My father went into Dorrington during Covid then shortly after my mother joined him. We were very lucky that they were accommodated in opposite rooms. Unfortunately my mother passed but dad is still there. He is always happy, clean and tidy. The activities team are outstanding. Always something
going on even at weekends. As a family we are happy with Dorrington for dad's care

My dad went in there last August and he has totally changed for the better. He gets involved with other residents, play games and enjoy the music sessions they have. It was the best thing that happened to him, and for my mum. Staff are wonderful ..can't fault a single thing.

Dorrington House has cared for my father for over a decade. He has been well-looked after and the communication from the home has been very good. The staff have always been kind, caring and thoughtful.

For ten years my husband's mother in law was cared for at Dorrington. She was wonderfully looked after, professionally, respectfully, but also lovingly. I am sure that her good care was why she lived to a very old age.

I found the staff from the care assistants, management, cleaners, cooks and helpers all very friendly and very helpful at all times. Nothing was too much trouble for them who every you asked.

Dorrington House is such an uplifting place to visit. I always go away feeling very happy and content. The staff are incredibly kind and thoughtful, and they really know my dad's ways. He is always happy when I visit. Dad really couldn't be in a better place. It is a very blessed home. Thank you.

There is a high level of care, lots of amazing activities and trips, friendly and professional staff too. I am very grateful for what they do for Dad. He has come such a long way to improve his health since coming to Dorrington House.

Care home was caring and provided the care it was able to. Visiting was easy. It was the near our mum who was able to visit on a regular basis. Activities for residents were good. Thank you Dorrington house for the care provided.

I would like to thank Dorrington House for giving my mother two weeks of happiness, she was looked after very well, sadly at the age of 102 and a half she passed away on new years eve in her sleep. We are grateful to all the staff and carers for making her two weeks she was with you so enjoyable.

In very trying circumstances, Dorrington House (Wells) is giving all the support my sister could possibly need, after she suffered a massive stroke in July. In the months and years before July, my sister had come to think of Dorrington as her home, where she was looked after, always comfortably and
with love.

From the moment you walk into Dorrington (Wells), the staff are friendly and welcoming. Everyone is professional and efficient and the staff have treated my father with warmth and respect. The rooms are nice and my father says the food is great! I do not feel the care at Dorrington could be

From the moment you walk into the home, you have a sense of kindness, warmth and cleanliness. The reception team are friendly and welcoming. The care staff are professional and efficient and treat all the residents with the utmost respect. The daily activities are varied, interesting fun and
professionally supervised by the activities staff. We do not feel the care at Dorrington could in any way be improved. Thank you.

I have always found Dorrington House to be excellent. The staff are amazing so caring and kind to all the residents. My sister is so happy there - couldn't fault her care. Our mother was a resident here when the home first opened and it has continued to improve.

Since my mother has been a resident at Dorrington House (Wells) she has been well looked after by the staff and management. They always keep us up to date and always let me know if there is a problem. The staff do a great job and I know my mother is in a safe place.

We as a family have found Dorrington House "excellent". The Management and staff are always on hand if there are any problems or questions. The care they have given our mum is superb, we couldn't wish for her to be in a better place. Everyone is so friendly. Again thank you for doing all you are

A lovely family feel to the home, where residents are made to feel part of the family. Activities are varied and residents are encouraged but not forced to go to the activity room and if they do join in feel able to participate as much or as little as they want to or feel able to. For example,
playing cards, something never done before by my aunt and yet she joined in and won a small prize! I would thoroughly recommend and endorse the good care they provide.

Dorrington House has provided the care my father needs. All the staff are very attentive, helpful and friendly. My dad has dementia and he has been able to settle in, feel at home and make friends with residents and staff alike. There are many activities daily which he can attend or not as he feels.
The posting of daily photos on social media is reassuring and helpful when unable to visit. I think Dorrington is a loving, friendly atmosphere, just what he needs and the care is obvious.

My mother settled into Donington House quickly in late February. She is treated very well and speaks very highly of all the staff as do I. She likes her room which is sunny and homely. She is unable to participate in the activities but the other residents do and seem to enjoy the varied programme.
the atmosphere is very cheerful and positive all the time Mum is encouraged to do things for herself and the staff are very kind and caring. She enjoys her meals. Overall we are very satisfied with everything at Dorrington House.

My father-in-law moved into Dorrington House Dereham in February 2023. Since day one he has been made to feel welcome and received first-class care. He has been quite poorly since he moved in which was one of the reasons to find him a home with support. He has been looked after and felt supported.
When we looked around Dorrington House we immediately felt the homely feel. His first visit was amazing and he wanted to stay. It was quickly sorted so he moved in quickly. He already says that Dorrington is his home, not a home. There is a great sense of teamwork amongst all staff and management. I can't tell you how reassured we feel to know that our dad is in a safe caring environment. Not only have they made Dad so welcome but also all his family and friends.
