We have been very satisfied with dads care and welfare, he is very happy and enjoyed Jo's encouragement and help to come to his chosen activities, sometimes the musical activities are best enjoyed in his room as they are too loud in the bistro as he has hearing aids which exagerate the sounds!

My husband came to Moors Manor in 2024 and from the start he has been treated with care and dignity. The staff could not have been more caring and compassionate in every department. It is so reassuring when leaving after a visit knowing that he is comfortable and in safe hands. A big thank you to

I can't praise all the staff enough of the care and attention given to my mother in law change of medication and medical issues dealt quickly and efficiently keeping family informed the facilities are great, mailing everyone feel like family.
Excellent menu choice, well cooked with any eating

The care area with drinks & cakes, allows family to visit. I would recommend this care home

My mother entered Moors Manor Care Home having been in hospital and needing nursing care on discharge. The welcome and support from all staff was first rate. It was an anxious time and everyone made the transition very easy. The nursing staff acted on mum's needs immediately and she soon seemed to
settle in.
Moors Manor is really a hotel with care staff, lovely decor and quality facilities.
They are a good team and in my mum's current condition, I couldn't ask for more. Thanks so much!

I visited Moors Manor for the first time in March whilst visiting a fond friend during her respite stay, and i really was so pleasantly surprised!
The home is absolutely stunning and the staff could not be more welcoming to me and so warm to my friend.
I know she very much enjoyed her stay and i
loved being able to visit her in such a beautiful home.

My father started at Moors Manor on respite care, to give me a rest. He liked it so much, we asked him - would you like to move in - yes please. He enjoys the company, care and activities, and endless supply of tea and cake. Good for my sister and I to know he is happy and well cared for.

Dip in attention to detail this month. Not the high standard of continuity previously encountered. Front door still open on occasion early evening, cleaning of high traffic items such as door handles slipped, couple of occasions of no towel in bathroom. Closing missing or other persons clothing in
cupboard. Uneven staff distribution at night?

This home is quite insperational with Activities, care and wellbeing. It's like a five star hotel with care.
Nothing is too much trouble from all the lovely staff from management down.
My sister is very happy here + would happily book myself in when the time comes! But please change the 'Brown'
carpet on Memory Lane to the lovely turquoise of downstairs!
Having said that, 'carer' is more important than decor.
This is a 1st class care home - Thank you Moors Manor.

We have just transferred my father to the nursing care at Moors Manor. Our first impressions are excellent. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the decor and ambiance are very calming.

My mum has thoroughly enjoyed her fourth respite stay at Barchester Moors Manor Care Home. She is full of enthusiasm for the caring and supportive staff and the lovely environment that she experiences when she stays. We are confident to leave Mum whilst we get a break because we know the staff are
kind, helpful and competent in their roles. The entertainment and activities provided that they manage Mum to engage in are brilliant! The food is fab. Thank you all very much. We appreciate you all.

The carers on Memory Lane are always attentive and go the extra mile to make my mum and the other residents feel at home. The shared dining and lounge areas, along with her room, offer a lovely view of the gardens and forest. She loves the dancing and singing social activities and is quite the
entertainer!
It's nice to see her smiling on social media, even from afar. Being able to call in anytime, day or night, to chat with someone on the floor or speak directly with my mum is incredibly reassuring. As her dementia is progressing, knowing that she's well cared for brings us some peace of mind.

Barchester Moors Manor Care Home provides wonderful care and support for its residents and also their families. All the staff are professional, caring, respectful and kind.
The home's modern, purpose-built and well-designed, there are well-thought-out communal areas, a lovely garden which is
secure The rooms are light and airy and residents can make them their own with their own things. Home from home.

Brilliant place. We were worried that our family member would not feel comfortable or settled in "a home". We need not have worried at all. He loves it. Lots of social and mental interaction. All care needs are met. The food is superb. It's like a 5-star hotel.
The decor is lovely and everything is
very clean and fresh. Well done!

I am very impressed with my father's care that is being provided for him at the Barchester Moors Manor Care Home. The staff and nurses are so kind and helpful that nothing is too much for them. The environment is very relaxing and friendly, reassuring for my mother and me knowing he is being well
looked after and in a safe place too. Thank you.

Everything about the care home is absolutely perfect - lovely, comfortable room with shower room included. Staff are so caring and helpful. Daily menu throughout my stay has been excellent with a variety as at home! I have enjoyed my care/stay and will hope to return again in the autumn when my
family will be away. My grateful thanks go to all the staff who have supported my stay. Meals greatly enjoyed, just as home! You all deserve a very large thank you for your great kindness and care to detail. I have been well blessed. Will hope to come again when my daughter and son-in-law are away sometime in the autumn.

My father-in-law was admitted to Moors Manor for a short spell before we lost him to dementia.
But the kindness, care and compassion we were all shown in his final days was amazing.
The staff did everything they could to make sure he was comfortable, and they cared for my mother-in-law, husband
and sister-in-law just as beautifully.
I cannot fault this service. From the staff to the facilities. The manager has built a fantastic team and as a family, we thank them.

Lovely home, clean and well looked after. Staff treat residents with dignity and very caring. Enjoy visiting Mum, with great activities to join in with her. Always made to feel very welcome.
