I have been visiting at least every 2 months since she became a resident at Moors Manor and am so pleased to see her in such a lovely environment with such caring personal. She always responds to me each time which makes me very happy as I travel from Wiltshire and stay with her son.

My sister is in her third year of residing at Moors Manor and I'm so happy to say that it feels like a 'little family' particularly with all the lovely interaction from the carers. The residents so enjoy the attention. Everyone is kind and caring from Management, to the three lovely ladies on Reception who always make everyone feel so welcome, to the expert care of the Senior Carers, to the lovely staff who keep the Home so clean. The food looks amazing and the garden is looking lovely this year. So lovely to sit in this pretty area, with plenty of shade. My mother is experiencing a real dip in mental health at the moment and the continued perception of inadequate staffing especially at night is not helping. Requested 'key' lightfitting maintenance has still not been fulfilled a month on and the proliferation of drinking receptacles in the room on an increasing basis is not a positive indicator of regular interaction. I cannot rate the food and drink as can only ever visit at the end of an evening meal. A weekday visitor had to sort out my mothers breakfast the other day as there were no visible staff. I do of course accept that a very mobile person with mild Alzheimers can be difficult to deal with (as am I - with certain expectations as a private fee-payer). Currently looking for a 'busier' environment that I feel sure will better suit my mothers changing requirements and personal wellbeing. She has been at this residence since December 2023

Hi, my name is Judith, and I'm a Kitchen Assistant at Moors Manor.
I bring a wealth of experience to my role, having previously run a nursery school where food hygiene, nutrition and allergy awareness were a very important part of my work. I’m really pleased to be able to use my knowledge and experience within the kitchen team here at Moors Manor.
I lived in the Channel Islands for 24 years, which was a wonderful part of my life, and I have lots of happy memories from my time there.
Outside of work, I’m a big Formula 1 fan and love following the races and keeping up with all the excitement!
I really enjoy being part of the Moors Manor team and using my experience to help provide our residents with safe, nutritious and enjoyable meals.
