We are so happy with the care our dad has been receiving at Ryefield Court Care Home. Since his stay here, he has come such a long way, and it's all thanks to the dedication of the entire team. From the carers and hospitality staff to the chefs and management, everyone has been there not only for Dad but for our whole family. Finding Ryefield was the best decision-we've seen such a positive change in his quality of life. He now calls Ryefield his home, and we couldn't be more grateful.

We celebrated my mum's 100th birthday last December. The staff were fantastic. The room was beautifully done, the food fabulous and the service exemplary. The commitment that everyone gave to making the day so special was really appreciated. It was lovely being able to invite our cousins and Mum's previous neighbours who have been there throughout her life. They were able to see first-hand the care that the team gave my mum at all times. We will always remember it. Thank you.

My Mother has been at Ryefield Court for over a year now and we are extremely happy with all the care for her and for us as her family. The staff are amazing and genuinely care for her every need. The home is very well looked after, the hospitality is first class and the entertainment really well thought out and frequent. The care is very personal and all the staff seemed to know Mum very quickly and are always very friendly and approachable. We are delighted with our choice.

From first visit to view home staff were very professional and friendly, and answered all of our questions, all staff made a point of greeting us as we were shown round. My dad spent nearly 3 weeks in respite care there and although he wasn't too keen to leave home initially he settled very quickly as the staff are just so lovely and friendly, nothing is too much trouble and they go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need, you really feel like they are treating your family as they would their own. My dad enjoyed his time there and only had 1 little complaint, the two main sport channels are not available at all in the home, not in rooms or lounges and when you are 90 years old you are limited to some activities, so TV becomes a big part of your day, especially when crazy about sport. I do think this should be something the home should consider installing, it isn't cheap staying in Ryefield and having this would have made his stay there 100% perfect, instead of 99.9%.

Our family member came to stay for a few weeks respite, and has decided to stay at Ryefield Court. She has quite high medical and mobility needs and these are being addressed well. Like many, this has been a difficult decision to stay, but she is beginning to settle, make friends and enjoy the facilities.

My mum is a service user, so today six of her relatives including me had a Sunday roast in the private dining room. We had a very nice roast chicken dinner and the service was excellent.

Plenty of drinks, the room is bright and airy, interesting table. Very nice helpful person serving. Thank you.

The care home is such a welcoming place where you feel that your relative is having the best care possible. The facilities are excellent and most importantly, the staff seem to genuinely care about the residents. Visitors too are always warmly welcomed and nothing is too much trouble. The opportunities of having lunches and celebrating special occasions with residents really show the commitment of the home to support the residents and their families.

I am very happy that my relative is in such a wonderful place.

My mother has been at Ryefield Court for 2 years now and is very happy and excellently cared for. She says it is home only better. The staff and other residents are friends, with someone with a friendly smile always around to help or chat. She prefers to watch the regular organised social activities than participate and that’s fine. Her health, both physically and mentally, has improved since she has been here. She particularly loves the Bistro area and the beautiful gardens and is pleased she no longer has any practical worries. She also loves the freshly prepared food. The family has peace of mind that Mum is safe, happy, relaxed and her needs are always sensitively met. As her dementia worsens, she will already be in a familiar place best suited to her increasing needs.

To sum up, the team at Ryefield is dedicated and positive. Led by the exceptional manager, they create a warm welcoming atmosphere which helps make visiting Mum a pleasure.

My father arrived 6 months ago after a 10-week stint in hospital. He has moderate dementia. As a family, we cannot thank Ryefield Care Home enough for their support in settling Dad into his new way of life and his new home. All the staff are absolutely brilliant. Every day the residents are given the opportunity to take part in a well-planned itinerary suited to their needs including day trips outside of the home. Dad's room has just been refurbished to a very high standard. The meals are superb with options to join residents for lunch in the bistro. The ground floor bistro is fabulous, alongside the beautiful garden. It is reassuring to know our dad is safe, healthy and very happy. Thank you Ryefield Court!

I don’t often write a review yet this was easy to do. As a family, we had never discussed ever putting my mum in a care home so it has been a very hard and emotional journey. In reflection, I could not imagine my mum anywhere else. The personal care and love she receives in Ryefield Court are amazing. They know her so well and as a family, we are welcomed and involved in everything. We are always being asked “Can we do better?” or “Do you have any suggestions to make her stay there more comfortable and homely?”. I would definitely recommend it to my friends or anyone looking for a unique and special place for their loved ones.

I am delighted to say that we made the best choice possible for our mum to stay at Ryefield Court Care Home. It is like home from home the facilities, decor and atmosphere make you feel relaxed from the moment you arrive through the door.
The staff from management, seniors, care teams, hospitality, chefs and kitchen staff, domestics and hairdressers go above and beyond for each and every resident. All members never pass without greeting everyone by name and that includes the visiting relatives.
Although there are teams of carers allocated to each floor everyone looks out for all residents no matter where they may be especially in the bistro which is a popular meeting place for everyone to sit relax and have a coffee with a delicious slice of homemade cake.
The food choice for residents is excellent with two meal choices on the menu at each meal. Excellent nutritious food always on offer.

The daily activities and entertainment for residents are amazing. Keeping the residents' minds alert.
