What a beautiful place for my wife's Godmother to stay. Very friendly and professional staff. Excellent food and service in lovely grounds, so nice to see her being looked after by all the staff. Knowing that she has her own room and wellbeing. Brilliant place.

Mum was nervous about moving into a care home as she had been totally independent before circumstances changed and she needed to be in a environment where she was comfortable and looked after but still able to be a little independent.
Bourley Grange have been wonderful, within a week of mum moving
in she was so happy and enjoying herself. Mums just celebrated her 97th birthday and she was made to feel special, with an absolutely beautiful cake.
Day to day activities and outings are always fun. Food is always great and visitors are always welcome to join mum for lunch.
I can see how much mum is enjoying her new home and we are happy that we made the right choice with choosing Bourley Grange.

My mum has been at Bourley Grange for nearly 3 years and it does not have the usual care home feel. This is a warm welcoming community. Every member of staff is engaged in giving afirst class service. The environment is like a hotel, the food is amazing, the nursing and care staff are always kind
and professional. There is always some activities taking place and trips out in the bus
I asked my mum last week if she was happy and she said "very happy" what more can you ask for.

My mum came to the home for some respite care and the welcome that she received was amazing. The staff are lovely and friendly & it is clearly a happy environment. My mum has dementia but she was stimulated by acitivities, chats to staff & other residents and she came home more animated &
interested in her surroundings which was lovely to see. My mum was very well looked after & we look forward to her visiting again.

for the staff.

My mother has been a resident at Bourley Grange for four months. She has Alzheimer's and can be very confused at times. However, the staff at Bourley Grange have got to know her very well and can manage her condition with great kindness, expertise and humour.
I had looked at many care homes across
the area and found nothing that met the happiness emanating from the environment here. There are many fun activities that family can join in with as well as activities for Mum during the day. The cleanliness of the home and Mum's room and clothing is excellent.
The food and presentation of meals are so important for residents' dignity and this has really impressed us. My mother is eating beautifully presented and varied food (and snacks which I enjoy too on visits!)
The staff are welcoming to family and build relationships with family too.
Mum has settled really well. The individual care plan is well constructed to meet her needs and I am delighted and relieved she is there.

Bourley Grange is a welcoming environment.
They listen and take action quickly on any raised issues.
The facilities are homely and comfortable.
They keep relatives informed of ongoing events through various means.
With the mixed nationalities of staff, we have had occasions where conversation
has been confused/lost in translation between staff and resident.

My father-in-law is so happy and we have such peace of mind. We looked at many care homes and without question, Bourley Grange ticks all the boxes and more.
The atmosphere is homely and caring and you feel happy visiting. The activities are fun and stimulating for the residents. The gardens are
large and well-kept and provide excellent outside space to enjoy and walk around. The home admissions advisor and her team have been so welcoming to us as a family and we know my father-in-law is in safe and caring hands. (And the food and food choices are four-star).

My husband has settled well in the home and enjoys the outings and activities. The care is first-class. I feel the care team know and understands all his needs. They are always welcoming to relatives and friends and encourage our participation in events. It is great to be able to join a partner at
any lunch or dinner time. The ambience of the home is very positive and uplifting.

Mum has been a resident for eight months now. Before becoming a resident, she had been living on her own with just twice daily carer visits. She was sitting all day watching TV and surviving on microwave meals. Since becoming a resident, she has daily stimulation virtually all day and every day, she
has a close group of friends, the food is exceptional and the care she receives is more exceptional still. The staff are the jewel in the crown of this home and their recent award of "care home of the year" is a fitting tribute to them. The home is purpose-built on two levels and is light and airy with a lovely garden to walk in during the summer. All the fixtures and fittings are of a high quality. Activities and trips out are constant and extremely well supervised. There is professional nursing care available, should it be necessary, and all the residents are constantly monitored. Mum has responded so well to being a resident here. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Such a lovely care home!
I visited all the ones local to me and this stood head and shoulders above the rest from the initial visits alone.
My mum has been there six months now and they've consistently delivered top-notch care not just in ensuring Mum remains safe and healthy but in the way they
achieve that.
All the staff are caring, friendly and welcoming to residents, visitors and each other, there is a wide variety of events planned month to month (both within the home and trips further afield), the grounds are lovely to walk around, the building layout is divided into neighbourhoods with their own nurse station, dining room and lounge and the food is outstanding. Also, just as important is that my mum has a group of new friends who all socialise together and look out for one another.
A lot of other care homes I've been to are impersonal but this one genuinely feels more like a family.

Just wanted to say that the new app is really great. I can see what Mum is joining in with and it’s so lovely to see photos of her enjoying herself. This means a lot to me, especially because I don't get to see her that often (as I live 3.5 hours away by car).

A big thank you to three members of staff, in particular, for their care and hard work, they and everyone involved in making every event for residents and families to enjoy and be part of a great success.
All of the staff show commitment and care for the community they have at Bourley Grange.
Thank you all.

We are so grateful and appreciative of the wonderful care and kindness given to Mum by all the staff- we couldn’t have wished for her to be any better looked after in every way. The many events, recreational activities and fantastic food, all of which she really enjoyed, greatly improved her
well-being and frame of mind.
Thank you to you all.
