Massive thank you to you and your staff, it means a lot to me knowing my mother is getting the care she deserves in her twilight days. She's in a happy and safe environment and is well cared for by Tenlands and it gives me great peace of mind. Well-run home, staff so friendly, and greeting when I arrive.

Management and all staff do a very good job. Nothing seems to be a problem; all very friendly. Very clean and tidy establishment. Always happy to help with the smallest of issues.

Upon arrival entrance is always clean + tidy. When greeted all members of the team are friendly. Nothing is ever an issue if questions needed to be asked, everyone is more than happy to help. Housekeeping Bev, Joanne, Shemi + Lynn go above and beyond daily and are all very friendly. Juice is always offered before jugs are empty. The care home itself has a homely feeling to it.

Sarah and Kerry run a very good ship. All carers very good and helpful. Housekeepers run by Bev and her team very friendly also go above and beyond daily. John maintenance man also needs a mention on his work with garden plants hanging baskets which makes the home welcoming

Management team are very approachable I would not hesitate to say if I wasn't happy with something.

Found staff very pleasant, attentive and treat my brother with dignity and respect. Freshly prepared and balanced meals are available with tea and coffee in between meals. Facilitates are exceptionally clean; well maintained and beautifully decorated. Feel my brother is in a safe environment.

Church View Care home is a jewel in the crown for carehomes in the North East region. It is part of the local community and is the recommended place to be. The staff are generally from the local community and are proud of their connection. They chat with the residents knowledgeably about their past and previous lives reassuringly on a daily basis. All of the staff are cheerful, welcoming and work as part of a team supporting the residents and each other. As a visiting relative I feel valued. My mum is being totally cared for but still allowed to be independent. Despite having challenging times with dementia occasionally, the staff respond appropriately. Under new ownership the home is gradually being refurbished to improve an already good environment.

My dad has been in the care home for over five years and has always received excellent care. The home is very clean and the rooms are well maintained. I am always kept informed of my dads health and of any incidents occur. The management are very approachable and helpful.

My experience in Tenlands Care Home has been excellent, the staff are friendly and will help anyway they can. The food is always great. Management can't be faulted they are always nice. Activities are always fun and engaging. Overall 10/10

Tenlands is now my mams home. When she asks, 'is this where I stay now?', I ask, 'are you happy here?' She always replies 'yes it is very nice'. Christmas 2025 was the 1st year that I could not spend Christmas Day with mam in her own home and make lunch there. I was asked if I would like to join the Tenlands family and have lunch with mam in the conservatory. A delightful surprise to which I agreed. We both had a wonderful time, mam opened gifts, we enjoyed a gorgeous meal (mam kept saying, and I echoed 'compliments to the chef!') and pulled crackers (mam won both rounds!) She had a marvellous, if exhausting day and did a little video to say thank you from her bed as she was worn out. Thank you to all of the Tenlands team for making the day so special.

The care provided at Church View is excellent. The home is bright and clean with good living spaces. The food is varied and well cooked. The staff are professional and caring and do their best to make the residents feel at home. A special mention must go to the lifestyle team who put in a huge amount of effort to keep the residents engaged and active. There are organised activities most days which all are encouraged to join. In my view the residents are treated with respect and kindness.

Christmas dinner, very professionally done, all staff joined in to make it a brilliant occasion. Had a wonderful time and Mam did too. It was very nice to speak to other people, catch up and meet new too. Brilliant event.

Beautiful care home, lovely care workers wtih amazing skills looking after my mum with dementia. 5 stars all the way from the family. Managers are professional/caring and understanding on family and mums needs. 5 stars all the way.

I can't express how grateful I am to have found your home to care for my dad. The first time I came to visit, I walked in and instantly felt it was a 'home' not someones job. The care from the staff, all the staff is exemplary. As a family it has helped make the awful decision to place dad in care so much easier. We all feel comfortable, contented and safe leaving him when we go home. Words can't express it fully. Just thank you so much.

My Aunty is currently in respite and the care delivery is excellent. As a family we feel so lucky to have found Church View. Staff are very friendly always happy and the care they provide is outstanding. The food is lovely and the home is spotless on every visit. We hope this will be my aunty permanent home very soon. We were worried about leaving her in the home but she settled in straight away. She regards it as her forever home now. All our fears of life in a care home were dispelled in Tenlands and we are comfortable with her well-fare. She also chats with other patients and keeps cheerful.

Mam has been in Church View for 10 months now. Her care has been outstanding in all aspects. The staff also provide the family with care and compassion which is much appreciated. I used to work as a community nurse, for people with dementia and this is one of the nicest care homes I have been in.
