. God bless all you wonderful people. We now know that he is safe and well cared for.

The staff are friendly and efficient. They keep you informed if there are any changes or if they have any concerns. There are activities provided for the residents and they keep the residents involved.

The home for my dad continues to be of excellent care. He has a good relationship with some of the staff who make him feel comfortable and safe.
He especially enjoys the meals and the singing activities.

My mum went in for a couple of weeks to be looked after while I was away on holiday, she stayed on the 2nd floor- Firwood unit.
From enquiring/ booking/ visiting the care home everything was explained fully and reassurance was given as we were very anxious about leaving mum in any care home.
My mum absolutely loved her time here, all the staff were great and my mum was well cared for, she said the food choices were great too!
Would definitely recommend this care home for anyone looking and my mum is looking forward to her next holiday here.

My mum has received excellent care in the Belmont Suite. She has a lovely bright room with ensuite. Her needs have been catered for in every respect. Nothing ever seems any trouble when we ask for anything. Lots of activities going on daily which you can join in without any pressure. Mum had a
wonderful day out at Fleetwood which she said she enjoyed immensely. Thank you Farnworth Care Home.

Amazing care given to my relative at all times, treated with dignity and respect, nothing too much trouble, as relatives we are made to feel very welcome when visiting, always lots of activities for the residents to join in. I am very grateful to all the staff who go above and beyond with their

I was very apprehensive about my husband going into a care home. I really didn't have to worry about anything; the care he receives is second to none. The staff really care for the residents and their families; I feel like the staff are extended family. I would have no hesitation in recommending
Farnsworth Care Home.

My mum has been in Farnworth care home for 4 years. I've never had cause for concern; the staff are brilliant, and meals always look good. The manager is also friendly, and if you have concerns, they listen to you.

All the staff looking after my Mum were extremely caring and patient with her. They kept me up to date with any health issues she had. Mum found it hard at first to settle in but soon was laughing with the staff who made her welcome. They were there for her in her last hours when sadly I could not
be there due to my own health issues and living in Wales. I cannot praise them enough for all their care and dedication to her.

Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of different activities for the residents. Very clean establishment. Nice enclosed garden when weather permits. On site hair salon which mum uses regularly. Mum's health stabilised due to good nursing care.

Since my brother was admin to the Nursing home in November for respite care, and now a permanent resident. He as been treated with dignity, respect, all staff are conscientious, friendly and caring towards all patients. I have visited other homes and found that Farnworth Nursing home is absolutely
wonderful. Patient focus is always good and nothing is too much for them. Staff are happy friendly listen to relatives problems and concerns an act on solution if needed. Would highly recommend the Nursing home and would never move him .

I was welcomed by staff on the reception desk and during my visit found all staff to be friendly, easily approachable and helpful. It was my friend's birthday and birthday banners had been put up in his room and on the corridor. There was a pleasant, calm and welcoming atmosphere and my friend was
relaxed and happy. Having experienced difficulties at some previous care homes due to my friends complex needs, I know that I have finally found a care home that is just that...Home.
