My Dad was a resident at Eric Morecambe House for 18 months, before he passed away there.
In all the 18 months, I can honestly say, everyone of the staff who work there are amazing.
The care, love, dignity, respect and friendship they gave my Dad was exceptional right up to his passing. I can't
praised them enough.
I visited my Dad twice a week. I was always made feel welcomed. Any worries or questions I had I felt comfortable to ask and reassured. Thank you.

I live 230 miles away from Lancaster so it has always been essential I have complete trust and confidence in every aspect of care my mum receives- I always have, and do have, so a huge thank you to all management and staff at Eric Morecambe

I cannot rate Eric Morecambe House highly enough. It truly has become a home from home for Mum since her move in October. Her flat is homely, the food is excellent and the staff are amazingly supportive and kind. Steph and the rest of the staff at Eric Morecambe have made a stressful time much
easier and I am so thankful we found such a wonderful place for Mum to live.

Like a real home from home caring lovely down to earth team. Top priority My Dad always something to lo look forward to doing. Best care home in morecambe. Dad considers it his home and the ladies and gentleman's his friends this includes to staff couldn't wish for better place.

The staff are wonderful, Dad is always treated with respect and kindness.There are many different activities organised for residents and the food is excellent with choices at every meal and with any dietary requirements catered for. Rooms and facilities are very good.

The Eric Morecambe looked after my mum for two and a have years She enjoyed her time there all the staff were brilliant in her care and attitude to helping mum
She enjoyed the entertainment and liked working in the outside garden
When you talked to the district nurses who visited my mum
they all said it was a pleasure to work and visit the home
I have recommended the care home to a number of my friends

My mother lived at Eric Morecambe House for 2 &1/2 years.
Her room was cosy with her own furniture, furnishings and pictures.
She enjoyed gardening and was encouraged to take care of a large raised bed, plant perennials and bulbs for the pleasure of all the residents. Staff residents commented
on the garden she created.
I was impressed with the care mum received. She was always consulted and her wishes were respected especially as she approached the end of her life. It was a great comfort to me to see the love and care mum received.
I was always kept well informed of any doctor or nurse visits.
Eric Morecambe House is a happy place for residents, family and visitors.

Since my dad moved in, the care he has received day & night, has been exceptional. We feel so lucky that he is living here. He's happier, more confident, & truly thriving.He loves taking part in the social activities & has already made new friends. He chooses to eat in the dining room
each day, & his appetite has improved so much thanks to the wide variety of delicious meals on offer. The home is also wonderfully pet friendly, which meant he was able to bring his little cat with him, something that has brought him so much comfort.I visit every day, & the whole building is always clean, tidy, & welcoming. It has such a homely feel as soon as you walk in. Every member of staff is friendly, smiling, & incredibly kind. They are so helpful & caring, the attention to detail in the way my dad is dressed & looked after each day is truly reassuring. I'm so grateful my dad is being so well looked after, & he feels safe. Thank you to everyone for everything you do.

When I went to look around Eric Morecambe on behalf of my sister. I bumped into someone who had a relative there. They said it was outstanding and their relative was truly happy.
So this set the tone for me to get my sister in Eric Morecambe. Management are very professional and polite. The
underlying feeling for me, was the empathy for the clients.
But the most important thing of all is, that my sister is very happy here. She says: 'Everyone is very kind and supportive'. My sister has mobility issues and they are positive in trying to help her in increasing her mobility.
I am only happy if she is happy, so thank you to the staff at Eric Morecambe.

All the staff go above and beyond to to make sure my auntie is happy and her needs are met. They had a trip out to the Lakes one of my aunts favourite places, they made sure she did all her favourite things while they were there.

We have been so lucky to get a place for mum last year at the Eric Morecombe Home. She is a bit of a character and the staff interact with her in such a positive way! There is nothing not to love...
Her room is homely, food fantastic and always an activity on to keep the residents mentally
stimulated!
I no longer worry about her as I know she is well looked after and the long serving members of staff keep me fully informed of any changes. Again just lucky to have her there!

