We were greeted warmly, told where to find Pat. Pat was wheeled outside to chat with us in the garden. Pat was full of chatter about the BBQ, car wash, and dancing (he was tapping his feet to the music as we arrived). What wonderful staff - warm, friendly, so caring and loving to Pat, sharing videos of what Pat's been up to. Thank you all for helping him adapt to his new home.

Lovely staff that are very caring and a lot of fun to be around. They can't do enough for you and my sister loves all the activities that they do. Top marks 10/10 x

Mum was scared and has complex needs but we need not worry, incredibly well run and all the staff are positive, kind , caring and safe people for mum. We can not praise Tuxford Manor enough for making mums first week a good experience for everyone.

Tuxford Manor is very much 'home' to both my sister and brother-in-law who have been here over 3 years. This home has been the best thing to ever happen to this pair who have been taken care of and looked after in such a warm and comforting environment by warm and friendly staff.

Mum moved to Tuxford Manor under stressful circumstances. Since living here she has begun to thrive again and has regained her personality and dignity all thanks to the fantastic staff and care home manager. Tuxford Manor is homely, well-maintained and all the staff really care about every resident, treating them with respect and kindness. My family and I can't thank Tuxford Manor enough for all they do for Mum!

Facilties were in good condition and the place was clean. I met several residents and all seemed well taken care of and all the staff knew each one as individuals and each ones personal needs.

Best of all, it's always so obvious that everyone working there really cares about making a difference.

My Dad went into Tuxford Manor for some Respite care as he was really struggling. Pleased to say that after a few weeks he was so much better and ready to go back home. I found all the staff so kind and caring. Always smiling, it was a pleasure to go and visit. A real home from home for the residents, who all seemed settled in such a calm and caring environment. I would highly recommend.

Excellent home, clean and tidy! very caring staff, they all have time for each resident, always doing great activities, baking, crafts gardening and a favourite with most residents having a good old sing song!

I came to visit dad on Saturday, I had such a reaffirming of the care shown to the residents. Sat with dad while he slept, I heard two of the carers singing to the residents while showering them. It was nice to know that even without family members present they still devoted their time and care to the residents.

Due to the short time my wife has been in Tuxford Manor Care Home, I have found the management and staff have kept me well informed on everything that has to do with her health and welfare. For which I am truly grateful and thank them for that and know how hard they all work. A big thank you to all.

Mum went into care at Tuxford Manor at the end of October 2024. This was a very stressful time for me and my husband, I have got to say this is a fabulous care home, very caring and compassionate, like one big family. They understood our concerns and made it easier for her to transition into full-time care. I love going to see her here and I know she is looked after and safe.

My brother is a resident at Tuxford Manor. I would like to express my best wishes and immense gratitude to the management and staff. They have shown compassion and warmth to my brother, which I will eternally remember. Words cannot express how grateful I am. Thank you all so very much.

The facility care manager is amazing! The care staff and nursing staff are attentive and compassionate. Through my entire experience at Tuxford Manor visiting my brother-in-law, I've been beyond impressed with how willing, supportive and understanding they've been. Would highly recommend this facility. Staff at Manor Lodge are marvellous. Our wedding anniversary is on October 3rd, I brought buns and cake in on October 2nd and asked if we could have 3 plates for tomorrow. "Yes, of course, why did you not tell a member of staff it was your anniversary?" (I never gave it thought, men never do!). We were greeted with a plate full of sandwiches and drinks. Thank you all. It made a nice afternoon.

My mum had a fall and was in hospital for 2 weeks. The hospital doctor said she couldn't walk or sit in a chair unaided. She couldn't use the toilet or ear and drink unaided. After one month at Tuxford Manot she is walking with her trolley, sitting up, eating and drinking unaided. Using the toilet unaided. She has made a remarkable recovery all due to the wonderful staff and carers and the professional care they have provided.

Mum has been a resident for over 18 months now and I can honestly say that from the first day Mum arrived after being transferred from the hospital on a temporary visit that we decided Mum was so well looked after and made to feel so welcome that we decided not to move her and was 100% the best decision.

Staff always willing to help even though they are always busy. Staff and management always on hand to answer any queries or questions I had while Mum was staying with them.

The staff from the manager down work with you to give a lovely atmosphere and are always very helpful.
