Thornhill House is a vibrant care home and acknowledges the need for stimulation for the brain and exercise through dance and music which is an excellent therapy. The staff and management go above and beyond to integrate with the local community, encouraging engagement with local schools and businesses.

Overall, excellent care provided by a team of dedicated staff and a wonderful manager. Plenty of activities organised to keep the residents busy and engaged. Everyone involved in the running of Thornhill House deserves credit for the service and care provided.

Absolutely brilliant staff/management and care home! looked after my Nan with so much care and compassion, nothing was ever too much! They made all the family welcome day and night even the kids. The rooms were clean and decorated to her wishes which made it feel a little bit more like home for her.

Thornhill House is an excellent care home. All of the staff show true care for all the residents and nothing is too much trouble. When visitors arrive you are greeted as part of the family- which is truly what the staff and residents are. All of the residents are treated with dignity and respect and
their thoughts and wishes are listened to and acted on. My friend moved to Thornhill House following problems with the home she was residing in originally. The love and care shown to her have brought her out of her shell and she is now living her best life. It makes my heart smile to see her so very happy. I would not hesitate for one second to recommend Thornhill House to anyone looking for a residential setting for their loved one.

A lovely nursing home does so much for the people that are in there when I get older it's where I would like to go 10 out of 10 in every way they get residents involved in so many different activities the singers they get in are good the staff treat them as there own family members.

Thornhill is a wonderful care home. Full of laughter all the time. The activities are great. Wonderful management and extremely caring staff. I could not wish for a better place for my loved one to live.

I wish to commend the manager and all the staff of Thornhill for the consistent care and support they give to my mum whilst she is a resident there. The staff go over and above to make sure she is included in activities. On her 90th birthday in September, they made sure all the family were welcome to
help her celebrate and provided a lovely tea party for us all. The staff knew mum’s needs and it was evident that they knew how to support her. We couldn’t wish for a more supportive, caring and friendly environment for mum and we are confident she is safe happy and comfortable there.

This care home goes above and beyond to care for there residents. The staff always have time to talk to the residents even if there busy with other duties. I would not have my mother anywhere else but here.Thornhill your fantastic.

My mum was transferred to Thornhill after surgery on her broken femur at 87 years old. She was there for a short stay until her physio could begin for her to regain mobility. Thornhill is a family, the full team of staff and management engage with residents friends and relatives who visit each other
in a lovely respectful and caring manner. It is an upbeat environment with lots of activities and laughter which oozes warmth. Sadly mum passed away quite suddenly a few days ago and thank every member of Thornhill for the care she received up to her leaving us.

My mother-in-law was so looked after and cared for. The staff were so loving to her and us as a family, the management was very good, she was always reluctant to go into care but the home was amazing.
The manager did my mother-in-law's funeral and was so personal.

The staff are truly amazing. I work nationwide. The care staff always make sure I am able to visit my relatives and try to suit my schedule for visits, not theirs.
The staff are always welcoming and friendly and always maintain an exceptional level of care towards my Nan. I do feel at ease and peace

Whenever I visit Thornhill I am always treated with the utmost respect and made to feel really welcome by the management and staff. I am amazed by all the activities and entertainment provided for the service users. The staff are always friendly and funny and show really good teamwork. Having worked
in this environment myself for 25 years I am really impressed with how this home is run and managed.

Thornhill is a wonderful care home. Mum has been a resident there now for two years and is very happy and settled. All staff go above and beyond in the care of all the residents. There is always something happening for the residents and families are warmly welcomed along too, singers, afternoon tea
and trips out to mention only a few things that are arranged. It has been a huge relief for my sisters and me to know that our mum is being looked after with love, kindness and consideration. The staff listen to any concerns about Mum we may have and deal with them promptly and considerately.
I would highly recommend Thornhill to anyone considering a care home for a family member.

Until the passing of my mum, I could not fault the care and attention the staff and manager gave my mum and other residents. When my mum went into Thornhill House she was given back a life. On the day she passed, the manager stepped up ferrying our family to the care home and treating us all with respect
and compassion. I will never forget it, thank you.

Mum is very happy and settled. All staff are very caring and always has the residents best interests in mind. The manager makes sure residents always have entertainment and activities to look forward to, I would recommend Thornhill House in a heart beat the standard of care is 5 star.

Thornhill House Care Home took in my aunt on short notice when she was very low and unable to care for herself after being in hospital. They encouraged her in her mobility and built up her self-esteem. The home has good leadership and the staff are kind and compassionate. The atmosphere is lovely and
welcoming to residents and families. They supported my aunt in her personal growth so she was able to live back independently in the community. Even though she has now left, my family are now part of the Thornhill family and we have made many friends there and still visit with my aunt.

Look after residents really well, friendly staff and lots of activities. Home is clean and well presented. Access is secure. All meals and refreshments seem to be regular and good quality. Mother-in-law is very happy there.
