I am very happy with the way Amber Care Nursing Home has protected it's staff and residents during this pandemic. I happen to have a friend in the home who I visit from time to time, during my visit a few days ago, I was highly impressed with the care and PPE Amber Court Nursing home has provided for
its staff, residents and visitors. This review is to say a big thank you and well done to the management and staff of Amber Court Nursing Home for their care and support to their residents, visitors and families.

Very nice looking building from the outside, not been inside yet. Very friendly and helpful staff. They take great care of my dad and consistently monitor his condition. Nothing else to say at the moment.

I am very impressed with the care and protection the resident in Amber Court Nursing Home is given, during my visit to my friend I was given a nice welcome by the staff, my temperature was checked and I was given PPE to wear before my friend was wheeled to the garden to chat with me, he looked well
and properly cared for and all the staff had proper PPE, this delighted my heart because I knew immediately that he was in safe care, we stayed 2 meters apart and refreshments were offered to me. I am very happy with the care and protection Amber Court is providing to its staffs and residents. The team in Amber Court is run by very caring management and staff the residents are well protected, I would recommend this care home to anyone and I am making arrangements to get my aunty in the home as I am 100% impressed with the way my friend, other residents and staff looked during my visit and the way the home protects its resident and staffs.

My father was transferred from hospital to Amber Court for end of life care. He was there for ten days, and as a family, we could not have wished for any care that was more loving, professional and dedicated that not only he received but that was given our family as well. A mark of any good organisation
is how colleagues relate to each other. All the staff had great respect for each other and this was transparent in the care given to my dad as well as to other residents. I am so glad that we chose Amber Court for his final days. Thanks to the manager and all the wonderful staff there. You are outstanding.

Outstanding overall care at Amber Court. The staff are warm, friendly and compassionate towards both the residents and relatives creating a positive and calm environment. My mum spent 18 months in Amber Court and passed away there in June 2018. The staff are truly wonderful. They are compassionate, caring and treat the residents and their relatives like family. Mum had a difficult end and I will be forever grateful for the care and attention they gave not only to her
but to me too. It was a great comfort to know she had been looked after by such lovely people.

My mother was here for respite for the last two weeks prior to this, she’s been several different care homes but this one is by far the best. Staff and manager are lovely and very helpful and is a pleasure to be in a nice home and our family are very happy with the care that is provided. Will recommend

I have just returned home after spending one week of respite here. I found the entire experience very enjoyable. I found all the staff friendly, caring very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. My room was spacious, tastefully decorated and comfortable. Common areas were very comfortable,
light and airy. Meal times were my favourite! Food was lovely and had a varied menu. The cake was the best, I love cake.
I recommend this home, I will be returning myself in future for more respite.
Once again, I found the entire team great, and for that, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

My mother came to Amber Court after her bungalow was flooded in a storm, for the short term. The home is very clean, friendly and welcoming. all the staff are very helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The bedrooms are large and nicely decorated and warm.


The dining room and lounge area

is also very welcoming and warm. Overall the home is very nice and I would recommend it.

The staff always made us welcome and Dad was happy there. He moved there from another home and the difference was amazing.
His room was light and bright and we were able to bring personal items in to make the room more like 'home'.
The staff were always helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
Sadly
our dad passed away on Friday and the staff were very supportive of the whole family.

My mother spent 14 months in Amber Court Care Home but sadly died on 9/10/17. The staff always made us feel welcome and my father was able to spend Xmas day with her. She was always clean and cared for and when she died, I was able to be with her. The staff on duty were caring and supporting and mum
died with dignity, care and love.

When I first came I was in a really poor condition, but the personnel from this home helped me so well and after a few months, I got better and better. I am really pleased with all the help and treatment form all the people who work here! Thanks to them, I am much better.

The management and staff have given my mother the most wonderful care over the past fourteen months. Unfortunately, she passed away recently but all the staff have been fantastic right up to the end of her life.

My mother was recently in the Amber Court Nursing Home, Blackpool for a short period for end of life care. I can't give the manager and her well trained staff enough praise for the professional way they handled the situation.
My mother was given the respect and dignity she deserved in the last hours
of her life, for that I will be forever grateful.

My dad was only in Amber Court Care Home for only one week, but in that time everyone was so kind to him and my family. The staff work very hard as a team and management are part of this team and very hands on, which is refreshing in this day and age. My family would highly recommend this care/nursing
