View Full Details of Crispin Court Care Home - Avery HealthcareLived here for many years. Lovely home. Very happy.
Enjoying stay. Have 24 hour care. Room very satisfactory. Staff pleasant and helpful. Food fair but can be rather repetitive. Enjoy meeting a few other residents.
Crispin Court is well organised and a clean and happy place. Residents are very well organised and happy with a wide variety of excellent quality entertainment to suit wide tastes. Food is wide variety but the quality seems to be declining with each of my several visits.
This is my second visit to Crispin Court, this time following a broken arm; in 2025 I came after a serious neck operation. On both occasions I have found a warm and caring staff and a pleasant environment. The accommodation and food have been excellent and the whole has meant for a pleasant stay while recovering from surgery and injuries. I would thoroughly recommend Crispin Court to others whatever their needs.
The care my mom received was excellent. The staff, the care, the food, and the facilities were second to none. The care home is kept spotlessly clean, it is like a 5 star hotel.
My family friend has been in Crispin Court Care Home, Stafford, for almost two years now. I haven't seen him so happy for a long time. The staff are excellent, the ambience is friendly and clean. From the moment my husband and I visit, we are treated with a friendly and caring manner, just like my dear friend. If I ever need a care home, it is where "I'll go"!
In for respite, everyone so friendly and welcoming, found it uplifting, been in six weeks.
Visited friend for a month and everything I've seen, very impressed.
I do like it here.
We were apprehensive whether or not my father would settle in Crispin Court. It is with pleasure that he has settled in really well, and is making lots of new friends. We would certainly recommend Crispin Court to anyone who is looking for this type of accommodation.
Most things are going well. Sometimes some activities are not displayed, most apply to ladies who are in a majority of 80% to 20%.
Excellent rooms/accommodation. Ground floor accommodation - Suits me fine. Helpful and informative staff. Food excellent.
I stayed at Crispin Court for four weeks of convalescence following a long hospital stay. I found my whole time at Crispin Court excellent. The care staff were knowledgeable and definitely aided my recovery. The building was spotlessly clean and the rooms very comfortable. The wellbeing team provided engaging activities and the food was very good. The front-of-the-house team were always very pleasant and helpful.
Just excellent overall.
My Grandmother has recently gone into Crispin Court on respite care with a view to making it her permanent home. At first, she was not too sure it was for her. The staff and other residents have all been very helpful and welcoming. I can see that my Grandmother is doing well and looking so much better since being there. Fingers crossed she enjoys it and decides she wants to make it permanent.
My Mam has stayed at Crispin Court 4 times now. She loves it there, we have our holiday, she has hers. There will come a time when she needs 24-hour care, we have no hesitation in making the decision to choose Crispin Court - the staff and service are wonderful. We have tried other homes before finding Crispin honestly they are in a league of their own. Well done all at Crispin Court, don't change.
When I went into Crispin Court I was unable to walk unaided. With a standing frame, patient staff, physio and walking frame I was able to go to the dining room, coming back to the room in a chair but soon walking both ways, always accompanied by caring staff. All the staff showed consideration, courteous, kindness etc. I am home now, coping with carers, and the support of family and friends.
Crispin Court is the best thing to have happened for our family. Mum is happy, safe and healthy. her family can now relax and just enjoy visits with her without constantly worrying she was in danger at home. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all the lovely caring staff.
Very good communication (about hospital visit) by phone and in person by two members of staff: the staff updated on changes to arrangements and they were considerate and cooperative - one staff member drove the resident to hospital well in time for the appointment. This assistance made the day run smoothly and happily; another staff member did a follow-up report on hospital visit with excellent attention to detail.
Mum initially came for respite care when the live-in carer couldn't cope, and Mum was highly agitated. Mum settled immediately and loves taking part in the activities that are arranged. She has always had a strong personality, and the team quickly got her measure and could make her laugh and keep her calm when confused. A real effort was made to get to know who Mum was and now is, so her care and conversation are suited to her. I don't live nearby, staff are always helpful on the phone and know who I am when I visit, it is a comfort to see so many of the same carers each time I visit. Mum has enjoyed the food and the kitchen team recently catered a lovely get-together to celebrate Mum's 90th birthday. Mum had pets all her life and we usually bring one of our dogs to visit (well-behaved dogs are welcome at Crispin Court). A huge thank you from our family to the manager and her team.
