Our father was only at Riverdale for a little over a week, but the impact the staff made was heartfelt. During such a difficult time, he was treated with incredible dignity, care and compassion. As a family, we were met with nothing but respect and empathy. Though our father has passed away, we take
great comfort knowing his final days were spent in the best possible care. We cannot thank the team enough.

All the staff were very friendly and welcoming in a quiet, calm environment. Nothing was too much trouble and all staff responded very quickly to all requests.

In all the time we have been visiting David the staff have always been so kind and helpful. Nothing has been too much trouble.

On the whole the home is very clean and tidy the staff are very good but, some of them need more training in what there do, and more understanding what you say to them.

On 1/12/2025 I had two friends visit me, the first thing that they mentioned was the quality and standard of the accommodation. They were very impressed by this. The fact that on arrival they were offered a cup of coffee served to reinforce that impression. The same can be said of my two sons who
visit on a very regular basis.

Riverdale hosted a wonderful Christmas event with Reindeers, food, hot drinks, a singer, Santa and all friends and family of residents and workers were welcomed. Thank you for having us, it was a wonderful experience and so lovely to meet everyone. Riverdale really cares for it's residents and
workers and provides great facilities.

My wife has now been at the care home for about 6 months and is fully settled in. I was invited to a Country and Western Musical, BBQ and ice cream event at the care home. Really not my scene, however, my wife is very musical. I went and was immediately impressed with the fantastic organisation that
had obviously gone into the planning. The music, BBQ and the tattoo painting lady. The star for me was the maintenance man, normally rushing around with a screwdriver in his hand, fully dressed up as Woody from Toy Story. A really memorable day. I wish to thank everyone for the excellent planning for a most enjoyable day.

I would just like to say how very happy we are that my husbands mother is in Riverdale care home Braintree. From the minute you walk through the door you are met with a big smile and a hello. The staff and management are amazing, we are all on first name terms. The activities they have daily are
very engaging. My dad is in there at the moment on respite, and he is really enjoying himself. You have plenty of choice when it comes to food. Your family member is looked after to a very high standard. The rooms have en suites, and if you need anything they are happy to oblige. I can not recommend this care home enough. When we took my mother in law for respite in the beginning, because she had just been diagnosed with double dementia we worried that she would be unsettled, but no, within a day or 2 she was ringing us up and saying that she wanted to stay and didn't want to go back home. Highly recommended, could write more but no space.

This is my first visit to the home and first impressions, the home is beautifully clean, no care home smell. The staff are calm, helpful and appear to be dedicated to what they are doing in providing care to the residents.

The care home is very clean and modern and well located. The condition is clean and well layed out. The staff are friendly and professional and we have good confidence in the care our aunt is being given.

A beautiful home full of beautiful staff. We were so upset when we knew Dad needed nursing care, but the team at Riverdale knew exactly what to do and say to make things as happy as possible. It feels like a second home for us all, despite our short stay. The staff gave Dad his dignity back and we
can't thank them enough. The home is in a lovely location with beautiful gardens and the decor is classy and homely. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Couldn't recommend enough.

My mum was transferred from hospital to Riverdale for end of life care. The staff were amazing from the receptionists, nursing staff and cleaners. Everyone was polite, helpful and caring. My mum received excellent care, and passed away, pain free and with dignity. My heartfelt thank you, to you all.
I will never forget your kindness.

A party was organised for my mum's 93rd birthday. The party was really amazing and was enjoyed by us all, a great effort was made by the staff on this occasion and when I go to visit my mum as well, they are very kind and caring. Staff go above and beyond.

Mum has been at Riverdale now for over a year and has received excellent care with lovely cheerful staff from healthcare assistance to kitchen staff.
We always feel welcome when we visit and have attended special events like the summer party, art exhibition, and recently a party for Mum's birthday.
