Excellent staff. Look after mum amazingly, couldn't be happier with the care she receives.
Mum's first month in Amber Court she has settled in well and been made very welcome. Staff are friendly and caring.
My father was discharged from hospital into Amber Court for end-of-life care. Every single member of staff were extremely supportive & provided exceptional care & showed empathy & ensured dad retained his dignity until he passed away three weeks later. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Amber Court & team.
My mum has been in the Amber Court Care Home since February 1st 2025 following a stroke in December 2024. She is paralysed down her left side and is now bedridden. My mum also has dementia and unfortunately doesn't always know me now. The staff at Amber Court have been amazing with her. They are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Most importantly my mum is treated with care and dignity and is comfortable.
My mother was admitted two years ago this coming April from hospital as she was unable to go home as she needed ongoing care. We have found the staff to be extremely kind and considerate. My mother has been treated with kindness and dignity at all times. The staff are always smiling and welcoming and can't do enough for the patients. Overall the home gets 10 out of 10 from the family as they go the extra mile for my mum and we are extremely grateful for their services.
My father moved here last month after a temp stay elsewhere and I couldn't be happier. It is a million miles away from where he was, for the better. Since the moment he arrived I feel he has been looked after and most importantly is safe! The warmth & love my dad has received from day one is outstanding. He has picked up in his cognitive state and is encouraged with items such as building blocks. The manager is so supportive and very involved with the residents. It has made a sad situation of my dad going in to care a lot more bearable. I feel listened to as a relative too. I previously received daily phone calls to say he had fallen at the other home, don't get any now.

When my mother first went to Amber Court Care Home I was concerned about her care. Once she had settled in and got used to the staff she has started to eat and drink much better. They look after her extremely well and I think she is only alive due to her care. She has very complex needs due to dementia and physical illnesses and they are extremely understanding. I live outside the UK so it is a big relief to know she is well looked after.
When my mum was admitted to Amber Court Care Home, I was worried that she wouldn't settle there! But I was surprised and impressed with the care that Amber Court gives their residents to help them settle in and it's ongoing. The facility is clean, food is excellent there is so much for Mum to do. Mum has been there just over a year and the care is outstanding. They do keep the residents entertained and exercised. The staff are beyond excellent very happy with all of the hard work they do and the care. I know Mum is safe and in good hands. Thank you to you all.
I am very pleased with the quality of care that my grandmother is receiving at this care home. I have noticed notable improvements in her general well-being. The care staff are remarkably supportive and attentive, although there are occasional moments when they seem occupied or understaffed. It is reassuring to see my grandmother gaining weight, and the availability of food and beverages is ample. Her room is lovely and well-kept. The activity coordinator regularly provides engaging activities for my nana throughout the week.
Terrible experience, father only in a week when he was found on the floor, twice we arrived to find he had tipped a water jug all over the bed and he was laid in a soaking bed. Room was dirty, had to complain. Never any staff around, residents shouting for help and no one there to help them. Food was terrible and always cold. Would never recommend this home to anyone.
All of the staff and management at Amber Court Care Home are exceptional. They demonstrate qualities such as care, compassion, professionalism, and genuine kindness. Every time I visit, I am welcomed by the staff and witness the relaxed and happy demeanour of the residents. The residents not only receive excellent care and respect but also have the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of activities that bring them joy and laughter. My uncle speaks highly of the staff, emphasising that they go above and beyond for him. Amber Court Care Home is always clean and beautifully decorated to reflect different celebrations and seasons. Overall, I consider Amber Court to be an outstanding care home and have complete peace of mind when entrusting my uncle to their care.
We were very fortunate that Amber Court was able to look after my husband at his end of life. He was given a lovely room with en-suite facilities which meant I didn’t need to leave him alone at all. They allowed me to stay with him and were so very kind. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were very attentive to my husband’s needs and provided me with constant cups of coffee and meals that were exceptional quality. We were at Amber Court for a week and found the staff to be friendly and professional; the home itself was clean and tidy, the grounds were lovely, and other residents that I met during that short time seemed happy and content. End of Life is painful for everyone, but leaving the hospital to be at Amber Court for my husband’s last days was a blessing, and I thank you.
I am currently residing here in Amber Court for almost 1 year now. I am disabled due to NHS fault jab that was given to me when I was months old. Most of my life I was living in care homes. But for me, Amber Court is the best I have been before and I want to stay here the rest of my life. The staff are so caring and friendly they support me all the way. The manager is a great leader who always looks after us residents. The facility is great and clean. Activities are also great and well-being support that suit every resident’s interests. They also have a sense of inclusion for the residents because they appointed me as the resident’s counsellor/representative. I am grateful to them.
I am very happy here in Amber Court, I felt that we are all family here. I get on very well with everyone here. They are with me all the time. Food is good, my room is clean and tidy all the time. We have laughs together like one happy family. I love them all.
The management and staff are very friendly and welcoming to me and my dad is treated with care and understanding. I am really impressed with the activities provided, including them buying my dad a harmonica to play. The activities co-ordinator also sends me updates and videos. My dad quickly settled in and seems happy with his new placement.
The care my Father receives is second to none. He is bed bound, has dementia and is catheterised, but this doesn’t stop him being involved with activities. He is often taken from his bed in a modified wheelchair to be included in these. The home have provided fidget equipment and blankets to keep him occupied. They also provided him with a harmonica, which he often played many years ago. This has brought him much enjoyment. The staff and management go above and beyond to provide wonderful friendly care without prompting. My Father had been in two nursing homes previously where he was neglected and left isolated in his room with no stimulation whatsoever, other than a television. The staff here are friendly and approachable and very open and informative, nothing is too much trouble. Amber Court Care Home ticks all the boxes for treating your loved one with care and compassion and I 100% recommend them wholeheartedly!
