Our father was a resident of the home for 18 months, he was incredibly well taken care of by the staff who are friendly and caring. The food is good and there are daily activities for the residents, along with a bistro for visiting and a nice garden area. The staff were very compassionate after our father passed and couldn't have done more for our family. Would thoroughly recommend for a loved one needing care.

I moved my Wife into Ryfield Court at the very end of February. Since she has been there she appears calmer and at ease with the other residents and joins in on the activities provided. Both my Son and I are so happy with the move. The staff are second to none and really provide the care that she needs which gives us peace of mind, The home itself offers so many facilities and is kept immaculate. There is a very nice garden for the residents to enjoy in the better weather. We cannot fault it in any way and would strongly recommend it to anyone.

First impressions impressive, staff very welcoming and interested in guests. Atmosphere calm and friendly. Service efficent but not overwhelming. Required medical help and medications arrive 'on the dot' with advice freely given when requested. Some food requests not as speedy as could be, but improving. That's the only 'niggle'. First impressions of costs seem high but the value becomes apparent as time passes. Happy!!

I cant thank the team at Ryefield Court enough for the care and respect they have given my nan. We were in a different home before and nan had really deteriorated quite quickly but since being at Ryefield she is so much happier, comfortable and has put on lots of weight (which is a miracle considering her stage in dementia). The events team are fantastic and the music shows and entertainment they do really brings so much joy to nan. The food is delicious and the ability to have lunch with nan still is really special (she unfortunately isnt able to leave the home anymore due to her dementia). They have allowed me to be a relative not a carer and I'm so grateful to be able to spend the remaining time we have together without worry as i know shes in the safest hands. Thank you Madge and the team at Ryefield Court, you all deserve the world xx

Mum was only at this care home for 6 months unfortunately but wow what a delightful 6 months it was.
Mum was a senior carer herself for nearly 30 years so to eventually having to have her as a resident in one was a very difficult decision for both my sister & I, but we have absolutely no regrets of our choice.
We viewed 7 care homes in all & after very long & sleepless nights thoughts we went with Ryefield court care home, the staff were amazing & could not have done anymore than they did caring for our mother, we were always kept informed of her state of mind & health & wellness & she was always always out & about the home with staff involving her in their activities & down time.
Mum was on the second floor & the senior carers & their staff was so friendly & helpful, if you requested anything they obliged.

Mum sadly passed away & their end of life care was second to none, we were so lucky to spend the last 3 nights with her & the staff day & night were so accommodating

We celebrated our friend's birthday in the care home today. We were shown to the private dining room which had been decorated. We were treated to drinks and lunch from the bistro menu, followed by a cappuccino and birthday cake. The presentation of food was excellent and the staff could not do enough for us and were very kind. We had a splendid afternoon and our friend who is a resident really enjoyed herself. Her niece turned up later with her husband, which was an extra treat.

A great experience.

Overall Experience
Our Mum lived at Ryefield for 8 years. She loved it from day one, and described it as being like living in a hotel. The carers went out of their way to make her feel comfortable, and to emphasise that this was her home. They got to know all her preferences and foibles, and always did their best to accommodate them.

Mum had Alzheimers, so during her time at Ryefield, her health slowly deteriorated. The staff at Ryefield adapted their care to each change, and continually did everything they could to maintain Mum's dignity and quality of life. Their small acts of kindness to Mum (eg putting her Christmas tree up during Covid, without being asked, when I was unable to get in) often moved me to tears. Mum's best friend, who visited regularly, has told her son that if she ever needs to go into a care home, she wants it to be Ryefield Court. My brother and I always had peace of mind knowing that our Mum was being well cared for.

My parents moved to Ryefield in March 2022 as my mums health was deteriorating. In the short three months before her death I saw her smile more often - she enjoyed the company of others and was given excellent care. My father (8 days short of 101 years) recently passed away. We all live a long distance away but felt confident that he was well looked after; we were made aware of changes and in his last few weeks we and him were treated with compassion and respect.

Since my husband came to stay at Ryefield Court in March 2025, I have found his care excellent, attentive, responsive and individualised. The staff identified his particular needs, likes, dislikes and behaviours quickly and nothing seems too much trouble to ensure his comfort and that he is relaxed.
It is very evident that the staff all belong to one team, no matter which role they perform, and are dedicated to the care of the residents and providing the best environment and experience. The activities and outings are very well planned, varied, stimulating, social and imaginative.
We recently celebrated my husband's birthday with private dining; the staff did everything to ensure we had a great time; the meal was superb and the birthday cake definitely had the 'wow' factor! Our thanks to the sous chef, and all in Hospitality.
The home is clean, bright and tidy and the rooms light, spacious, well-furnished and decorated.

I am impressed and very satisfied.

Firstly apologies,it's definitely taken me way to long to get round to doing this,
My Dear mum was a resident here for 17 months,
I cannot stress it absolutely was the perfect place for her,
Environment, from the moment you step in you are greeted with a smile and an awaiting coffee, the care home is immaculate, looks stunning and everyone is so very friendly,to both residents and visitors.
Hospitality, there is always a good selection at meal times and they offer other options too.
The spreads they prepare for events are eye watering.
Care, mum received 24 hour care(I know I was there)
From moment mum woken to bedtime, whilst being mindful of both her dignity and independence.
The bedrooms are ensuite and comfortable.
A bit now about staff; my mum was when entering extremely withdrawn and quite aloof but staff persevered and mum came to love them ,they'd hold her hand reassure her and she even began to join in events.
For mum and I they became our best friends our rocks.

Thank you.

I recently spent four weeks respite care in Ryefield Court Care Home and thoroughly recommend this lovely home. Everyone was very kind and helpful, always with a smile. Understanding and sympathetic if we were having a 'down' time. The food was very tasty with variety and several choices for each meal. There was a daily programme of events which we could take part in if we wished, for example Quizzes, chair exercises, arts and crafts and weekly entertainment such as a celebration of St Patrick's Day. A treat too to visit the hairdresser and perhaps have a manicure! A favourite place was the Bistro where we could go for a coffee, or any other drink and delicious cake or, with notice, have lunch with family or friends. What more can I say, just excellent! Thank you everyone.