Not our first experience with a care home provider having previously housed an Aunt, but with that knowledge Eric Morecambe House was our standout choice for mum and we are not disappointed. She is genuinely happy and well settled, she loves it here. The food and activities in particular are beyond
comparison, and the level of care provided by the Manager and her team is second to none - there's a real connection to and knowledge about their residents. We had a good feeling about EMH when we walked in and saw the manager 7 years after first touring the home with her (my Aunt couldn't get in, no room), that continuity is priceless, and they have many long-standing staff members. Having toured many homes and experienced some previously, we rate Eric Morecambe House very highly as a care home provider and we are so grateful to have mum live here.

My cousin has been a resident at Eric Morecambe House since January 2024 and I am delighted with the care and the service provided by the staff. From day one I had a very good feeling about the home. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The care and
attentiveness to the residents is evident and consistent whenever I visit. From the admin , the cook, maintenance man and of course the care staff, all of whom pull together to make my cousin's placement at Eric Morecambe House a very positive experience.
This is a very well run care home and is always a pleasure visiting.

Service in all areas outstanding. Very welcoming staff at all times. Mum is very happy there and we are delighted with the whole care package she is receiving nothing is too much trouble and the staff always treat Mum with respect.

My mum has been a resident at the Eric Morecambe Care Home since May 2024 and we are delighted with the level of care she has received. Mum has mixed dementia and the staff are very caring and considerate towards her and are always welcoming when the family visits. I would recommend this care home
to anyone considering care for a relative.

They say not all heroes wear capes; they wear a purple uniform and work at Eric Morecambe House, forever known to me as the Purple Angels. My mum became a resident 6 years ago after my dad passed away. Mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in 2012. The level of care shown to Mum throughout has
been exemplary and our family cannot thank the staff enough. All residents are treated with dignity and above all, they really do care, going above and beyond every moment of their shift & nothing is too much trouble. It takes an exceptional kind of person to do what they do, I for one could not do it. They care for our loved ones like they were one of their own and Mum loves them all to bits. They have integrity, compassion, dedication, respect, and pride in what they do. They have the biggest hearts which radiates through every square foot of the building! We feel very lucky we were able to secure Mum a place here, her final years have been filled with love, laughter, and phenomenal care.

My mum has been at Eric Morecambe for just over a year. She settled in very quickly due to the friendly nature and great care from the staff. They are very understanding and professional in dealing with my mother's Alzheimer's. Also, if she becomes poorly with infections they respond excellently,
attending to all her medical needs. Communication between the home and ourselves is of a high standard throughout the staffing structure. Mum is in great hands and is very happy, they keep her mentally stimulated and occupied with arts and crafts, games and entertainers. Also, historical and or topical shows. We could not wish for a higher level of care, support and guidance for ourselves.

From the first time I stepped into this home, the atmosphere was fabulous. My husband who has dementia and Parkinson's having looked around stated he was excited to come here. We have never been disappointed. The rooms are light and airy. The food is fabulous, like a five star hotel. The care is
outstanding. They care for people as individuals. My husband can get up and go to bed when he wishes. He is always beautifully dressed. As are other residents. I love how they help the ladies to do their makeup. The entertainment is varied. The other more important aspect for me is the openness of the home. I can visit whenever I wish and do often come at different times and always found everything impeccable. I would highly recommend this home.

In my 58 years as a minister, I have visited people in at least 50 care homes. Some I wouldn't send a dog, but the Eric Morecambe House has impressed me more than most and I rate it very highly. The staff are extremely warm and helpful, and the place is very clean and tidy. I have not seen many of
the rooms but what I have seen are pleasant and homely. The residents are treated with great care and respect as are their visitors. I would gladly get my name down for this place if ever I needed one.

Many staff have been here a long time and are very experienced in providing care. The care is excellent and the use of a dedicated team for each resident allows for a friendly and communicative relationship between staff, residents and visitors. I was fully involved with care plans for my father and
regularly updated and consulted as care feeds changed. It was always possible to have discussions with staff on what was the best approach to providing the care needed. This included dealing with many external parties such as GPs, hospital staff, district nurses, and dentists and accompanying my father to regular blood transfusions. This level of assistance is also applied to administrative and maintenance support. The room was very comfortable and decorated for us before our arrival. Organising the contract was efficient and honest with no unexpected costs or hassle. The rooms and home are clean and no issues occurred with other facilities like laundry, food, hygiene, hairdressers etc. Excellent.
