I am very pleased with the quality of care that my grandmother is receiving at this care home. I have noticed notable improvements in her general well-being. The care staff are remarkably supportive and attentive, although there are occasional moments when they seem occupied or understaffed. It is reassuring to see my grandmother gaining weight, and the availability of food and beverages is ample. Her room is lovely and well-kept. The activity coordinator regularly provides engaging activities for my nana throughout the week.

Terrible experience, father only in a week when he was found on the floor, twice we arrived to find he had tipped a water jug all over the bed and he was laid in a soaking bed. Room was dirty, had to complain. Never any staff around, residents shouting for help and no one there to help them. Food was terrible and always cold. Would never recommend this home to anyone.

My uncle speaks highly of the staff, emphasising that they go above and beyond for him. Amber Court Care Home is always clean and beautifully decorated to reflect different celebrations and seasons. Overall, I consider Amber Court to be an outstanding care home and have complete peace of mind when entrusting my uncle to their care.

He was given a lovely room with en-suite facilities which meant I didn’t need to leave him alone at all. They allowed me to stay with him and were so very kind. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were very attentive to my husband’s needs and provided me with constant cups of coffee and meals that were exceptional quality. We were at Amber Court for a week and found the staff to be friendly and professional; the home itself was clean and tidy, the grounds were lovely, and other residents that I met during that short time seemed happy and content. End of Life is painful for everyone, but leaving the hospital to be at Amber Court for my husband’s last days was a blessing, and I thank you.

I am currently residing here in Amber Court for almost 1 year now. I am disabled due to NHS fault jab that was given to me when I was months old. Most of my life I was living in care homes. But for me, Amber Court is the best I have been before and I want to stay here the rest of my life. The staff are so caring and friendly they support me all the way. The manager is a great leader who always looks after us residents. The facility is great and clean. Activities are also great and well-being support that suit every resident’s interests. They also have a sense of inclusion for the residents because they appointed me as the resident’s counsellor/representative. I am grateful to them.

I am very happy here in Amber Court, I felt that we are all family here. I get on very well with everyone here. They are with me all the time. Food is good, my room is clean and tidy all the time. We have laughs together like one happy family. I love them all.

The management and staff are very friendly and welcoming to me and my dad is treated with care and understanding. I am really impressed with the activities provided, including them buying my dad a harmonica to play. The activities co-ordinator also sends me updates and videos. My dad quickly settled in and seems happy with his new placement.

The care my Father receives is second to none. He is bed bound, has dementia and is catheterised, but this doesn’t stop him being involved with activities. He is often taken from his bed in a modified wheelchair to be included in these. The home have provided fidget equipment and blankets to keep him occupied. They also provided him with a harmonica, which he often played many years ago. This has brought him much enjoyment. The staff and management go above and beyond to provide wonderful friendly care without prompting. My Father had been in two nursing homes previously where he was neglected and left isolated in his room with no stimulation whatsoever, other than a television. The staff here are friendly and approachable and very open and informative, nothing is too much trouble. Amber Court Care Home ticks all the boxes for treating your loved one with care and compassion and I 100% recommend them wholeheartedly!

My wife has been a resident for nearly 2 months now, the staff are so friendly and helpful. They go the extra mile to make sure that she is comfortable, happy and well looked after. Nothing is too much trouble, I am informed of any treatments or any changes that are being put in place. Whenever I or family visit we are always greeted with a smile.

I find Amber Court very nice, friendly, and relaxing for my mother. The staff are very friendly and helpful and polite and I know my mother is getting the best care which puts me at ease.

I have visited my friend a couple of times in Amber Court. And he is doing great in this home, and the staff are taking good care of him. A big thanks also to their home manager; she is very welcoming. The staff are friendly, and everyone looks happy. The home is clean, and the ambience is nice. I have noticed also that they have daily activities going on, and that will be great for my friend.

I would like to let you know how grateful I am for the excellent care my Dad receives at Amber Court Care Home. He is not the easiest of residents but the staff are so kind and understanding with him. Recently my Dad was re-assessed for Continuing Health Care - the staff at the home were very supportive in helping my sister and I to get the correct information and evidence in place to ensure the assessment reflected his needs accurately. I would like to specifically mention the manager and a member of staff in particular who are always there to answer questions and help us as well as ensuring my Dad is well looked after. Had a fantastic knowledge of my Dad’s needs in the CHC reassessment. Also, 2 other members of staff who do everything they can to help Dad and to support myself and my sister when we visit. One of them also gave up her day off to accompany and support my Dad at my Mum’s funeral. They are all a truly dedicated team and we are extremely grateful.

Staff extremely caring and helpful at all times. A difficult job carried out well.

My aunt was residing in Amber Court for a long time. My aunt is very happy with where she is right now because the staff are taking good care of her. I found the staff kind, friendly, and caring, especially some staff, they even offered me a cup of tea and a cake to eat. Also, on the day I visit, they are having entertainment, someone is singing for the residents. My aunt is singing together with her fellow residents and staff. What a lovely and joyful place. I am also very thankful to the Home Manager, who has been very supportive and welcoming to us. She is a great leader to Amber Court.

I feel that my Nan is well cared for at Amber Court. The staff are friendly and welcoming when I visit. My Nan is always clean, tidy, and looks well presented e.g. appropriate clothing. During covid, Amber Court I feel have everything in place to allow you to visit relatives but remain covid secure as much as they possibly can. I feel my Nan is happy in Amber Court and is stimulated by different activities that are provided for residents.

Every time I visit mum in Amber Court the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble and they will spend time discussing how mum is and any concerns they or I have. It appears a very well-run care home and my mum who has lived there for 3 years now is happy and contented. She receives excellent personal hygiene and is always dressed appropriately. Her favourite thing is the entertainer visit as she enjoys singing along to all the old-time favourites.

A friend of mine recommended Amber Court for which I will be eternally grateful. In this pandemic, they made sure he was kept safe and well and had his two vaccinations. The staff treat us both with respect and give my husband his dignity. He is kept clean and tidy but the only bugbear I have is that I hardly see him in the clothes I initially sent in. Other than that he is content.
