Sheila (mother in law) went into Thornhill for respite, she was depressed, wanted to die, was using a wheelchair and unable to walk any distance unaided. She loved the whole experience and actually looking forward to her next visit.

My mum has been a resident for just short of 3years, at Thornhill House. At the end of, October the manager and staff were worried about her health. The whole team played their own part in getting the correct treatment and hospitalisation. Mum had, Pneumonia and, Heart failure. After her release from, Hospital. They realised she still was not getting any better. So with swift action on the teams part, mum was readmitted to, Hospital for a further 5 days. If it wasn't for the team at, Thornhill my mum wouldn't be here today. They are all angels. And I class them as friends.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt message. We're incredibly touched by your words - it means everything to know the team made such a difference. Your mum is very special to us, and we're so glad she's doing better.

My mum has been in the care of Thornhill house now for almost two years. During this time she has been very well cared for and is happy there. I find the staff very helpful as her mobility is not good. She enjoys the outings that are sorted for her and the other residents. She also enjoys the activities and the singers etc that are put on on a quite regular basis. She enjoys her showers and loves her bed time especially when it has been bed changing day. (Nothing like fresh bedding). All in all I am happy with the way she is treated and cared for she is too.
