Nothing has been too much trouble for the staff as they have helped our relative settle in. All the staff have been so kind. They have taken time to get to know him and his interests. They have noted his preferences on food and worked hard to provide this for him. As a result he has accepted life
in Fairland House very easily. Thank you to all the staff.

I found the staff very friendly, very good support. Everything that needs to be done it is achieved. If I ask for help is given. I like going out with with others residents using the company's bus, recently we had a good experience at the Norwich Cathedral.

My husband has been a resident for a month. After reading the reviews, CQC report and a visit to the home, I felt this was a good choice. This decision proved to be correct. It is very homely, the staff/management are very kind, caring, efficient and always available to speak to.The home has a very
good relationship with the local surgery, which is just across the road. The home is clean, the rooms are comfortable, the residents are safe, secure and treated with dignity. The food is good, I have been welcomed and stayed for lunch several times.Plenty of drinks are always available, this is monitored well. The activities are plentiful/varied/fun and residents are encouraged to join in. The washing is done regularly, although I have named all my husband's clothes, sometimes these go missing, understandably, with so much to do. A quick word with the staff/management and this is resolved.

Personal care is very poor. Some mornings she left to wash & dress herself. I've had to buy her some towels. Her clothes get lost in the wash room. The food is very poor she just eats what she can. Some days she gets nothing to eat from lunch til the next morning.

My mother came to this home at the beginning of this year. I have found all the staff friendly, happy and caring. A couple definitely stand out. I have only seen improvements since my mum has resided there. The range of activities now provided is much better, and that person works very hard and is
so good with all of the residents. My mum has had a couple of falls whilst there, and I am happy with the care she received. It would be nice if they had a little less workload so they could chat with residents occasionally.

The staff are always friendly and helpful. The management is very visible and accessible, so they are available for questions and to sort any problems. They know every resident and show empathy and compassion towards them. If I had a criticism, it would be the laundry. Clothes have been spoiled by
washing dark with light colours, and items have been muddled and given to the wrong residents. Having said that, I can understand how easily this can happen.

The worries, stress and difficulties we faced having to put my partner's mum in a care home was all addressed by management. After visiting her everyday, we recognised how management and all staff were so caring and friendly, and dealt with all our issues and concerns professionally. All the staff
are excellent and am so grateful that my partner's mum is calm and reassured that she is being looked after by really nice people at this sad and worry time. Thank you all.

It wasn't an easy decision to move my father into residential care, but it was the right decision. He seems to have settled in well and looks much better than he did during the prolonged hospital stay which preceded his move to Fairland House.
He is at very high risk of falls and I feel he is safe
now - they do everything they can to help and have responded swiftly to medical issues he has experienced recently. I'm happy he's in their care.

We had reservations when he first went in as old place and being redecorated and improving all the time.

problems, they are at hand. Thank you to all the staff, very friendly.

My mum has been at Fairland House for over a year and I am so happy knowing that she is being kept safe and well. (Especially in the current situation). I'm confident that she is being well cared for by the lovely, friendly staff who go the extra mile to look after their residents. There is always a
lovely atmosphere and the food is amazing. I love that they have a great activities coordinator and a Facebook page where you are able to see photos and videos of some of their afternoon antics. So important when visiting has to be limited in these times. Thank you to the manager and her great team for being so caring towards my mum.
