Team make everyone feel welcome, take their time to get to know the residents and their relatives, remember all the details you tell them. Really attentive and put thought into everyday, really fun atmosphere

I cannot thank the team enough for the way they've embraced my nan. They don't just "care" for her; they treat her like family. Nothing is too much trouble, they have taken her on wonderful days out into the community, they always put her needs first. Every time I drop by, usually unannounced, the
home is always clean and well presented. It is such a comfort to know she is in such kind, capable hands.

Both my sister and I would like to thank all the amazing staff at Old Shenfield Place (OSP) for caring for our lovely mum and dad in the most kind, caring and respectful way.
We could not have wished for a better place for mum and dad to see out their final years. We cannot thank you enough for all
the wonderful photos you have shared of mum and dad taking part in the activities and trips out. These photos will always be cherished by us.
Mum came to love the large tv lounge. Whilst we are heartbroken that our dear mum is sadly no longer with us, we have comfort knowing that she fell asleep in her lovely cosy room with familiar faces close by.
OSP and the residents have become an extended family to us and we will so miss visiting you on a regular basis.

I'm so glad we found Old Shenfield Place for mum. After being discharged from hospital she was moved to a temporary care home which was not a great place. If you don't think there's much difference between care homes, believe me there is! Cristina and the team are absolutely wonderful and nothing is
too much for them. They genuinely treat the residents like a family and get to know them as individuals, quirks and all! Everyone gets treated with dignity and sometimes it's the little touches that make a huge difference.
The staff are polite, friendly, knowledgeable and seem like they want to be there, which I think stems from Cristina's positive energy.
They have an in-house activities co-ordinator and every time we visit something is going on, from quizzes to painting to visits from local nursery children.
I live 150 miles away and knowing that mum is safe and well looked after here is a huge relief.

What a beautiful place. The levels of exemplary care which continues to be given is impressive and so appreciated. During a very delicate time, my Grandad is comfortable, looked after with dignity and really cared about. Thank you.

Very impressed with the care given to my mother-in-law. She is treated with empathy and respect. Everytime we visit she is dressed well and well appointed. The residents have an active social life and I enjoyed seeing the photos of the recent Remembrance Day activity.

I am very pleased to see my friend happy and well looked after in Old Shenfield Place.
There is nothing more I could ask for my friend than Old Shenfield Place. I know in my heart she is loved, cared for and happy there.
I have no doubt that when my time comes, I will want to stay at Old
Shenfield too.

Staff are always welcoming and helpful. Food is good and plentiful and residents are encouraged to eat and drink. Rooms are nicely decorated and kept spotless at all times.
There is always a good atmosphere throughout the facility.

Since visiting my friend here, I have noticed how caring all the staff are to their residents and that they are treated with respect and dignity they deserve. Also, they welcome visitors in a friendly manner.

Staff and manager are very welcoming. I do not have to make an appointment to visit, I just turn up. The premises are clean and well kept. A nice environment to live in. A beautiful garden. A dedicated activity coordinator to keep the residents busy. A very good home.

What lovely, lovely people. So kind and so patient! Always cheerful and always offers a cuppa tea! Nothing is too much trouble, always helpful. My mum was here and I was so happy she was there, as was she.

We have known our friend for a long time, we have been coming to this home for sometime, we have been very welcome and impressed with his care and the excellent attitude of the staff. His health has improved, when he came here he was very thin and and since he has improved in that he has put on
weight.
