View Full Details of Ryefield CourtSince my husband came to stay at Ryefield Court in March 2025, I have found his care excellent, attentive, responsive and individualised. The staff identified his particular needs, likes, dislikes and behaviours quickly and nothing seems too much trouble to ensure his comfort and that he is relaxed. It is very evident that the staff all belong to one team, no matter which role they perform, and are dedicated to the care of the residents and providing the best environment and experience. The activities and outings are very well planned, varied, stimulating, social and imaginative. We recently celebrated my husband's birthday with private dining; the staff did everything to ensure we had a great time; the meal was superb and the birthday cake definitely had the 'wow' factor! Our thanks to the sous chef, and all in Hospitality. The home is clean, bright and tidy and the rooms light, spacious, well-furnished and decorated. I am impressed and very satisfied.
Firstly apologies,it's definitely taken me way to long to get round to doing this, My Dear mum was a resident here for 17 months, I cannot stress it absolutely was the perfect place for her, Environment, from the moment you step in you are greeted with a smile and an awaiting coffee, the care home is immaculate, looks stunning and everyone is so very friendly,to both residents and visitors. Hospitality, there is always a good selection at meal times and they offer other options too. The spreads they prepare for events are eye watering. Care, mum received 24 hour care(I know I was there) From moment mum woken to bedtime, whilst being mindful of both her dignity and independence. The bedrooms are ensuite and comfortable. A bit now about staff; my mum was when entering extremely withdrawn and quite aloof but staff persevered and mum came to love them ,they'd hold her hand reassure her and she even began to join in events. For mum and I they became our best friends our rocks. Thank you.
I recently spent four weeks respite care in Ryefield Court Care Home and thoroughly recommend this lovely home. Everyone was very kind and helpful, always with a smile. Understanding and sympathetic if we were having a 'down' time. The food was very tasty with variety and several choices for each meal. There was a daily programme of events which we could take part in if we wished, for example Quizzes, chair exercises, arts and crafts and weekly entertainment such as a celebration of St Patrick's Day. A treat too to visit the hairdresser and perhaps have a manicure! A favourite place was the Bistro where we could go for a coffee, or any other drink and delicious cake or, with notice, have lunch with family or friends. What more can I say, just excellent! Thank you everyone.
My mum has been a resident in this care home for just over two weeks and in that very short time I found the home well presented, brilliant in terms of catering for the needs of residents and visitors, clean, tidy, the staff amazing, friendly, helpful, caring and just plain brilliant. This is the original five-star care facility in every sense of the word.
All round amazed. Never seen a home like it. So satisfied and am so surprised. If I was to introduce anyone to a home this is the one. The staff here is also nice and friendly and very helpful too.
We are so happy with the care our dad has been receiving at Ryefield Court Care Home. Since his stay here, he has come such a long way, and it's all thanks to the dedication of the entire team. From the carers and hospitality staff to the chefs and management, everyone has been there not only for Dad but for our whole family. Finding Ryefield was the best decision-we've seen such a positive change in his quality of life. He now calls Ryefield his home, and we couldn't be more grateful.
We celebrated my mum's 100th birthday last December. The staff were fantastic. The room was beautifully done, the food fabulous and the service exemplary. The commitment that everyone gave to making the day so special was really appreciated. It was lovely being able to invite our cousins and Mum's previous neighbours who have been there throughout her life. They were able to see first-hand the care that the team gave my mum at all times. We will always remember it. Thank you.
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the team at Ryefield Court for their outstanding care and support of Mum. The staff's dedication, professionalism, and kindness have been truly remarkable, especially during the festive season. On Christmas Day, the team created a warm and festive environment, ensuring all residents felt included and cherished. Knowing that Mum was so well cared for brought us immense comfort, and we are sincerely thankful for the exceptional care provided by everyone at Ryefield Court.
The level of care and kindness shown to our Mother the whole time she was at Ryfield Court was fantastic. We were especially amazed by the care and compassion shown not only to Mum but out whole family during her final week. All of the staff could not do enough for us and you can tell they really care about their residents.
My Mother has been at Ryefield Court for over a year now and we are extremely happy with all the care for her and for us as her family. The staff are amazing and genuinely care for her every need. The home is very well looked after, the hospitality is first class and the entertainment really well thought out and frequent. The care is very personal and all the staff seemed to know Mum very quickly and are always very friendly and approachable. We are delighted with our choice.
Having been referred to Ryefield Court by Age UK fall prevention. Our experience of the rapport and love for our brother and all the residents is exceptional. First-class service. High-class care, attention, and professionalism in every aspect of care. This is the same with family and friends all staff display qualities of vast experience to enable all interaction with a service of care.
I visit my Mum on a regular basis and am always made welcome. All the facilities at Ryefield Court are excellent and my Mum is well looked after.
I came to Ryefield Court as a resident, and since coming here I have been very comfortable and well looked after. Everyone seems helpful and cheerful.
The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. When I visit my friend I am always welcomed and treated respectfully. I have always been impressed with how happy the residents look and all the activities that are arranged for them.
From first visit to view home staff were very professional and friendly, and answered all of our questions, all staff made a point of greeting us as we were shown round. My dad spent nearly 3 weeks in respite care there and although he wasn't too keen to leave home initially he settled very quickly as the staff are just so lovely and friendly, nothing is too much trouble and they go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need, you really feel like they are treating your family as they would their own. My dad enjoyed his time there and only had 1 little complaint, the two main sport channels are not available at all in the home, not in rooms or lounges and when you are 90 years old you are limited to some activities, so TV becomes a big part of your day, especially when crazy about sport. I do think this should be something the home should consider installing, it isn't cheap staying in Ryefield and having this would have made his stay there 100% perfect, instead of 99.9%.
Today we had a fine dining experience with my dad, brother and his family visiting from abroad. The food was excellent and the staff were amazing, so attentive and helpful. I am so happy we have been able to enjoy such a lovely day with Dad and have been waited on by the lovely staff.
Our family member came to stay for a few weeks respite, and has decided to stay at Ryefield Court. She has quite high medical and mobility needs and these are being addressed well. Like many, this has been a difficult decision to stay, but she is beginning to settle, make friends and enjoy the facilities.
My mum is a service user, so today six of her relatives including me had a Sunday roast in the private dining room. We had a very nice roast chicken dinner and the service was excellent. Plenty of drinks, the room is bright and airy, interesting table. Very nice helpful person serving. Thank you.
First impressions of Ryefield Court care home, amazing. The staff are wonderful very welcoming nothing is ever too much trouble. Friends for life. Whatever time of day they are always above and beyond to meet the needs of inpatients and visitors. Always come away with a smile on my face knowing my father is so well looked after safe and happy.
