Amber Court Care Home

No problems to date. My brother appears to be comfortable and well looked after.

My mother came to Amber Court after her bungalow was flooded in a storm, for the short term. The home is very clean, friendly and welcoming. all the staff are very helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The bedrooms are large and nicely decorated and warm.

The dining room and lounge area is also very welcoming and warm. Overall the home is very nice and I would recommend it.

Staff and management were very caring and supportive. Food good, rooms light and airy and can be personalised.

Sadly our dad passed away on Friday and the staff were very supportive of the whole family.

My mother spent 14 months in Amber Court Care Home but sadly died on 9/10/17. The staff always made us feel welcome and my father was able to spend Xmas day with her. She was always clean and cared for and when she died, I was able to be with her. The staff on duty were caring and supporting and mum died with dignity, care and love.

When I first came I was in a really poor condition, but the personnel from this home helped me so well and after a few months, I got better and better. I am really pleased with all the help and treatment form all the people who work here! Thanks to them, I am much better.

I cannot thank you all enough.

My dad was only in Amber Court Care Home for only one week, but in that time everyone was so kind to him and my family. The staff work very hard as a team and management are part of this team and very hands on, which is refreshing in this day and age. My family would highly recommend this care/nursing home.

Mum has been here 5 years and under the circumstances, we couldn't have asked for better care. Amber Court has helped us as a family to accept what had happened to mum and supported us as well as mum. The staff have been like a second family and have gone above and beyond taking time to build a relationship with us all. Mum has improved massively during her time here and we are so so grateful for everything. Past staff and current staff thank you all so much.

He needed privacy, comfort and dignity, that was delivered in spades by Amber Court. They were absolutely fantastic.

Dad was looked after very well at Amber Court Care Home and treated with respect. He made friends with most of the staff and he was well liked. Could not have lived in a better home.

My mother was only in the home for 4 weeks but had excellent care and treatment right up to her death. I and my two brothers all thought everything was excellent.

Well my sister-in-law was unable to tend to herself anymore and the staff made her so welcome, she said I don't know why I didn't come sooner. She has been in hospital a couple of times, they visited her and when she came back. They looked after her, her meals in her room. As I visit a lot I see the care the staff take of all the people.

The carers are so helpful, good to me at night as I don't sleep well.

My mother spent her final 3 months at Amber Court. Out of all of the homes we visited, Amber Court stood head and shoulders above the rest. I have nothing but praise for all of the staff here. They were friendly, caring, considerate and compassionate towards my mother and the family. During her final weeks, the staff ensured she received the best care possible, nothing was too much trouble for them. Although my mother has now passed away, I am so grateful for the short time she spent at Amber Court. On days where we were unable to visit, it was good to know that she was in excellent hands. Mum always had kind words for all of the staff. They made her feel welcome and more importantly, treated her like a real person, not just a resident. We all feel extremely lucky that we managed to get my mum a room here, and I will be grateful for all that the staff did for us for the rest of my life. Amber Court and all of the staff cannot be praised enough. Thank you for everything you have done.
