My mum has been with Amber Court for 7 months and is having excellent care from the lovely staff that are taking care of her. I am very grateful for the kindness that they have shown my mum and support to my family at such a difficult period in our lives.
Everyone at Amber Court will be encouraged by your kind words and are privileged to care for your Mum.
I have been to other carehomes and nothing to compare the Amber Court. Staff are caring, food is great and my room is spacious. Also, the Lifestyle team are making sure I am supported in my weekly going out to Cafe a near restaurants. It is my weekly habit now. I am more than happy here.
Thank you for taking the time to write this lovely review of Amber Court. We are so happy you feel settled her, and that you have found a routine that you enjoy. I will share your kind words with the team and they will be delighted to hear your thoughts.
I am living in amber court. I love being here. Staff are caring and making sure that I am supported. I like the brickwork effect in my room. I am nominated as residents champion and they always ask my opinion regarding the activities, food, designs and anything to improve the home in our monthly resident's meeting with Delma.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoy living at Amber Court and feel supported by our caring team. It's wonderful to have you as our Residents' Champion, your ideas and feedback truly help us make the home even better.
My husband spent the last seven months of his life in the home full of lovely, caring, kind staff, led by a lovely manager.
He and I were both throughly and lovingly supported right through and beyond the end.
The staff care way beyond what you might expect.
They carry out their duties efficiently, but also care so much and so genuinely.
I will be for ever grateful that my husband gently left this world surrounded by love.
Delma, Amber Court staff, all of you, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I have already submitted ratings in the categories, but they don't all seem relevant at this time.
Thank you so much for sharing such a heartfelt review. It means the world to our team to know that your husband felt truly cared for, and that you felt supported throughout. We're deeply grateful for your kind words, and it was a privilege to be there for you both.
All I can say is excellent, staff, manager so lovely. The staff went over and above for my aunt. The communication between everyone was really good and the cheerfulness of the staff made me smile. Thanks again
Thank you for the lovely response regarding the care of your Aunt at Amber Court, I'm so pleased that you were happy with the care provided, I will pass the appreciation onto the staff and manager.
Amber Court is a lovely home, my daughter in law is here as well for how many years. No problem at all. Staff are caring, lovely and very good to me. I couldn't thank them enough for taking good care of me.
Came here in February 2025 . The rooms are very nice and warm. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of activities for residents. Each room had its own television and bathroom.
Only comment negatively would be some of the food for the price.
I was very impressed with the home, I did see others and there is no comparison at all.. it is like home away from home with lots of activities for the residents.
Amber Court goes out of their way to accommodate residents and family where it is warranted.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are delighted that you are happy with the service provided to your mum at Amber Court. We will share your comments with the team who will appreciate such positive feedback.
I can't tell you how plased I am with Amber Court. It far exceeds my expectations. It is clean. The staff are wonderful. We like to sit out in the garden on a sunny day. I like the fact that the staff are so cheerful while they are working. I was in pain a couple of times in the night, and within a short space of time, a nurse appeared to help me. I feel happy and safe.
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback.I am delighted that you are happy with the service provided at Amber Court and that the staff are responsive to your needs. We will be sure to share your lovely comments with the staff team.I can see from your rating that there are some...
I have visited on several occasions this month and every time have been greeted by friendly staff with smiles on their faces. I have always been treated with courtesy and I am given the impression that nothing is too much trouble for them. I help take the resident out by wheelchair and they are always ready to go and have necessary weather protection with them. The place is always clean and smells nice, unlike my recollection of many years ago of similar places.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I am pleased that you always feel welcome when visiting Amber Court. We will be sure to share your feedback with the team who will appreciate your lovely comments.
I am in Amber Court for years now. Overall I am happy because they provide the care and support I needed. I was admitted here mid of 2020 and very poorly due to COVID and Amber Court help me to recover until I've been independent and well. I can't thank the amber court enough for what they have done and what they are continuing doing. Now I am I would definitely recommend Amber Court.

My father was discharged from hospital into Amber Court for end-of-life care. Every single member of staff were extremely supportive & provided exceptional care & showed empathy & ensured dad retained his dignity until he passed away three weeks later. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Amber Court & team.
Thank you for your kind feedback. We are pleased that you've had a good experience considering the difficult circumstances. I'll share your feedback with the team who I'm sure will be delighted to hear your comments.
My mum has been in the Amber Court Care Home since February 1st 2025 following a stroke in December 2024. She is paralysed down her left side and is now bedridden. My mum also has dementia and unfortunately doesn't always know me now. The staff at Amber Court have been amazing with her. They are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Most importantly my mum is treated with care and dignity and is comfortable.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review. We are so pleased that you're happy with the care being provided. I'll be sure to pass on your comments to the team.
My mother was admitted two years ago this coming April from hospital as she was unable to go home as she needed ongoing care. We have found the staff to be extremely kind and considerate. My mother has been treated with kindness and dignity at all times. The staff are always smiling and welcoming and can't do enough for the patients. Overall the home gets 10 out of 10 from the family as they go the extra mile for my mum and we are extremely grateful for their services.
My father moved here last month after a temp stay elsewhere and I couldn't be happier. It is a million miles away from where he was, for the better. Since the moment he arrived I feel he has been looked after and most importantly is safe! The warmth & love my dad has received from day one is outstanding. He has picked up in his cognitive state and is encouraged with items such as building blocks. The manager is so supportive and very involved with the residents. It has made a sad situation of my dad going in to care a lot more bearable. I feel listened to as a relative too. I previously received daily phone calls to say he had fallen at the other home, don't get any now.
Thank you for such kind words regarding Amber Court, I am so pleased that you are happy with the care we are providing for your father, we will share this with the rest of the team.
I visit most week days for a few hours , I am always greeted with a smile ,
All the staff members ,make my mum feel special ,just simple things like brush her hair , its just those little things little details
Mum has really come out of her shell in Amber Court , a large part is activities , from her fave , bowling with a big velcro thing ?,
Mums always trying to beat her high score ...oh yes and family members can have a go as well
Amber Court was recommended by two personal friends , both had their Mothers at the Home
I was told about the singing , it appears most of the staff can sing , play an instrument , bar one mentioning no names. they just sing while they work , or put on impromptu shows , it's like Britains got Talent in that "Party Room "
When my mother first went to Amber Court Care Home I was concerned about her care. Once she had settled in and got used to the staff she has started to eat and drink much better. They look after her extremely well and I think she is only alive due to her care. She has very complex needs due to dementia and physical illnesses and they are extremely understanding. I live outside the UK so it is a big relief to know she is well looked after.
I am pleased that you are happy with the care provided for your Mum, our staff at Amber Court do always aim to deliver care to the highest standard and I am pleased that you feel reassured.
