We were greeted warmly, told where to find Pat. Pat was wheeled outside to chat with us in the garden. Pat was full of chatter about the BBQ, car wash, and dancing (he was tapping his feet to the music as we arrived). What wonderful staff - warm, friendly, so caring and loving to Pat, sharing videos of what Pat's been up to. Thank you all for helping him adapt to his new home.

Overall Experience

Staff are very friendly and helpful to the patient to settle in. Not always easy when the person has always been independent. You can ask them anything. Plenty of activities to do for the patients. Mother in law only been here a few weeks so hopefully in time she might join in some activities. Room is nice has everything you need. Food lovely.

Mum was scared and has complex needs but we need not worry, incredibly well run and all the staff are positive, kind , caring and safe people for mum. We can not praise Tuxford Manor enough for making mums first week a good experience for everyone.

Overall Experience

Upon arrival entrance is always clean + tidy. When greeted all members of the team are friendly. Nothing is ever an issue if questions needed to be asked, everyone is more than happy to help. Housekeeping Bev, Joanne, Shemi + Lynn go above and beyond daily and are all very friendly. Juice is always offered before jugs are empty. The care home itself has a homely feeling to it.

Sarah and Kerry run a very good ship. All carers very good and helpful. Housekeepers run by Bev and her team very friendly also go above and beyond daily. John maintenance man also needs a mention on his work with garden plants hanging baskets which makes the home welcoming

Manor Park Care Home have looked after my husband Chris W for the end of his life with cancer, he suffered a horrific time + Paulette to her staff have looked after him Royal and he was hard work even to the end, I would reccomend Manor Park to anyone for there family or loved ones gave me my husband 100%. I find Tenlands very friendly and helpful. All staff are pleasant and great with all residents. I have just have 4 days away and it is the first time in 4 years I have gone away without worrying about mam.

Management team are very approachable I would not hesitate to say if I wasn't happy with something.

It is a really welcoming care home where the staff always go the extra mile
The residents are happy and there is always some kind of entertainment going on
The home recently was awarded the Veterans Home award I went along to the event where veterans and there families where given afternoon tea the mayor as well as family members attended
I have nothing but admiration for this award winning care home I have been actively involved for the last ten years both as the local councillor and X mayor of Barnsley
I have seen this care home involved over the last ten years

I have now retired but visit the care home on a regular basis

My mum has been in Manor Park for about 6 years. Since Paulette has taken up her role as Home Manager there has been a noticible improvement in the retainment of staff & acare delivered.
My mum is on end of life care and as a family we could not have had any better care.
Staff have been excellent, showing care & compassion & professional & extremely attentive to my mum & our families needs.

My mum has been here 4 years and I have to say she has been very happy and well cared for, the staff go that extra mile to make sure she is comfortable, this last couple of weeks my mum has declined quite a lot and everyone at the care home have been very supportive of my mum and I , some even going that extra extra mile with us , I will always be grateful for making not just mums but my experience pleasant, knowing I can go to work and not be worried because all staff really do care.

Overall Experience

The staff go above and beyond. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and I feel my dad is in good care. Chloe has looked after myself and my dads care plan and is keeping me informed along the way. Dad enjoys his meals each day and his personal needs too are catered for. Everyone is so friendly and caring.
