I have visited my friend a couple of times in Amber Court. And he is doing great in this home, and the staff are taking good care of him. A big thanks also to their home manager; she is very welcoming. The staff are friendly, and everyone looks happy. The home is clean, and the ambience is nice. I have
noticed also that they have daily activities going on, and that will be great for my friend.

I would like to let you know how grateful I am for the excellent care my Dad receives at Amber Court Care Home. He is not the easiest of residents but the staff are so kind and understanding with him. Recently my Dad was re-assessed for Continuing Health Care - the staff at the home were very supportive
in helping my sister and I to get the correct information and evidence in place to ensure the assessment reflected his needs accurately. I would like to specifically mention the manager and a member of staff in particular who are always there to answer questions and help us as well as ensuring my Dad is well looked after. Had a fantastic knowledge of my Dad’s needs in the CHC reassessment. Also, 2 other members of staff who do everything they can to help Dad and to support myself and my sister when we visit. One of them also gave up her day off to accompany and support my Dad at my Mum’s funeral. They are all a truly dedicated team and we are extremely grateful.

My mum has been in Amber Court for a few years now and the care she receives is wonderful. Everyone from management, reception, nurses and carers are so lovely and always there to help if you have any worries.
The kitchen staff prepare special meals for her that are always made to look appetising,
even though it all has to be liquidised for her now.
I feel she is always treated with the utmost dignity and is happy and content in her “ home”.
Thank you for everything you do to keep her smiling!

My aunt was residing in Amber Court for a long time. My aunt is very happy with where she is right now because the staff are taking good care of her. I found the staff kind, friendly, and caring, especially some staff, they even offered me a cup of tea and a cake to eat. Also, on the day I visit, they
are having entertainment, someone is singing for the residents. My aunt is singing together with her fellow residents and staff. What a lovely and joyful place. I am also very thankful to the Home Manager, who has been very supportive and welcoming to us. She is a great leader to Amber Court.

I feel that my Nan is well cared for at Amber Court. The staff are friendly and welcoming when I visit. My Nan is always clean, tidy, and looks well presented e.g. appropriate clothing. During covid, Amber Court I feel have everything in place to allow you to visit relatives but remain covid secure
as much as they possibly can. I feel my Nan is happy in Amber Court and is stimulated by different activities that are provided for residents.

Every time I visit mum in Amber Court the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble and they will spend time discussing how mum is and any concerns they or I have. It appears a very well-run care home and my mum who has lived there for 3 years now is happy and contented. She
receives excellent personal hygiene and is always dressed appropriately. Her favourite thing is the entertainer visit as she enjoys singing along to all the old-time favourites.

A friend of mine recommended Amber Court for which I will be eternally grateful. In this pandemic, they made sure he was kept safe and well and had his two vaccinations. The staff treat us both with respect and give my husband his dignity. He is kept clean and tidy but the only bugbear I have is that
I hardly see him in the clothes I initially sent in. Other than that he is content.

The staff were helpful, friendly and polite when both phoning the home to enquire about our brother and when arranging a visit. My sister and I were guided through the Covid lateral flow test process and advised on how to do this prior to visiting, therefore, allowing more time for a visit. Our brother
is cheerful and well cared for.

I haven't seen my friend for a long time as I live in Southport.
During my visit the staff were respectful and reassuring. Management spent a lengthy time with me to discuss my friend's condition and plan of care that they showed to me and made me sign.

Under recent circumstances with virus, I was not able to see my husband inside. But the care home allowed me to see my husband at the front entrance or at window, so I had limited contact. This was satisfactory for me.

I have visited the home during lunch-time to see my mother-in-law and found all members of staff to be very supportive and friendly. Also, the cleanliness and food was also to a very excellent standard. As was her bedroom and home in general. Furthermore, there was plenty of activities on offer both
for entertainment purposes along with a variety of activities that involve the residents to help with their interaction along with keeping them interested and active, which was always an excellent standard.

With the virus, it's been hard for my husband and I, just to see him once a week has been awful. They look after him ok, could do with more baths and showers also to find time to iron their clothes not put everything on a hot wash, it shrinks his clothes. Sometimes he says the food is good then he says
it's not, but that's Parkinson's for you. It would be lovely if they do more for them in the home, more outings and lots more entertainment. When this is finally over it will be lovely to give him a hug and a kiss.

I highly recommend Amber Court, my mother has been a resident for a few years and we are very happy with the high-quality care provided by the staff. All staff are highly attentive to the needs of the residents and go above and beyond to create a family-like atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble and
the staff listen to personal preferences and take these into account whilst looking after the residents.
Small touches that were appreciated include completely redecorating the room to my mum's preference when she arrived, it really helped make it feel like home.
The home itself is modern, clean and enjoyable to be in, with plenty of activities hosted during the week to keep everyone entertained and engaged in daily life. The food is fantastic quality and there are always plenty of options to choose from.
Overall we are very happy that we discovered Amber Court when we were looking at care homes and would recommend it to anyone looking for top-quality care provided by friendly staff.

Amber Court Care Home has helped my mum to be independent, her communication, personal and general well-being has been improved since her stay in this home. I was afraid at first to have my mum in a care home but I am very impressed with the care given to my mum. During this difficult time in the world,
