My mum moved into Chichester Grange in April to help with respite care during her recovery from surgery. She had been very unsettled but once in their care she has thrived. They have helped her to relax and settle into her new surroundings. Nothing is too much trouble. There are so many activities
to take part in or just to know that they exist there is no reason to be bored, lonely or sad. The nursing care she has received is second to none. Not only are the staff there for the residents they are a great emotional support for the extended family too. They always make us feel welcome and we are never made to feel intrusive or in the way. Thank you to the staff for all they do for these elderly residents. My mum is very happy at Chichester Grange and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for care for your loved ones.

We moved our dad to Chichester grange after another home in Chichester wasn't able to meet his nursing needs. It's the best decision we could have made. Whilst the facilities are beautiful, gardens immaculate and great food, the reason we love it is the team who work there. There are a few people in
particular who really really go the extra mile, and more, so a special shoutout to; Samantha, Marlene, Effie, Isreal, Thomas, Annesh, Nicky activities and Bethany who are all led by the wonderful Nicky (the boss)! The reason we moved to the Grange was Ali, she's the clinical lead and just amazing! She cares, she's knowledgable, she's friendly and approachable, and above all gives us as a family full confidence that dad is being looked after well. So Ali, thank you a million times!
If you are looking for a nursing home for a loved one, especially if they are very unwell, I would fully recommend Chichester Grange.

Dad arrived in October, after a challenging hospital stay. The team made the admission process as smooth as possible, doing a great job getting him settled in.
Staff treated Dad as an individual, spending time patiently talking to us about his care and doing their absolute best to make him feel at
home.
The team on Dad's floor was impressive. During his stay, the carers were all so patient, supporting Dad with all his challenges. Particularly at the end, they did a first-class job in helping Dad but also providing guidance and support to us. They were reassuring, honest, and unfailingly professional. We really appreciated practical support ranging from chasing missing hearing aids to guiding us through the preparation of end-of-life plans. It all helped to make Dad's final days as comfortable and peaceful as possible.
We appreciated the tranquil environment, the garden, and the quality of the home. A safe well-run place. We couldn't have asked for better quality care.

Moving Mum into Chichester Grange a month ago was a huge and difficult decision for our family, especially with her advanced Alzheimer's. However, the team at Chichester Grange has been absolutely amazing at helping her settle in. They are so kind and professional, always finding the time to chat
with us about her care. Close communication between us and the team is really important to us and we love using the app to see what mum has been up to each day.
We know she is safe and well-cared for, and it is reassuring to see her engaging in the activities - she particularly enjoys the music, singing and art sessions. Mum is lucky enough to have family close by and she loves it when they pop in for tea and cake in the on-site cafe or a walk in the gorgeous gardens. We are so grateful to everyone there for making a tough transition so much easier for all of us.

My wife had entered the Grange in October on a respite basis, but unfortunately, she was Sectioned because of some psychotic episodes. After a period of care in the NHS including 9 weeks in a hospital following a broken hip she returned to the Grange in March.
Almost immediately upon her return,
her Alzheimer's improved measurably and her general health has started to improve. I believe that she is now much more settled having her own room, and having attentive carers that treat her very well is helping her wellbeing. They are also looking after her medical needs, and I have a high confidence level that she will be more comfortable long term at the Grange.
I cannot stress to much that the staff are both very helpful and knowledgeable, and whilst it is a large facility the staff know who you are and make sure that you are posted on any developments with, in my case my wife.

Grange is like a 5 star hotel with nursing care.

The Chichester Grange is everything you want from a care home. Caring, cozy, helpful, warm. It was incredibly hard making the decision to move mum into full time care but whole team team did an amazing job helping both mum and I with the transition. I know she is safe and well looked after. The care
team are so gentle and have endless patience. The cafe downstairs is perfect spot for friends and family to hang out with mum and the garden is lovely to get some fresh air. The activities are a great and I know mum esp. enjoys all the music and singing. Five stars!

From the moment we looked at Chichester Grange to the move of my Grandma the service has been outstanding, communication is key to us and I am fully aware of whats happening with my Grandma and knowing she is really looked after and settled is all we asked for. Samantha's communication from the
beginning has been outstanding and she has been very supportive and the nursing staff I just can't fault so thank you!

