View Full Details of Chirk CourtMy M.I.L (E) moved into Chirk Court July 2025. My mom (B) also resided at CC before her death. When looking for a home for B, I visited practically all in this area and thought CC was definitely the best. The facilities are second to none, the atmosphere is calm and inviting. Each wing is kept spotless and is spacious, airy & homely. All staff are friendly, informative and treat residents with respect.
I am happy that my wife is being cared for to the best of the staff's ability. She does seem to get on with most of the staff. Many do seem to go the extra mile to help her.
Excellent
My father in Law has been a resident at Chirk Court for a couple of years. The staff are excellent and very welcoming. The rooms are lovely with en suite facilities and the whole place is clean and bright. They will adapt food to accommodate his tastes and there is always a cup of tea available. He's very happy there and so are we that we found such a good home.
The friendly staff always make you feel welcome and I know Dad appreciates very much the relationships he's built in his time staying here. Added to this now is the sensory garden which really does make a difference, providing a different space and environment.
He has been in Chirk Court 12 months now and he has settled in well with the staff and residents. As much as he wants to be in his own home and doesn't want to be anywhere he does feel that this is now his home. The staff are great, understanding and helpful in all areas. Not just for him but also for family members.
I have found everyone very welcoming. The rooms are very bright clean and airy. The choice of food is very good and always hot and tasty. The level of care I receive is amazing everyone is very kind. They encourage me to move but always respect my wishes as I do like to read in my room.
Mum has been at Chirk Court for a month now having moved from another nursing home which was initially for respite care. The move was very easy with the help of the deputy manager and senior care. The staff are amazing. Mums mobility and mood has improved dramatically she is encouraged to move about and is building her confidence daily. Mum has been involved in a residents meeting and coffee morning. The fact that we can visit without restrictions is great. Basically if you want 5 star facilities and care for a relative my family would definitely recommend. Wish all care homes were of the same standard!
All went well.
Lovely staff.
Excellent.
Happy, no complaint.
All right.
My dad was born and bred in Chirk, and when he had dementia, my first and only option was Chirk Court. He was treated with dignity and compassion until he passed away. I will always be grateful to Chirk Court for the care they gave my dad. I would highly recommend Chirk Court.
Lovely open day; visitors interested in the property & its history. The local football club in attendance. Visitors are most impressed. Successful day due to the hard work by everyone - especially the staff, especially training admin and the boss.
I enjoy the use of this lovely garden. The latest experience was the open day on the 28th of May, which I think was a great success, mainly due to the hard work of the staff responsible for the upkeep of the garden. 3, I am sure, along with other residents, very much appreciate their hard work.
The garden is delightful and reflects all the hard work which has gone into it. It is very accessible for my wheelchair. The open day was a huge success. Luckily, the sun came out and everyone had a good time. My daughter and son-in-law came, and two gentlemen played Irish jigs while we had a get-together after we got tea & cakes. Lots of organising, good day.
Lovely carers look after everyone.
Beautiful garden. Recent garden be better.
There is always something going on to keep my father occupied. One morning, when I arrived, the residents and staff were holding a 'music quiz' it was great fun. The new garden is a very welcome addition and something for my dad to look forward to, as he was always outside before his stroke. He is looking forward to spending time in the garden this summer.