Our experience with Chichester Grange over the past 3 months has been exceptional, and I cannot speak highly enough of the care my mother has received, since moving in with Alzheimer's. From the outset, mum was welcomed and all the staff handled her transition with sensitivity and compassion. The
teams are so kind attentive and respectful and the Grange is so welcoming to family members at all times and a great cafe too! Activities are well planned, delicious meals, and mum is happy and I know she is extremely well cared for. Thank you.

We moved my 101 year old mother into Chichester Grange when she became unwell.
The staff were kind, welcoming and reassuring.
The entire team at Chichester Grange really impressed us - they were consistently very capable, sensible and caring in their approach and unremittingly patient and kind.
They not only looked after my mother, they looked after all her visiting family and friends too. They checked in with us regularly during our visits to make sure that we were ok.
My mother had a very difficult final 2 months due to her feeling very unwell, but Chichester Grange made the very best of a very sad process, which ended very peacefully.
Words really are not enough to express my thanks to the entire team, especially Justine, Tracey, Effie and Jackson.

I have been at Chichester Grange since beginning of August 2025 and have settled in very well. I join in with most activities. I like art & crafting. The staff are very friendly and give any help if needed.

We are thrilled with the care and kindness shown to our sister who has been a resident for 3 months. The staff really care, and take time to get to know residents, deploying their considerable skills and knowledge with, in our case, dementia.
Chichester Grange is beautifully kept, the grounds
make for wonderful garden walks in the fresh air, the cafe, for tea and cakes where residents and staff enjoy time together. It is all spotlessly clean with laundry delivered back to rooms, folded or hung ready for another day. Almost 2 activities, something for everyone, each day and films in the cinema. Our sister has settled really well after being on her own for 30 years. She would never eat at home, being too unsettled, but now loves the food offered and enjoys eating with others.
Our sister is loved, cared for, is safe and has never looked so well, free from the worries that beset her, on a daily basis, living on her own at home. We can't everyone at Chichester Grange enough.

The staff has good soft skills dealing with customers ie holding the hands of customers and giving them assuring looks and making them feel at home. The staff also take initiatives to wheel bed ridden customers into dining lounges for social interactions.

My sister has been in the Care home a few months now. She is a little forgetful, but otherwise likes to be active. She is full of praise for the staff, the food and general care, but she is restless and feels somewhat regimented: television, sitting about , and singalongs are not really her cup of
tea. Having been in a residential apartment before coming to you, she enjoyed taking a taxi into the city, where she would visit the cathedral and listen to the music or walk around the park. She could also make tea or have a snack in her room when she wanted.
She loves the theatre and concerts, and has taken part in many activities in her full life.
Do you run a choir, or have local musicians in to perform in any way? Is there an art class where skills can be improved?
Are there visits to local places of interest?
Keeping active and stimulated seems vital to keep going, with something to look forward to during the week.
This is not a complaint, merely food for thought.

My sister has a profound learning disability and finding the best possible care has been challenging. I need not have worried as I found Chichester Grange! My sister has settled very well and all her needs are met and care exceeded. Thankfully she has settled well and all the staff are so friendly
and welcoming. She is very happy in her new surroundings and for someone who has always lived at home with parents, this is high praised indeed.

Very helpful and caring members of staff!
More help is needed for patients who are restricted in bed due to injury, like helping them out of bed to sit in a chair for a period of the day, to keep their mobility.
The food for patients who have difficulty eating needs reviewing!
Example: Soup needs
sieving no stringing bits.
Sandwiches some just plain, no mustard, etc.

My father is being well taken care of and it was lovely to have lunch with him and the other residents when we visited.
The view from his room is overlooking the garden which was full of daffodils this spring.
The staff continued to be very helpful to all my father's needs.

I am so pleased with the care that my brother is getting from Chichester Grange. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The facilities are second to none and the activities provided keep him very entertained. He always seems happy when we visit and well fed and watered with a constant supply of
tea and goodies. I am very impressed with the laundry and labelling system, best ever from 18 years in various care homes. The staff pay very close attention to his personal care.
Highly recommend.

My father spent a couple of days respite at Chichester Grange before he passed away peacefully as he would have wished. Dad was treated with the utmost care and dignity, as were we, his family. Although he did not get to enjoy all the home has to offer, I am sure he would have been happy there long
term, and we are very happy with the choice we made to go with Chichester Grange. Thank you to all the nursing and care staff who made my father's final journey a more peaceful one.
